We absolutely loved our stay at this resort. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The view from the lanai was spectacular. We could actually see Whales playing in the water almost every day. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need and all beach toys to make a great beach day.

We had a marvelous trip and that is on part because of the wonderful place we stayed. The place includes so many thoughtful additions that made things easier…. From chairs and umbrella to a well stocked kitchen! We loved it!

This condo and the property were great. It was right on the waterfront and having a pool and hot tub was a plus. The condo had everything that we could think of needing, including beach supplies, and was very clean. Mike was also very helpful and reached out to us before we arrive to share events that would be happening while we were in Maui. I would stay again!

The check in at the office was very quick and we were pleased when we entered our lovely home for 8 days! The home was comfortable and very nicely decorated, we especially enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the evening with the ocean breezes blowing and in the morning with our coffee. We did lots of sightseeing, beach sitting, snorkeling, eating great food ( including the food tricks close to the condo) and just relaxing!

The condo was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need in order to cook your meals there (including a variety of spices and condiments). The closet was stuffed with everything you would need for a day at the pool or beach. The communication with the owner was great and he gave us some great ideas of area to walk or hike. There is a food truck park about 2 blocks away which was great as well. There are plenty of restaurants very close to the condo as well. I would highly recommend this condo.

First time to Maui, and it was magical. The beds were comfortable. Even without air conditioning we stayed cool with fans and that ocean breeze. My kids loved the pool and shuffleboard. I loved early mornings in the lounge chairs watching the whales jump in the water in front of me.
The hosts were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. Immediate responses to any of our questions. I felt like they really wanted me to enjoy their condo and have a wonderful vacation. Which we did. Would love to come back.

We stayed with our family of four and it was perfect for us! The location was great. Walking distance to my morning coffee, grocery store, restaurants, and the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for anything we needed. Beach towels, snorkeling equipment, and even board games were there. The hosts texted us a place to see the turtles and it certainly didn't disappoint. I would 100% stay there again.

Aloha!! My family and I have stayed at many different condos at Papakea.. this one by far has been the most beautiful condo with eveything you could possibly need. As my other family members had to go to the store and buy their own garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry soap, and more… My condo was filled with plenty of everything needed for the whole stay. This condo had super comfortable beds and had plenty of room for my husband myself and our three teenage daughters. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked full of everything needed including spices, butter, oils, coffee and more. The room was also stocked with chairs, buggy boards, snorkel gear, games, beach towels, golf putters, and more. The owners are super responsive and easy to get ahold of. The pictures on the site are exactly what you get.. book this condo and you wont be sorry. Thank you again for always answering my messages and taking the time to call me and give me the information needed. We will definitely be staying here again. . until next time Maui..

This property was perfect! It is so well equipped with everything you need! There are beach chairs, towels, cooler, games, golf clubs and tennis equipment for use on property. The beds were like sleeping on clouds! There is no air conditioning but it wasn’t a problem at all. There is a great ocean breeze that comes in and plenty of fans in the condo. It’s also very quiet - thick walls so unless someone is on their lanai, you can’t hear anything going on in the units around you. The hosts were super attentive and helpful. It was a great stay!

Mike and Lesli have taken great care and attention to detail to make our stay in their condo a wonderful experience. Special touches like a fully stocked kitchen with condiments, spices, and coffee pods were especially helpful. We loved the location and the boogie boards and beach chairs made it easier to enjoy beach time. Beautiful condo, excellent location and wonderful condo layout. Excellent master suite with ensuite bathroom, gorgeous kitchen with all amenities, second bedroom had multiple beds and lots of room for the children. There was everything in the condo that you could use for every activity available. The owners were very responsive before, during and after our stay in their condo. FANTASTIC!

We loved the property and will stay again for sure. We took our children and loved the pool, loved the beaches, loved the kitchen, loved the extra beach towels we could borrow, the noodles, the snorkel gear, the chairs and everything else that made our entire Maui experience a blast.
Beds were comfortable, fans were great, view was great, kitchen had everything we needed, the place was spotless and I could go on and on and on. ABC Store is right next door, grocery store a block away, beaches all around, easy parking, great facility pools and golfing greens and shuffle board etc.
Thank you for a great experience and beautiful place to call home for a week.

Almost everything I read from the reviews by previous renters was helpful and accurate, except the comments made that "no air conditioning was no problem" For our family, the lack of AC (Sept.9 thru Sept 17) made our stay very !!!!uncomfortable.

Our stay here at J-204 could not have been more enjoyable! If you’re looking for an extremely accommodating, family friendly stay while on your vacation, look no further. All the little things are taken care of—spices provided for cooking, pack-n-play for babies/toddlers, beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear provided, and laundry soap for the amount of laundry that comes from messy kiddos like ours. This place went above and beyond, especially when comparing to the condo our family stayed at in the same resort. Can not recommend enough! Thank you for making our trip so special!

Mike and Leslie were awesome property owners and worked with us to answer all questions we had about our stay prior to booking. They also went the extra mile to help us explore some dinner options as one our our friends celebrated his birthday while we were here!!
The condo was in good condition and true to the pictures posted. It was well stocked with all amenities needed for our for our stay and pleasure!!
Even though this condo didn’t have air conditioning it was very enjoyable with the windows and patio doors open for the cross breeze. The condo doesn’t get direct sun in the morning or evening which helps to keep it cooler. This was a big concern for us since we are from Texas and the heat can be a major factor for comfort. We didn’t have a problem and found it to be comfortable each day/night.
Papakea Resort grounds were very well maintained and the pools and hot tubs were a very relaxing way to end our days
We were able to enjoy endless nights of gorgeous sunsets along the beach !!
Looking forward to our next stay at Papakea!!!

We all had a great time in Maui, good weather and plenty of activities and relaxation. The condo at Papakea, J204, was really nice, so homey and comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The owners, Mike and Lesli made sure our stay was a wonderful experience.

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) stayed with two grandparents in Mike and Lesli's condo. To have our own kitchen was crucial and we simply folded the pull out sofa back every day to have enough space during daytime.
We had a fabulous time all around - it was whale season and we kept seeing breaching whales throughout the day. Our 3 girls LOVED the pool (and we enjoyed the hot tub). Shops and small restaurants as well as food trucks are in walking distance. We enjoyed snorkeling in Napili Bay, Honolua Bay and loved the road up north-west. Our snorkel trip to Lanai left from Lahaina and also that is close by. A great trip!
Definitely recommend the place!
