Although there were a couple of minor cleanliness issues this time around such as an old pizza being left in oven, sticky cabinets, and a dusty fridge it wouldn’t prevent me from staying here time and time again. Great location, amazing sunset views and easy access to water. Can’t ask for more!

Light and bright studio with full kitchen. Comfortable queen bed that looks right out over the ocean. The decor is cute and beach themed. Clean and in good condition. Assigned parking space. There is a shaded park on one side and the Magic Sands beach park on the other side. Highly recommend for 2 people

Amazing view, the owner went above and beyond by providing everything you need to enjoy your stay. snorkelling equipment, chairs ect!!! Great job.
Only thing I would say is that I would move the furniture so you can enjoy the view. Get rid of the pub style table (not comfortable) and put in a set you can sit and enjoy your coffee and meals at.

The property overlooks the beach - I will miss the waves crashing. It was also very functional as a base for day trips around the island. The beach is pretty but can be rough. The pool is a huge advantage when the beach is not so user friendly. The restaurant By the beach was great too. Everything at your fingertips if you wanted it.
I loved how the owners had made the property feel like a holiday home. A bonus having the beach chairs and cooler bags. Would thoroughly recommend.

I tried to find one thing I could offer some constructive criticism on for this stay but there’s none.
Everything is exactly as listed, the condo was spotless, the location is ideal, there was not one single thing we needed that wasn’t right there in a drawer or cupboard. Literally everything like ziplock bags, aloe spray, coffee filters and bandaids.
The restaurant downstairs has a great menu and the bartenders are experts. There’s also a beach shack in the front of the restaurant that’s open during the day for refreshments, coffee and light snacks.
On the other side of the condo is a beach park with picnic tables, benches, grills, and it’s completely shaded with large trees. We would prepare our lunch in the condo and just bring it down on the plates and eat at the park at the picnic tables watching the waves crash against the wall- then just bring our plates and silverware back upstairs to wash, it was amazing!
On about day 3 we found an app called “GuideAlong” and for about $18 we downloaded the big island guided tour. It was fantastic, we just hopped in the car, got to one of the the talking points on the map and we followed it around the whole island. The next day we did the volcanos portion of the tour which was so incredibly helpful. Make sure to bring the cooler and ice packs because there are so many great stops and little roadside stands along the way.
We would 100% stay here again, thanks again for sharing your remarkable space with us!

This property was perfect for our needs. The view from the room is breathtaking. It’s right next to the beach and a restaurant. The room has all that you need for a day at the beach including chairs, umbrella, bodyboards, and snorkeling equipment. The bed is super comfortable as well.

This stay was very cute and cozy and the view was fantastic! The property was clean and very very well stocked for any activities you’d want to do (I used a fishing rod). The location of this condo is also very nice because it is not in the super busy part of Kona and it’s easy to get in and out of the area for adventures but still close to many amenities. You will not regret book in this place, and listening to the waves crash every night!

This trip was to celebrate my Granddaughters graduation from High School. Neither of us had been to Hawaii before, and we had been talking about it for many years. We stayed at this location for 10 days. This was the perfect place for us. It was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Jan and Glenn thought of everything. This oceanside condo was perfectly located outside of town (not too far from shops, but away from the crowds) and clean - had coffee in bed while reading and watching the ocean waves crash, watched spectacular nightly sunsets from our window and took advantage of great local swimming and snorkeling. Super fun to watch the local kids boogie boarding at Magic Sands Beach. The restaurant next door is convenient and serves delicious fish tacos. The condo's kitchen is well equipped, too, if you want to cook some local Ahi. Overall an amazing place to rest and relax and I can't wait to return.

This was our first stay on the Kona side of Hawaii which probably accounts for the only real issue. It’s a cute little condo; unforgettable view! There is an awesome beach next door and amazing coffee downstairs and a pretty good restaurant too. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Nice beach accessories too. Couple things we weren’t super fans of: though the view was priceless as the ocean was literally outside our sliding glass doors it was so loud! Like a freight train! 😂 The air conditioner made a loud noise like an old-school phone left off the hook. It didn’t bother my husband but I’m a very light sleeper so I had to choose between sleeping hot or not sleeping. Eventually I was so tired from our days exploring it didn’t matter too much. Every other stay on the islands we were greeted with a goodie basket with fresh fruit and such… This was the only time we were not but still not a big deal. The one issue I had was that it appeared it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while. The floors were very dirty as my socks were black after I unpacked. The cabinet handles were dirty. Cabinets and appliance faces were dirty and there were roaches on the cabinets! Probably unavoidable due to location but I just can’t…
The pool is salt water. We always book places with a pool so we can get in cool freshwater so that was kind of an bummer. Our hosts were very nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and as always didn’t want to come home🌺

Absolutely loved my time staying at this property! Location was wonderful and the condo was well equipped with everything you’ll need.
The air conditioner was on the noisy side so I wasn’t able to sleep with it on, but there is always a nice breeze with the patio doors open. Definitely not something that would prevent me from staying here again as I’ve already booked my next stay!
You won’t be disappointed!

The property was in a great location and had everything you need to enjoy your stay; beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, coolers and even fishing gear. The ocean view is amazing. You’re so close to the water you can see the fish! If your lucky you can watch the dolphins put on a show while you’re enjoying coffee in bed.

This sweet little Magic Sands studio was the ideal home base for our Big Island vacation. We loved the direct oceanfront location: the sound of waves and the sunsets, ahhh! Jan was great and responded quickly to our questions. The condo was well -stocked and the bed was very comfortable. Mahalo!

The view was wonderful and the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks was very relaxing. The condo was neat, clean and easy to navigate. We loved our time there. It was a great base from which to explore the big island.
The only suggestion would be to evaluate the tankless water heater for repair or replacement. While not uncomfortable, the water was barely warm for showers and hand washing; with the cold tap completely off.

Place is really cute! Looks just like the pictures. There is a great restaurant attached to the condo. The magic sands beach right next door less than a minute walk. Host provided all necessary beach supplies, including two sets of snorkel gear, boogie boards & umbrellas. Location is quaint, there is a trolley that takes you into the cute town which has shops & restaurants.

Start your day at the private pool with a cup of Hawaiian coffee and breakfast burrito from the restaurant next door. Snorkel in an amazing coral reef 5 minutes away and watch the unobstructed sun set from the condo. You have all you need to enjoy a memorable trip.

We loved staying at the Magic Sands- the room was perfect- the scenery was awesome- the beach was right next door! The room was well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing we didn’t like was the grill restaurant on the bottom floor- their staff was rather rude and not accommodating at all.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this property on our honeymoon. We loved everything about it! The location was central to everything we did and we saw just about all of the island. The place was well stocked with everything we needed down to sandwich bags so we could take our lunch to the beach. It was great that we could easily walk to the beach. Magics, the restaurant downstairs, was really good. Friendly staff and great food. Definitely try their Sunday Brunch! 10% off was added bonus. We would definitely come back to this property.

A beautiful place to watch the sunset and wake up in the morning. Everything in the pictures and descriptions is accurate.
Everything is provided! Pots, pans, plates, utensils for the kitchen. All beach items - beach chairs, beach blanket, beach umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, boogie board, fishing pole and etc. We didn't use all of the equipment but it is good to know that it is there.
The property is located off of Alii Drive. A great location!!! - a walk to the popular Magic Sands Beach, the Magic Grill is located in the same building, and you can rent bikes to head to downtown!
Janine, the owner, is very quick to respond to our needs and the neighbors are friendly and helpful.
The waves can get loud at night so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs.
If we ever return to Kona - this will be the place we love to be...

The perfect location with everything you need for your stay and more! You won't ever want to leave. The view was beyond words and the beach was so conviently located we never had to drive if we wanted to just have a day on the beach. Water was crystal clear and you could even snorkel right in front of the complex. Unit was very clean and well organized. Already hoping to stay again soon! Thanks for an unforgettable vacation!

The property is in an ideal location. There is a beach next door and plenty of dining nearby. Good snorkeling from the beach. Unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The view and sound of the waves was amazing. We plan on staying here again.

Great condo right next to a beach and also close to some good snorkel spots. Condo has lots of amenities to use (beach blankets cooler boogie boards fishing poles lots of helpful guide books ect) The pool has recently been redone and is very nice. The condo has beautiful ocean views and the sliding doors open up nicely so you can fully enjoy a nice sea breeze.
