It was our second time we stayed at this unit and we will be back there for sure. We loved absolutely everything. Unit was upgraded and it definitely contributed to our positive experience. Swimming pool was very useful after the sunset, we spent lots of time on a beach. Unit was clean and had everything you need to feel like home. Palms at Wailia is well maintained. It took us about 2 minutes to drive to the beach so we don’t have to carry beach chairs and umbrella. If you like snorkelling then you will see lots of turtles. We had lots of fun and didn’t want to go home at the end of our vacation. We wanted to leave wonderful review in guest book, but could not find the pen. Next time we will stay for longer and will be sure to bring the pen, lol.

Location was perfect and close to the beach. Carpeting outdated. Master bathroom had strange musty smell. No drawers to put clothes away. Lounge cushions old and worn.

The Palms is my favorite place in Maui to rent a condo. Unit #1803 did not disappoint. It was well stocked with linens, beach towels, coolers, beach chairs and more. Unit is spacious and the fold out sleeper sofa mattress is very comfortable to sleep on. Lots of patio furniture to relax on too. Would love to stay here again!

We were aware of the location but were surprised at how bad the road noise was. Initially we thought it would just be white noise but it did make it hard to leave the beautiful doors open or enjoy the patio. Unit layout is great, carpet not so much. It’s tired & holds a lot of damp smells so if allergies are a concern it may not be a good unit for you. We aren’t sure who sets prices but this unit is going up 55% between 2023 & 2024 making it cost prohibitive for us. As always Rentals Maui is top notch in their service.

The shower had black mold, as did the carpet right outside of the shower. The entire condo is in desperate need of a cleaning - we were in another condo on the property that was in much better condition. The pool was nice, but the management was a bit ridiculous - what property doesn't allow snacks or drinks by the pool? Won't be staying at this specific condo again.

We stayed here for four nights and it made the perfect base to explore Maui. The condo had all the facilities we could have needed, and it was probably the most spacious 1br place we’ve seen. The kitchen and lounge room were huge and the garde terrace was a lovely place to eat breakfast and relax. Check in was super simple. The resort was in a perfect location with great facilities as well as the best beaches nearby.

We have stayed here at least 5 different times. Always a great location in Wailea and some excellent beaches. The Unit we stayed in looks worn. Interior paint, exterior concrete patio, carpeting, kitchen flooring all look quite worn and need updating. The location is great. The unit needs some old fashioned love.

Unit has been ridden hard and put away wet a lot. Black mold in shower and ice chute in refrigerator. Unit Not terrible but definitely not clean. Who ever, last painted tell them not to cover over the problem but Clean and prep. first! Main picture of front was not this unit!

Lucky us having nearly two months on Maui. Our one-bedroom Palms was the perfect location with plenty of space, both inside and out. The Palms Association does an incredible job with the grounds. This condo could use some updating and attention. The toilets kept running; there was a horrible smell from the refrigerator/drains; kitchen knives/cookware/pyrex bowls need to be refreshed; need dresser in bedroom and new sheets/pillows. We did love the ease of the unit being on the first floor, and the wonderful space.

It’s a likely sign of the COVID times that a person could spend the amount we did on this rental that was reserved a year ago and not come in contact with a single person connected with the vendor. But that’s a good thing. The entire process was conducted smoothly and efficiently online. All entry instructions and helpful local tips were easily accessible. We’ve used Rentals Maui on numerous occasions and they never disappoint. The unit was clean and well equipped. A few aging spots on bathroom mirrors were evident. A teapot would have also been nice. But that’s nit-picking. Don’t hesitate to book.

This is our 3rd time at the Palms. We love it there. First time in this unit (#1803). Lots of beach stuff, including for kids. Coolers. Good parking right out front.
Everything worked out well. Great lanai furniture. Needs a new hose outside.
Nice furniture inside and great decorations. Carpet getting a little tired. Highly recommend this unit.

The Palms at Wailea was nice. Ground floor patio had sun chairs, dining table, weber grill, and more lounging furniture. Big TV in the bedroom and the living room. Nice main pool, and hot tub, with restrooms close by. Beautiful view of the ocean from there as well. Grounds were really pretty. When we had issues with the kitchen cabinet door, the property manager sent someone out right away. When landscaping and other things were happening on the property we got a notification as well. Very informed. Only con would be the closets were very full with pillows and blankets and random stuff for renters. No place really to put your clothes, Also there were no dressers either, so Awe “lived” out of our suitcases. Understand that when it comes to dishwashing soap, laundry detergent and toilet paper those are things after a long stay you have to start to buy yourself. But we were here for two weeks and only had two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. But if you have a car I guess you can go to Safeway and buy a pack of eight rolls for $15.
The proximity between Wailea and Kihei was perfect… With the ability to walk down to keawakapu beach or quickly drive to your favorite beach just a few minutes away. When we come back to Maui, will consider staying once again at the palms, but we really do love more ocean view and watching the golfers playing as a fun distraction which this condo did not have. Love Hawaii!

I will think twice before renting another property from Maui rentals. The day we checked in within hours I informed them that the master sink was not draining and never received a response. They also said that the washer was to be fixed early in the week but when we attempted to do laundry the washer did not drain we had to fish our clothes out of the water and take them sopping wet to a relatives condo to spin and dry properly. There was visible hand prints all over the door and other surfaces upon check in and essentially no cleaning supplies to do the job properly. The property was gorgeous but these couple of things made the stay less than enjoyable, especially during COVID when extra cleaning measures are preached.
