Papakea Resort has something for everyone, with two ocean front salt water swimming pools (one heated pool right outside your lanai and we provide beach/pool towels), three tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, 12 new stainless steel Weber BBQs, two saunas and putting greens. Unlike most condo resorts on Maui, Papakea is low rise and low density. The resort offers 13 beautifully landscaped acres with multiple koi ponds and is located right on famous Kaanapali Beach.

Please note: Papakea charges a $17/day facility fee for your first 10 consecutive days in a 30 day period. The fee includes a parking permit, Wifi throughout the resort, cable and local calls during your stay. Additional vehicles are $5 a day. This is collected by the Front Desk upon arrival.*

Aloha and welcome to Papakea G405! This unique 3-bedroom loft with central A/C is situated on the 4th floor, and can accommodate up to 10 guests. The standard rate is for up to 6 guests. There is a $75 extra guest fee applies to any guests over 6. This fee (per person) is applied per day and paid as part of the reservation total. Easy access provided with elevators at Papakea Resort.

This is a perfect condo for families or multiple friends staying at the Papakea Resort. Imagine waking up to the sounds of the ocean and starting each day with coffee on your spacious lanai. Upon entrance, the first bedroom is to the right with a Queen size bed and large mirrored closet. There's a separate bathroom outside the first bedroom with a shower tub, perfect for relaxing after enjoying a day in the sun. Guests staying in the master bedroom can enjoying waking up to ocean views each day. The King bed faces the shoreline and there's a large ensuite bathroom, also with a shower tub. The upstairs loft is the perfect room for extra guests with a Queen bed and two Twins that offer a great open space to enjoy. The living room can accommodate your additional guests with a brand new sofa Queen size sofa sleeper.

The large living space is ideal for gathering the family with an open floor plan, dining table that seats six and additional seating is available on the lanai. The kitchen has ample counter space, a new microwave and a new stove. It's well stocked with all supplies you would expect at home. Relax on the new furnishings found in the living room, while enjoying a movie on the flat screen TV. The living room and kitchen look out to the lanai which has a table for four and a lounge chair; it's the perfect spot for enjoying sunsets and spotting whales from December to April! Staying cool is easy with wonderful afternoon shade and a new split A/C system in every room!

There's a shopping center right across the street, offering a convenient location to get groceries or a quick meal. Whaler's Village, with a variety of shops and ocean front restaurants, is a short five minute drive. There is a wonderful sandy beach walking distance from the condo. Beach sand levels can vary based on the conditions.

Our team of professionals are located on Maui to provide our guests with exceptional service. In addition, we have a after-hours emergency dispatchers to assistance when needed. We provide: Dish soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets, in addition to a complimentary starter set of Papaya Noni shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body soap. One beach chair and beach towel is provided for each guest, plus a cooler for your stay. Complimentary concierge service is available to our guests.

This condo is professionally managed by My Perfect Stays, an on-island property management company.

***NOTICE***
Effective June 23, 2025 through September 12, 2025 the G building at Papakea Resort will undertake an extensive plumbing project. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for weekend work. Contractors may be present on the property to commence preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Non-working holidays are already included in the schedule. To minimize disruption, any excessively loud work will not commence before 10:00 AM. Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.

Standard Cancellation Policy:
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund.
Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.

This condo was in a nice location that was walkable to stores and food trucks. The grounds were well kept and great ocean views. Room G405 fit our family of 6 adults easily. The AC kept the master bedroom cool and the entire condo comfortable. It easily slept all 6 and could fit more if you're willing to double up in some of the beds. The only area I would address is the television. There were 2 televisions on the condo the main one in the living room area was fine. The master bedroom tv was maybe 24 inches and really too small to see if you were in the bed. Would have been nice to have had a tv in the loft area as well.

Cute condo with plenty of sleeping space and fabulous view. It is a little dated but clean and comfy which is all we require. If you're looking for the RITZ, this is not it. If you're bringing a family and looking for comfort and beach charm then this is perfect! The kitchen needs a few more supplies ie: larger fry pan, foil, baggies, saran wrap and a new blow dryer in the master bath. All things that could be an inexpensive upgrades and very helpful! We would definitely book this condo again.

The outside of the complex is beautiful and well kept! The inside was a total different story, we had roaches in the kitchen and both bathrooms, killed about 15 total in a week. The unit was really out dated and the dishwasher was broke. I would of expected more for 1000.00 a night with taxes, I brought this to there attention and they offered no compensation. Will not stay here again...

Great location. Well stocked unit including beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkels/fins. Beautiful well kept grounds. Easy check-in and check-out. Easy parking We really enjoyed our stay and the location of the condo. Looking forward to going back and enjoying morning coffee watching the ocean and beautiful sunsets from the lanai.

Your organizational notifications and timely reminders were accurate and helpful. As a booking agent, you were very good. The unit was not satisfactory. Note the following deficiencies. The upper dishwashing rack is broken and will fall out if you pull it out more than 1/3 of the way. Two side racks in the fridge door are missing, so you can not use the shelves, The glass door runners in the hallway area rusted shuts; you must lift the door to even move it; the overhead lights in the second bedroom are all burned out; the shades in the master bedroom are partially ripped from the guide; the air conditioners need recharging badly, it was close to 90+ degrees when we entered the unit; Several counter tiles in the kitchen and master bath are cracked and need replacement. As property managers, you should demand maintenance before renting again.

We had plenty of space, all the amenities we wanted, great view. One of the kitchen appliances was broken, but the management offered prompt assistance to remedy the issue. We were very pleased with the place and service.

We love this resort to stay with our children. We have a 5 and 3 year old and they love the pool and jacuzzi. They also enjoy the resort cats! The place is stocked with chairs, beach towels, a cooler, basically everything you need for a beach day. We would love to stay here again!

Great location with amazing view overlooking the golf course, swimming pool at ocean view as well. Felt safe letting kids be on the patio once we moved the chairs away from the railing. There are some surfing/ snorkeling gear in the closet too. For 10 people, this was perfectly sized. Overall, it was well stocked. Would have loved it there were 1. Kitchen tissues 2.Room with Queen bed was brighter/ had more lights 3.Carpets were cleaner/ newer. Will book again if we decide to visit again.

The Papakea grounds are beautiful, and the condo’s location is good; close to the pool and a top floor unit. Unfortunately, that’s where the upside ends. This unit appears to be simply a source of revenue for the owner where they take a minimalist approach to caring for it or the guest experience to maximize the cash flow. I can handle the missing and broken panels from the master bath vanity. I can even take the outdated, broken tiling along with the lack of renovation. The issue is lack of cleanliness and overall comfort. Dirty walls and doors, uncleaned vents, and the rusty shower rod that was supposed to be addressed in previous review is still there. One would think a three-bedroom condo would be equipped for a family stay, but the kitchen was so poorly equipped we had trouble finding cooking gear and serving utensils: I had to borrow a metal spatula to use the resort’s barbeques! In the master bedroom, the mattress is impossibly hard making for a tough night of sleep if you are a side sleeper. The bed had its original tags, dating it to 1994. Whether or not that matters, I am not sure, but it does not seem like a best practice to have a mattress 27 years old – definitely not worth the cost of the unit.

The surroundings were nice but was disappointed with the apartment. The room facing the pool was extremely hot which made it uncomfortable to rest at night, the living room carpet is dirty the shower rod need to be replaced as its shows signs of rust.
