This 3 bedroom/3 bath luxury townhome is located in the gated Alii Cove Condominium complex and is a short walking distance ¼ mile south of the town of Kailua-Kona where you will find fine ocean front dining, shopping, and coffee shops for that morning brew. Since the townhome is located directly in front of Honl’s Beach, it has spectacular unobstructed views of the beach, ocean, and cruise ships moored in Kailua Bay. During your stay, you will enjoy the benefits of a fully equipped 1815 sqft. luxury home with tropical appointments throughout. The bedrooms are configured with a King En-Suite, a Queen En-Suite, and a third bedroom and guest bath. In addition, the townhome has two convenient parking spaces, one in an enclosed garage, and one as a dedicated space. You will also have access to the complex facilities including workout gym, pool, and spa.
Additional townhome features include a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counters, and bar seating. The separate dining area has seating for six. The family room features a flat screen HD TV, Digital Cable with DVR, Home Theater System, iPod dock, and a Blu-ray player with streaming capability. The fully landscaped main level lanai overlooks Honl’s Beach. It has a gas BBQ and an outdoor table with seating for six where you can enjoy that morning cup of coffee watching cruise ships, surfers, or other activities in the bay or a late afternoon mai tai watching the sun set over the ocean.
For those with mobility challenges, it is important to note that direct access from the parking spaces to the townhome requires the use of a flight of exterior stairs. Alternate access with no stair steps is available but it is a bit more circuitous.

Perfect place to stay! The location was awesome for walking to the farmers market and to the beach. Didn’t need a car locally as there is the trolly to take you shopping.

The place was as described and was on a end unit which is nice. The owners and property manager was always available and had great communication. I had some concerns but the owners stayed after us and the concerns were addressed. We are already trying to plan next to stay here again.
What a wonderful place to stay for an extended period of time. This condo, in Ali'i Cove, was perfect for our family of 4. It became our home away from home.
The owner along with previous guests have supplied everything you need for a comfortable extended stay. From kitchenware to boogie boards, from beach towels to pool noodles, from a BBQ to beach chairs, from books to extra linens. The condo also includes a private garage!
The location of the condo is excellent. We had views of famous Kona sunsets and could hear the sound of the ocean. During high surf, it would make loud crashing sounds and low surf conditions would turn it into a calming whisper. We slept with the sliding glass door open to hear it. The upper lanai features a beautiful view of the ocean and neighborhood beach below. Surfers and boogie boarders frequent it daily.
The office in the condo was especially helpful as I was able to work remotely from Kona. There was reliable internet/wifi and a printer.
Our family particularly enjoyed the Ali'i Cove pool. It was heated and clean. The spa was a good size. And if you have a toddler, there is even a toddler pool. And if you want to work out, there's a gym.
Kona is not far from great snorkel spots (Kahalu'u, Two-Step) and a beautiful drive to other amazing beaches like Kapalua. It's within walking distance to good beachfront restaurants like Huggo's and Papa Kona. It close to brand new Safeway, plus Target, Costco, Macy's, etc.
The only small drawbacks to note are that it's hard to feel the AC in the master bedroom and that mattress has seen better days. Also, Kona tap water is pretty poor so I would recommend buying bottled water for your stay.
The owner was super responsive and helpful with recommendations as well.
Bottom line is that we loved staying here and we can't wait to return!
We have just returned from our third stay at this wonderful condo. It continues to be our favorite place to stay when in Kona. As in the past this condo is well maintained and very comfortable with all the conveniences one would want. The condo complex is also maintained making the outdoor experiences and trips to the pool pleasurable.
We were so happy with our stay - Condo was clean, spacious, incredibly well located in Kona - beautiful views, sounds of the waves, great pool area, very quiet complex. It was nearly perfect. Everything was provided that you could possibly need or want to enjoy the Big Island. If you need a larger space and have a chance to stay here, you'll be very happy and comfortable at Les and Ginny's place!
The villa is in very good condition, equipped with everything you can Dream of and has also some cooking ingredients etc. so that you don't have to buy everything allover again. The view is breathtaking and you can reach town easy on foot. We had a wonderful time during Ironman Hawaii time...
We stayed at this place for a week and a half in July 2018. It was exactly what we needed and would definitely stay again on a return trip . The condo is located just minutes from the main street in Kona. There are food stores and restaurants a quick drive away. There is a beach within walking distance and the pool at the residence is great for kids and families. The condo is large, and has everything we needed. It was nice to have three bedrooms, with everything from twin beds up to a King in the master suite. The information provided about our stay was very helpful and complete. Les was very responsive, helpful and reasonable in our correspondence with him. In short, this was a great find on the Big Island and we would not hesitate to stay again.
