This unit is in a great location and very quite. It is a little outdated and could use a refresh such as removing the popcorn ceiling and new kitchen cabinets.The master bedroom in this unit is very hot as there is not much airflow with the bushes right outside the patio.

Beatiful condo on the Makai Golf Course. Great location for day trips around Princeville area. A day at Hanalei Bay is a must. Be sure to go to Kilauea Market + Cafe for best Poke Bowl lunch. Neighbors were very friendly and gave us ideas for daytime adventures.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was great for our family of 4. There were lots of kid-friendly dishes and furniture. It was a close drive to many of the wonderful beaches Kauai has to offer.

We had a lovely stay in Kauai, in no small part thanks to our great accommodations!
The property is professionally managed and it shows. Everything was immaculate, checking in and out was easy, there were no crazy "do the rain dance at check out" instructions. The apartment feels like home and the back patio is excellent. There is no AC, but a bunch of fans and open windows are enough.
Some reviews talk about chickens -- they are the only downside for those who like sleeping in. We are early risers so for us, they were delightful and fun neighbors.
Next time we are in Princeville, we're going to be hard pressed not to come back!

We really enjoyed our vacation in this condo. We are a family of four and the condo seemed large and spacious. We loved having two separate bedrooms with king-size beds, as well as two bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The property was in a nice private location. The kids loved the pool. We enjoyed the roosters and chickens on the property, even though they were a bit noisy in the morning. The kitchen was very functional, and we enjoyed using the games, snorkel, boogie, board, and beach chairs. All in all, we were very satisfied with this property. The neighbours above were extremely welcoming, and gave us a complete orientation to the area. They even taught us how to open a coconut!

We really enjoyed our stay. The decor made gave it a wonderful Hawaiian feeling. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Great location. Close to beaches and shopping. We loved it!! Hope to stay there again.

Loved the condo. Could have packed less thanks to washer and dryer. No AC, and really not needed, but something to consider for those with allergies. Ceiling fans in bedrooms. Only problem to note is lanai was unusable because of wild chicken droppings on cushions (ground floor). Sounds like they're trying to get them removed from property, however.

My best friend and I try to take a vacation together once a year and she had never been to Hawaii so, I started researching and found this place. It fit all our wants and needs. Both our husbands have passed so, we enjoy our travels together. I moved to California and she is in Colorado so, our trips together are a lot of catch up. This place was beautiful and was perfect for our girls getaway.

This unit was spacious, quiet (on the end of the complex) and clean. Great ventilation and felt safe. Not surprised - based on price - but it is definitely a little tired. In particular the kitchen could use an update. The photos are its best side.

This was the perfect location for our quiet island getaway. Located at the end of the complex with two exits to a private garden, it was a great place to relax after a day of hiking or swimming at one of the nearby beaches. Both Hanalei and Anini are only a few minutes' drive and there's a grocery store and restaurants nearby in Princeville. Since there's no A/C, it got warm some afternoons when it was sunny. The property is clean and in excellent shape, but it does look its age. This wouldn't be the best match for anyone looking for a modern space with all the conveniences.But, for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with an island feel to it, this is the perfect spot!

This property was all that we imagined and hoped for. We had everything we needed and a lot of space for the whole family. We enjoyed all the accesses to the outdoors with multiple sliding doors and access to a great yard made this condo feel like a house. We don't mind the roosters all around the property as they remind us that we are in beautiful Kauai. This property was also located very close to the ocean and Queen's bath. We hope we can return soon!

Loved snorkeling at Anini Beach and taking the boogie boards to Hanalei Bay. The Kamahama complex was quiet during our stay over Christmas 2021. We loved our time here!

Our entire experience of Kauai was beautiful. The people are generous and gracious the scenery is spectacular. The beaches are all treasures and easy access. Not to be missed: Doors off helicopter tour, Hindu Monastery, Sunset Dinner cruise along Napoli Coast. Stay clear of treacherous paths down to secluded beaches unless you have good shoes, ankles and knees.
The condo was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The living room is quite large as are the two bedrooms. The two king beds are comfortable. The master bath has a wonderful tiled step in shower. There are four sets of sliding doors (each bedroom, living room and side patio) with the large patio a perfect spot for reading, cocktails and chats. The side patio faces the parking lot and is a good place fir morning sun. But those roosters! The early morning screeching is annoying and they do screech all day. (There are dozens on this property, if you can’t handle the noise look for another property by Kauai Vacation Rentals…they represent lots of fine places in Princeville. It is the very large and open backyard that has allowed the rooster population.) Mahalo KVR. You are great!

Check-in was easy. Location good. Had a small lizard/salamander in one bathroom, along with a couple cockroaches to kill during our stay. Had read about that in previous reviews.
I like fresh air, so was disappointed that screen doors did not lock, so had to keep them shut after dark. Setting and scenery were beautiful.

The condo is spacious and clean. The appliances worked well. And the location was beautiful. However, there were several things that could be improved. The showers were hot for only the first person, then lukewarm for anyone else. The internet was basically nonexistent. We were traveling with a techie friend who was able to run an analysis. The internet speed was below 1, dial up is .750. We were not downloading games, music or movies…..just trying to check email and check in for flights. Very frustrating.
There is NO A/C, and while the breeze is cool enough if you can keep the windows open, the 25 or so roosters start crowing right outside the condo nonstop around 3:30 AM!!
There were only enough towels for one per person, and no pool/beach towels.
Also, checkin and out is very inconvenient! We had to drive to a separate location in downtown Lihue both to pick up and drop off keys, while there is a key lockbox located right on the door. Especially for checkout, it meant driving back to Lihue by 10am meaning we lost the entire morning vs being able to just leave and go for a hike or do some last minute sightseeing before our flight.
The internet and hot water heater would need to be improved before I would stay here again.

Beautiful property very clean kitchen was fully equipped. I wish there was air conditioning it was very warm. The ceiling fans did not work well and it was just very hot. The screen in the master bedroom sliding door would not close all the way so we had a mosquito and bug issue . Iwe checked out 2 days early because of these issues. I would stay here again if they fix these issues because I travel to HawIi often. Great location. The pool was very nice.

This property was in a great location. Well stocked in kitchen. Had good beach equipment. Great outdoor patio with comfy furniture. Neighbor upstairs was very helpful. Property was a bit dated (rust in bathroom, kitchen needs repainting, etc). Overall good experience.

A great place to stay in Princeville. It felt quiet and secluded but close to the Princeville Center and gorgeous walking paths. Would highly recommend!
