Great location. Well equipped property. Very easy and quick walk to Kamaole 1 beach - which was terrific. Nice sand and not too crowded beach with coral and lava to the left for nice snorkeling - saw several turtles and good fish. Great views from the balcony!!! Sunset every night was awesome. Condo had great beach chairs and three umbrellas and other things. Two coolers one of which we used for our day trip on the Riad to Hana. We recommend this property

Joe was great to work with. We got stuck in San Francisco because of airline issues and he offered to let us adjust our trip so we could stay longer. We loved the location as it was a more laid back beach town.

We visited Maui from Toronto and stayed for 6 nights in mid-March 2023. This condo building is in a PERFECT location. I had the best experience with the entire process from the beginning to the end, Joe always responded to my messages immediately, very accommodating. I have researched many condos, hotels and I would definitely recommend this property, very clean, we had everything we needed for our stay and it is in a great area. The unit is located on 6th floor with a stunning view for the Kamaoloe I Beach and the West side of Maui and Lanai Island. The beach is only two minutes walk, great for snorkeling, if you like to explore more there it is a short walk to Kamaole II and III following the dunes path you can get to Keawakapu Beach, which is gorgeous. It was convenient to have all beach accessories provided: chairs, umbrella, boogie board. Cross from the condo building there is a coffee shops and a bakery with delicious goods, I strongly recommend a Hawaiian raisin bread, ABC store is just around the corner, the food trucks next street over. Very quick access to highway, Kihei location allows you for a short drive to all places, like airport, Wailea and Makena Beach, Lahaina for whale watching tours, Iao Valley State Park for great hikes. A sunrise from Haleakala is best excursion and worth waking up early. Thank you Joe for sharing your wonderful property with us, we LOVED it and will definitely be back.

Great spot! The unit was clean, neat and well located. The unit comes with plenty to accommodate your day at the beach, which me and my wife used to the fullest. The only negative is the bed was not as comfortable as I would have hoped for.

Condo was clean when we arrived. Appliances were clean. Everything worked. Lots of extra cutlery and plates. Nice to see all plates and glasses were matching not mixed up. I did not feel that the decoration and artwork signified Maui well. Master bedroom had no artwork and bed was not very comfortable. Bright pink bed covering was a little over the top. TV was tiny and outdoor Lanai table would have need nice to have glass covering. And lastly the there was two beach umbrellas. One was broken and we had to tie it up to keep from folding down on us. The second umbrella was brand new but we couldn’t use it because it wouldn’t stay screwed into sand. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs were rusty and stained. Normally I wouldn’t comment but because we are paying such a big price on renting(especially converting from Canadian dollars) attention to detail becomes more critical. I know it is the way the condos were constructed but the neighbours in 603 had their screen door propped open a couple of times blocking us in. I could reach over and release the top hydraulic mechanism but took a bit of work. Overall we enjoyed our stay and have been to KBR over a dozen times. This year the whales were spectacular. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Great location made it convenient for all our needs. Overall I would definitely rent the place again.

We had an excellent vacation at Joe's condo which was a short walk to Kamaole 1 Beach each morning. We loved watching the sunsets from the lanai. Would highly recommend this condo and hope to be able to come back again. The only issue was the sliding lanai door needs maintenance as it is very hard to open and close. The condo was just as described in the listing. The location was excellent within just a very short walk (75 yards maybe?) to the beach. Restaurants, a grocery, snorkel rental were all within a few block walk as well.
Property was very clean and had an umbrella, cooler, and chairs. Everything we needed to make our stay easy an enjoyable.

Such a cute little condo in a very popular location in Kihei. It was my second time visiting Maui but my first time staying in Kihei and we loved it very much. Loved the distance from the beach and loved the lanai (balcony). We were super close to coffee shops, restaurants, shops, beach rentals, and so much more. We loved staying at this condo! We’re from Texas, so no AC in the bedroom worried us at first, but we communicated with Joe and he assured us it would be fine. He was right! My husband and I visited Maui for the first time ever and really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The view is beautiful! We spent every morning drinking coffee and every evening drinking cocktails on the lanai for hours. The location was great. It was a little tricky to find at first. If you don't put the unit number in your gps you will end up at a different building. There is a street & a building that seperate you from the beach but it really is a short walk. The only disadvantage would be sometimes the traffic was heard over the ocean waves. The bonus is there are a ton of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach out front is super nice and we even saw a turtle while we were snorkeling there! We loved how this condo had snorkeling masks, beach chairs, & cooler. There were also books available to read and cards to play. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the amenities of a full size fridge & washer/dryer. My only complaint would be the super firm bed but that is just a personal preference. The unit had everything we could have asked for and more and was super clean. It also had an AC unit which apparently many in Hawaii don't have. That was a bonus since we stayed in August. Overall it was an amazing trip and we are so happy we picked this condo!

Beach across the street has great snorkeling. Turtles in the water every morning. Local restaurants are super. Elevator access is quick. Convenient kitchen and plethora of storage containers, pans, and things like towels. Pool was never too busy with lots of people. Don’t miss the salted Carmel Gallato at the place next door.

Joe’s place in Kihei is just perfect. It’s right across from the beach and the lanai provides such beautiful views. I would recommend this condo to anyone interested in going to Maui. It’s walking distance to many delicious food places and an abc store just downstairs. The only downside was there were baby ants if food was left out, but that was easily taken care of. I’d definitely stay here again if I were to be back!

My SO and I stayed in this VRBO for a week. The unit had everything we wanted: great views, a lanai, laundry, and a comfy bed. My only slight nits were that the cool air from the AC didn’t reach the bedroom and that the ceiling fan would rattle at higher speeds.

Overall this place was very nice and lived up to the listing. It has a nice balcony view, spacious for 2 people and great location on Maui across the street from the beach. The only issue we encountered was with check-in since google maps routed us to the wrong building based on the address and we didn't have the name of the resort to double-confirm. Took 30 minutes to figure out we were across the street (Google maps routed us to the correct place once we plugged in the unit number), but otherwise was great!

Our stay here was incredible. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had nothing to complain about. The location of this condo is just perfect. It’s close to all the shops, restaurants, and of course that amazing beach. Waking up every morning , having a coffee out on the Lanai and getting to watch whales out in the ocean. Can it get any better? Joes condo was great! It was clean, comfortable and relaxing. He answered my emails in a timely manner and was so kind to deal with. Aloha! We stayed for 2 amazing weeks in this beautiful 1 bdrm condo. The Lanai has an amazing view of the ocean we saw whales and endless stunning sunsets. Breakfast & coffee every morning on the lanai was so relaxing. We cooked and the owner has everything you need for your home away from home experience. Your just steps away from the beach and shops. We had a nice stay at this property. A few recommendations would be to add some hooks in the bathroom to easily dry bathing suits, hang robe, etc. and some hooks to hang hats would be nice.
My only complaint is that the bed frame is so noisy. Turning over in the night would cause a loud squeak and wake up my spouse or vice versa. The bed could definitely be improved with a mattress topper, but I prefer a softer bed.
Joe was also responsive which was greatly appreciated!

My daughter and I loved our week stay here. Joe’s place is gorgeous, the location is ideal, and that view is breathtaking. We pretty much lived at the beach (so many sea turtles 😍) and on the lanai. We loved the sea breeze but did have to turn the ac on a few times because of the heat and noise. There was construction upstairs and yelling kids next door, but a majority of the sounds were birds and waves.
Make sure you hold on to the letter Joe sends you when he confirms. Don’t be me waiting for VRBO to update the check in…it won’t happen lol. All the info (code, instructions are in it). And definitely avoid the man at the desk if you can….trust me lol.
We had an amazing trip and both vote this being the best place we have stayed in Hawaii

The location is great as many stores and the beach are so close. Kihei is the perfect place to stay since it’s not too busy with tourists especially compared to other cities like Lahaina. We love the sunset. The only disappointment was the AC. It seems as though the AC was too weak to cool the entire space. The owner was made aware and tried to find someone to come check it out but they weren’t able to come during my 9 day stay.

We stayed for 8 nights and really enjoyed everything here and in Maui. The kitchen is well equipped and there were lots of towels. All the appliances washer, dryer, fridge, microwave, AC worked well. People in the community are friendly. There are decent dining options nearby. The sunset view from the patio is amazing and probably the best part.
Some minor quibbles,
- missing some minor essentials like a dish scrub, shampoo, nothing you can’t refill from the nearby gas station store.
- the key lock box can be a little confusing the first time
- some minor street noise especially late evenings

Joe's place in Kihei was excellent! The condo is equipped with everything you could possibly need (including ice-cold AC, beach chairs, cooking utensils, and towels), and is steps away from yummy food and great beaches. Parking is a breeze, and the complex is centrally located to the rest of the Maui island (and 15 minutes from the airport). Highly recommend this property, and would not hesitate to book again. Fantastic unit in a really easy building. Joe was great to work with throughout the process, and my stay could not have been more comfortable. Talk about a view! Whenever I spoke with friends on the phone, I told them that all I could see was ocean, sky, the tops of palm trees, and the island of Lanai in the distance. This unit is very well-situated and equipped for exploring the island. It was clean and ready for us. The AC and fans provided good comfort after being out all day. We spent most of our home time on the lanai, enjoying the view and the sunsets.
