It was a pleasure to spend a month in this location. While the apartment is slightly dated , it is spacious and very clean. Any issues we had were immediately resolved by the management. I was so impressed with their willingness to cater to any of our needs. You can’t get a better location - 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach, 2 minute walk to the canal and lanai!! Each day I was able to watch the sunrise and set if I walked in either direction. Shops, markets, hotels all easily accessible. Having a little market/ store right below was so convenient for basics. Even the laundry business on the first floor ended up being a boon , as I was able to easily acquire towels and sheets while washing mine. Loved it so much have already booked a month for next year!! Mahalo Ali’i Beach Rental for making our stay so pleasant .

I wasn’t sure how much I’d like a long term stay in the city, but I fell in love with this location and simple condo. It was SO easy to walk to the beach and all the nearby spots along Waikiki. The mart downstairs was also clutch. Would absolutely stay here again, thank you!!

In general, a very nice condo. However, there is no BBQ, no dishwasher, or many kitchen supplies. Not even plastic wrap. There were 5 trash bags for 10 days--seems like they counted them out. They definitely need to work on some details.

Very nice property, no issues with anything except the oven doesn't work well. We did not report this because we only used it once and I don't imagine a lot of people would use the oven. The property is exactly as shown and the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!!!!

I was not emailed the access code to get into the building until the next day. I did call and left a message with the number listed on VRBO as that is the only information I was given to contact anyone. I also emailed. A house keeper let me in. When I finally got the access code email I did email her back letting her know that I tried to contact them, her response was I should have contacted her directly... again, I did not have that information! I did let them know the air conditioner is extremely loud and I had noticed that there were other past complaints about it - I was told that I will be getting a 150$ credit due to that. The condo itself is perfect! Clean, close to the beach and shopping. Has every thing you need to cook and clean. If there was better communication I would recommend staying, but the lack of communication was a big deal for me.

We staying in Royal Moana 302 from January 10 to March 23, 2016. The condo has been updated and was well equipped for our long term stay. It was great to have beach chairs, towels, umbrellas supplied. The condo is in a great location and less than a five minute walk to the beach. The Ali'i staff were most helpful and we would like to recognize Nicole and Michael for their extra efforts during our stay. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a safe installed in each condo to protect passports, cash, credit cards, etc. We will be back for another visit.

While you do not get the best view, we were not concerned about it as we hardly spent any time at the apartment - there is so much to do on Oahu. The check-in process was smooth and problem-free. We found the property to be very clean, well maintained and well equipped. It felt like we were at home. We did not have any issues during our stay, so we did not have a reason to contact the owner or management. It takes just 5 minutes to get to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. from the property.We would definitely stay there again.

Far enough away from the hub-bub (crowds and noise) but not too far from everything. More of a residential apartments area. Area has a couple of semi-open lots with construction in progress, so not the greatest view but better than a hotel wall. Lots of dog walkers in the area because of the open street area. Building was small and personal. Lanai was too small to use, and hung right over the road. It was noisy if the patio door was open as bus routes seemed to use that street to exit Waikiki, though it would have been worse on a main street. Unit was clean, though not spotless. Not the greatest layout and small dining table even for two and we at times had three or four. Bed was hard but there was a foam cushion that when put on the bed made it was great. Fought small fast ants the whole time, but maybe normal for the area. A lot of neighbors moving in and out over the four weeks we were there, so a lot of running into the cleaning personal and most were very friendly but one was more stand-offish to seemingly rude. The outside guy was there at least every-other day and kept it looking very nice. He always said hello and visited. Great supply of beach and snorkel gear to use. More of the plastic flotation items added, as I suppose they don't hold up too well with a lot of use.
