The best part of this property is the location. Right across from the beach, walkable to so many restaurants. Property has beach amenities. AC is on a timer so as long as we stayed on top of that, the place was cool. Only downside was some harmless ghost ants during our stay, but they didn’t bother us too much.

The condo was just as depicted by VRBO. Very comfortable and had everything I needed. Wonderful location. Loved being on the third floor but there is no elevator so make sure you can climb stairs. Great exercise for me!

Great location! Nice accommodations. Walk to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Air conditioner on timed cycle was not convenient when arriving from long days out, however. Unfortunately, Towels had very mildewy smell.

We loved staying here, Carole was so pleasant to talk to when booking and before arriving to Hawaii. The lady who oversees the room when she isn’t here, Cindy, was awesome and responds super quick to any problems or questions about the building you have! This property was close to the beach, close to any shops/restaurants AND they really make you feel at home! We will definitely be staying here again! Good quality furnishings, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs and umbrella were super useful. Great location for beaches and restaurants. Carol was a very responsive host. The lanai felt a bit closed in, but was a great place to relax and watch the sunrise. The only negative was the roosters just outside the lanai, which started crowing around 3 am.

This is a very clean, conveniently located condo. It was so well equipped and made it easy to cook in if you preferred. On the other hand, it is close to many good restaurants and food trucks. It is close to several great beaches, and the pool is great too! We loved it!!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Everything about this place worked perfectly for us -- the location was quiet and peaceful, and just a short walk from a gorgeous beach. Location was perfect. Right across from the beach. The unit is at the end of the complex which made it quiet and peaceful.
Unit was very well stocked. There was nothing we ever needed. It was roomy and comfortable. The lanai was private and peaceful. Water pressure was strong and hot water was plentiful. The weather was hot so two ACs were helpful. Beach chairs were good quality. Washer and dryer worked great. Everything was perfect. Only wish is that the unit was cleaner, but we would definitely stay here again.

We had such a great stay here, we found the location perfect and most of our favorite eateries were within walking distance which was a huge plus. We loved that the condo was at the end of the neighborhood so it was peaceful and quiet and not right on the road in the hustle and bustle. Just a quick 1 min walk down and you're in everything. While this is not a luxury suite, it was perfect for how we wanted to spend our time in Maui. We spent the our time mostly on the go.
Neighbours are quiet except roosters will wake you up early. Sun came up early and set early so the rooster wake up call was nice. If you like to sleep in, you're going to miss out on precious daylight. Pool is nice when you get tired of the ocean. Harmless geckos can be seen on the balcony and walking around but they are not inside. In-suite laundry was nice, didn't have to pack as many clothes.
Has air conditioning units in the main living room and the bedroom.
Balcony view is just trees. Not exciting but is very private.
Most importantly, the host was very accomodating. I had forgotten she had emailed me check-in instructions and I ended up calling her. Not realizing it was 3 AM for her, she still picked up the call and helped us out. She checked in and asked if everything was going well.

Carole's condo is very comfortable and well supplied. The complex it's in is located across the street from the beach and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Because it faces the back of the complex it is quieter than others and you can sit on the lanai surrounded by tropical foliage and bird calls. A very relaxing place to visit.

Carole's condo was just what I needed. It's right across from the beach and lots of good walkable restaurants and Hawaiian Moons Health food store is just a short walk. I felt safe in the condo traveling alone. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook, however don't leave any food out, there are tiny ghost ants that appear only if food is left out. Cindy is the cleaner and she quickly came to my rescue and solved that problem, Carole and Cindy were great and excellent at communicating. I really appreciated the extra towels and wonderful laundry area. This unit has definitely had some lovely upgrades. Everything you need for the beach is provided. The only downside is the AC is on a timer, so in the middle of the night when it went off I would have to get up to reset it otherwise it would quickly get hot. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay with Carole again!

Overall this place was a great stay and would recommend. Carole the host, is very easy to communicate with, the property clean and equipped with everything you would need for a stay of a week and the location to the local beaches is easily walkable with chairs.
I only have two minor inconveniences during the stay. First, the information for the place is sent about 3 weeks in advance of your stay. If you don’t bookmark the email or print the instructions, there is no additional correspondence. It would be nice to have the information the week of as travel involves so many moving parts and having the check in instructions at the top of your mind would make that process smoother. That said, Carole is very reachable and assisted right away.
The other inconvenience is the birds chirping at about 630-645 every morning. The nature is beautiful around 8 when I’m drinking coffee looking off the patio but to be awaken every day this way was not always pleasant. There isn’t much you can do to isolate the sound, so if you are an early riser it’s a good place for you but if you like to catch a few extra Zzzs on vacay, take this into consideration.

Quiet complex within walking distance of most of what you need. You can hear ‘everything’ around, keep it in mind when doors and windows are open (if you can hear them they can hear you) but I wasn’t fussed. Surprisingly quiet considering everything you can walk to. A bit challenging to keep cool and private with the AC setup but possible. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others. Loved the short walk to a lovely beach to watch the sunset. Well stocked kitchen made life easy!

Carol's apartment was very clean and was exceptionally well equipped with modern appliances and excellent kitchen supplies. Bed was comfortable, towels were nice. Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. Parking was convenient.
This is a third-floor walk up. Location is at the back of an apartment complex. This meant that it was far enough from the main road that we did not have traffic noise.
This was our first visit to Maui, so we did not really know where the best beaches are. We used this as our base to explore the island, but ended up spending more time on the northwest parts of Maui. The apartment is a short distance from supermarkets and restaurants, and is also convenient to the Kihei boat ramp that is the launch point for many boat and snorkeling tours.
Overall, this was one of the nicest VRBO units that we have stayed in (and we have stayed in many).

We loved staying at Carole's place. We stayed here for 5 weeks and worked remotely. Every day at 2pm we shut off our computers and walked the very short distance to the beach! There is also a lovely pool on the property. Carole was very communicative and made the stay easy. The apartment has all the appliances you need for cooking and living and the washer and dryer were a huge bonus! We'd love to come back.

Restaurants, bars, grocery and retail all within very accessible walking distance. Beaches also very walkable. Close to Wailea and beautiful beaches south. Definitely recommend. Great bang for the buck.

For a condo setting, this property is very private. It sets back off the avenue, slightly turned from the avenue out front, which makes it quiet and serene. The unit is well kept and clean, as well as a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen had everything I could need for preparing meals with a fine assortment of pots pans and dishware. The stroll to the beach wasn't far making this a great location for a pleasant vacation. I would recommend it to any couple looking for a semi private escape or vacation.

Across the street from Kamaole Beach II. Although a dated condo, the kitchen had everything we needed, in our opinion the cookware and small appliances should be replaced. The king sized bed was comfortable, ceiling fans were sufficient, and the lanai overlooking tropical trees was very private. You can walk to almost everywhere you need to go restaurants, groceries, bakery, gift shops, and take long strolls along the beach. Beautiful sunset wall across the street. We loved our first visit to Kihei.

First visit to this island. We love the beaches so we stayed most often right here in South Maui. Great beaches within minutes and right across the street. Third floor unit is quiet. Lanai Looks out on trees and palms. Unit is very comfortable with anything you need, including beach chairs and boogie boards. Owner is very accessible. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. We were lucky to find this place!

We loved our stay here. The location is really perfect. A beautiful sandy beach with grass is across the street that you can walk to as well as being close to all kinds of eating places you could walk to or just a short drive down the street for grocery stores.
The Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. It did not have air conditioning but the fans and open windows were enough to keep us cool. The bed was really comfortable and I feel that's important at the end of a long day. We used the beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and small cooler everyday and it was nice to have that stuff for a day at the beach. We loved having a washer and dryer to wash beach towels everyday and a few loads of clothes.
There are quite a lot of birds in the trees on the property, which we got used to but they did give us our morning wake up call each day!
Overall I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Maui.

This condo was about as far away from the main street as possible so that you did not hear any street noise which was great. The condo is very quiet and on the top floor so it felt very private and secure. There's no AC in the unit but it comes with ceiling fans so it was totally fine for our stay which was the last two weeks in December. Might be a bit more challenging to sleep during the August and September. The unit was also well equipped with beach stuff and had an awesome front loading washer and dryer.

Perfect from initial contact through our entire stay! Easy access and check in- no key needed. Walking distance to best beaches and restaurants. Condo literally has EVERYTHING you could need from kitchen to bathroom to the books of hand written suggestions of things to do around the island. Also has beach chairs, towels, cooler, noodles on the launi. Condo itself is clearly full of love and was the perfect getaway for our honeymoon portion in Maui. Kihei is the perfect location as it is the same distance from all other sights on the island that you'll want to see. (about 20-30min drive to west/central/east Maui).

Carole and Lothar's condo is one where you feel instantly at home. The detail that went into each room when setting it up makes the stay so convenient, it's amazing. We haven't missed a single thing and the kitchen brought smiles on our faces as everything you can think of is there, making cooking easy. The location of the condo is great, a short walk down along the complex, cross the street and you are on Kam II, great for snorkeling or a quick morning swim before breakfast on the balcony ... the sunsets on the beach are stunning and definitely not to be missed. Kihei is perfect for exploring the island as well as for shopping, not to forget some really nice restaurants within walking distance.
Carole was very quick in her responses and all the information we received prior to arrival and while being there were great and we felt welcomed from the very first contact. Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

I had our first vacation with my daughter in maui and choose Carol and Lothar apartment it was the best decision.Wonderful location amazing restaurant 2 minutes away and also the beach is right there everything u can wish.The apartment nice and clean and u have everything u need.Carol and Lothar very helpful anything u need or any question you have.Highly recommend and we definitely going to come back.
