We had the most wonderful time at this property - this is our 2nd time staying here and it did not disappoint. The view was exceptional. We had a 7 year old and 4 year old and the walk to the beach and main pool is ~5mins or less. Condo is very well stocked and Lynn and Sharon were so quick to respond to any questions we had as we got ready for our trip. Thank you!

This was the perfect VRBO rental for our family of 5. 2 adults and three teenage girls. What a great place! The owners truly thought of everything. The location was ideal with incredible ocean views. The house was well stocked and so comfortable. We enjoyed the pools, long walks on the beach and of course pickle ball right outside our door! Easy communication with the Owners during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time. The condo is located right next to BBQ grill and pool with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The condo is stocked with all your cooking needs. The location of the condos is perfect right between Wailea and Kihei. We walked the path many mornings. I highly recommend staying here and will do so ourselves when back to Maui!

We had a great visit. The check in process and electronic lock worked flawlessly. The condo was clean, had a great layout, and had every utensil we could have needed, as well as a picnic kit that was great for lunch or dinner at the pool pavilion. The owners and local property manager had excellent communication. We love the Ekahi and this unit is a standout.

The four of us ladies were visiting for four days to attend our friends’ wedding. Lynn’s condo was the best. It has a stunning view with palms and ocean. The house is as clean as it looks in the photos. Very comfy and had a great kitchen for cooking. Our favorite part was doing a jigsaw puzzle at the dining table, it became a place we gathered and caught up with each other. Everyone adored the space and did not want to go. I would certainly stay again.

My family and I spent a week in Wailea in Ekahi Village 28d. We’d previously stayed in the same complex (different unit) so we knew the location would be terrific. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and the various pools in the complex offered something for everyone (a fun spot for my teenagers to play and a quiet pool for me to read my book). The renovated pool house at the main pool is nothing short of spectacular.
The unit we stayed in was extremely well appointed - every convenience for meals, morning coffee, and evening relaxation (Netflix, wifi, etc.) was there. The beds were super comfy and the place was sparkling when we arrived after a long day of travel.
The best part, though, are the amazing views from both the lanai (lanais? :). A week wasn’t long enough!

This is the fourth condo that we have stayed in at Ekahi Village and this was by far our favorite "home away from home". Lynn is an incredible owner/host and was very responsive to any questions before and during our stay. The condo itself is a gem, with incredible ocean views, updated appliances and furniture, and located steps away from one of the pools. My wife and family fell in love with this condo and plan to return many more times! Thank you Lynn for creating such a warm, clean, and beautiful home for our memorable times in Maui.

We've been staying at various condos in Ekahi Village for 14 years and I have to say, 28D is our favorite. The condo has everything you need for a great stay, plus beautiful views of the ocean. This is our second time we have stayed here and we love it. The view from the kitchen and living area is great! The kitchen is fantastic and is well organized and has everything you need. The have everything you need for the beach or pool. The owners are responsive and very helpful. We plan to return here on our next visit.

I have stayed at various properties in Ekahi Village, this one is by far one of my favorites. It's perfectly situated by a quiet pool, Pickle Ball Court with a quick walk to the main Pavillion/Beach. The home is stocked with all things you will need in the kitchen, and has one of the best views from the dining room, and main lanai and its decor is lovely! Sharon & Lynn were very responsive when I sent emails with any questions, and are very gracious hosts!

The Peabodys are the best hosts. They kept us posted with the latest traveling conditions and regulations for Hawaii months leading up to our travel date. The check-in process was super easy. All documentation provided were detailed and answered any questions that we may have on the property, amenities, or surrounding area. The property itself is amazing: quiet, super clean, upgraded, fully stocked with everything you may need to cook, lounge, play, clean, etc. And the best was the fabulous views as you walk through the front door of the vast ocean, palm trees, pool, pickle ball court, and lush garden landscape. Truly a home away from home and one of the highlights of visiting Maui, which says a lot. We would definitely rent this unit from Peabodys again. Mahalo!!

With our family of six this was truly the first vacation where I came home refreshed! The Peabody's place is a well appointed and very clean condo providing A/C, quality beds (like seriously... we now want a new bed at home), linens, well-stocked kitchen, efficient dishwasher & laundry, cooler for the beach, beach chairs etc. to make it easy to get right to relaxing and exploring. As residents of the Big Island for the past seventeen years we know what a visitor needs & this condo had it all! The morning view of Kaho'olawe & a cup of coffee before the family woke up was my time to treasure. The location of the condo is very convenient as we explored Lahaina, the road to Hana and Upcountry & Haleakala on separate days. The pools and covered areas were also very nice. As one of our sons was on crutches it was convenient to drive him to the oceanside pool and park. I highly recommend the location of the Wailea Ekahi for exploring Maui, as well as, the location of 28D in the complex! Mahalo!

We really loved our stay in 28D. The owners, Lynn and Sharon were very nice, and easy to work with. The pictures don't really do the condo justice, we thought it was cozier, and more luxurious than what the listing shows. The condo was very clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen had absolutely everything I needed, and there were little touches through out the condo that made it feel like a home. It is obvious that Lynn and Sharon love this place, and they have decorated it in a traditional Hawaiian style, with unique, nice artwork, some of which I think is by local artists. The furniture is comfortable, and the beds were excellent, with high quality, very clean linens. The owners leave a nice welcome gift, and had fancy hand-made Maui soap in the bathrooms. Everything in the condo was in good working order, including the AC, which we really needed in August. They also provide a very thorough notebook full of instructions about how everything works in the condo, and tons of recommendations for attractions and restaurants. The rental process was simple, and they answered every one of my many questions promptly. I was given a discount for paying with a personal check, rather than credit card. Normally I wouldn't mail a total stranger a check, but the vibe I got from both owners was so good, I made an exception, and I'm happy I did. The only improvements I would suggest would be to put longer twin beds in the second bedroom, and add a door from the toilet/shower area to the master bedroom. It is around the corner for privacy, but I still much prefer a door. I would definitely stay here again, and have already started recommending it to people. The Ekahi Village itself is much nicer than I though it would be. They have 3 small "quiet" pools, and a very nice main pool, right on the ocean, with private direct beach access. The bathrooms, dining areas, BBQ, fridge space, fresh drinking water, ice machine, kitchen, and loungers were all MUCH nicer than what I usually see at condo complexes. The grounds and facilities were clean, and well maintained, by polite, friendly staff.

My family and I just returned home after a wonderful stay at Lynn and Sharon's condo. From the moment we arrived we were thrilled that we had found this fabulous piece of paradise! The location was perfect for us! Upon stepping in the home, we were floored by the awesome view! The large picture window was so nice, and we felt like this condo was special, as we didn't see that the others had this nice feature. We enjoyed many breakfasts and sunsets enjoying the lanai's (there were three, by the way) and it was my ritual to go running every morning and then eat my breakfast with a view. Heaven for sure! The beach was a very short walk and in my opinion, this condo is on the best stretch of beach on Maui. That is something that is very important to me, and this vacation rental exceeded by expectations! Close to shopping and would be easy to walk to one of the hotels close by for a nice dinner or cocktail. As for the condo, it was immaculate! I love the Hawaii tradition of no shoes in the house. The carpet felt so clean to me! We do this at home, so I really appreciate that. The condo has been completely updated and the kitchen was so lovely and functional. I loved the green dishes also. :) The bathrooms were so fabulous. We loved the showers and the nice Maui Soap Company soap that they left for us. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets and pillows were perfect. We all slept so well! I love that the owners left a big binder with things to do and restaurant recommendations . I thumbed through it a lot and we tried many of the things they suggested! What a great idea!
We had such a great vacation and although our next trip probably won't be with our kids and won't need two bedrooms, we would still love to stay here. It was truly one of our favorite vacation spots.

My family very much enjoyed our stay in the Peabody's condo - mahalo! We love Ekahi Village and this is the best condo we've stayed at, by far. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen is amazing - I wish I had seen it before we remodeled ours. The entire condo is very well-appointed: lots of books, nature guides, towels, soaps. It had everything we needed. Special thanks for the beach supplies - chairs, umbrellas.
There are wonderful views from the balconies. The beach is a short walk away. Some of the best snorkeling of our trip was off Ulua beach. The kids loved the pool by the ocean.
We hope to return someday to revisit memories and create new ones. Thank you!

The walk to the beautiful beach is easy and lovely. Communications with the Peabodys was very prompt. If we ever make it back to Maui we would certainly consider staying here again. My stay at the Peabody's condo was a visit to Paradise. The view from every room and deck is stunning. The unit has been remodeled and you think you are walking into a brand new unit.
The grounds are meticulously maintained with grass everywhere and the maturity of the landscaping is truly wonderful. There is a pool for every lifestyle....from the quiet to the active. If you are a birder like me you will be constantly delighted with the variety of species outside you windows.
While eating my breakfast that first morning I spotted the Humpback whales jumping in the bay. The next morning it got even better, with Momma & Baby showing their stuff. The newborn calf was continuously jumping and when not jumping was slapping the water with its tale. Lots of happy activity.
The beach access is direct and allows you to walk the beach for miles either way or just romp in the surf. Common areas provide space for your outdoor eating or entertaining friends.
I took this Maui visit for golf and found many courses nearby. As a photographer many photo opportunities were ever present. All of the key tourist stops were all within a day's round trip.
Can't wait to go back!

This is our 4th stay in this complex, but this was our favorite condo. We cannot say enough about how beautiful and updated it is. We were in Maui for a heat wave but condo stayed cool the whole visit. Lynn was timely in all correspondence. Our large family of 6 was very comfortable here, and our extended family in condos nearby were jealous of our unit. Master bed was very comfortable...We would book again!

We had an amazing time and this condo really was perfect for us. The kitchen and main area was great to have multiple people cooking and hanging out. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great sizes. The view from the porches were just beautiful! Perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets! The beach and pool were spectacular and just a short walk. We had a great vacation and loved our stay at Ekahi 28D. The owners had great communication and they go above and beyond to make it the best vacation possible. The condo has a great resource book of things to do and try. The unit was clean, updated and had many special touches. The description was accurate and their were no surprises. If we have the opportunity to come back again we would like to stay here again. We also loved the location on the southern part of the island with easy access to great beaches and fun activities.
