This condo is terrific -- it's well supplied with beach gear and the owner is wonderfully communicative and accommodating. The two pools are the biggest and nicest we've seen in Hawaii and the location can't be beat. The proximity to the beach is amazing. The ONLY drawback is that the two tennis courts prohibit pickle-ball -- if tenants don't like the noise, maybe limit the hours of play. Many families love pickleball and it's really disappointing to not be allowed to play on the courts.

This condo located in Kihei is just across the street from beautiful beaches with stunning sunset views. It is expertly decorated and fully appointed for all of your needs. The tropical pool is a super short walk over a picturesque bridge and through some gorgeous flowering bushes. The pool and hot tub were uncrowded, incredibly clean, the perfect temperature, and a highlight of our trip. Communication was easy and super positive. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens for all four of us. I would stay here again, and again! Super close to Wailea and an easy drive to Lahaina. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. However, we stocked up at Costco after leaving the airport before driving to the condo. I would send every single person I know who is planning a trip to Maui to this condo. One tip is that if you are planning to see sunset at Haleakala, I would leave 2 1/2 hours early. The guidebooks say leave two hours early and Google said one hour and 20 minutes. We left two hours early and the sky started turning colors as we drove the last third of the mountain. If I had it to do it over again, I would leave 2 1/2 hours early so that we arrived at the summit in pitch black and shot every moment of the sky changing from the summit. another highlight of our trip was participating in the visitor paddle with a Kihei Canoe Club. For only $40 a person we had a two hour experience on an outrigger canoe. Unbelievable!

This property was very much as expected from the online listing and description. I thought it might be a bit tight for us, but it was roomier than expected. Assigned parking space close to condo and easy access was a huge plus upon arrival and throughout our stay.
We intended to grill outside (the bbq's met with my husband's expert approval) but were too busy doing things in South Maui:>) There are, indeed, beaches you can walk to from this complex and ice chests, blue ice, umbrellas and beach chairs are all organized in the utility room. So handy! It's also a short shot down to Wailea for all the resorts, beaches and shopping there.
This condo has everything you need for six people and it bears mentioning that the couch bed is the really nice new kind with no bars, no squeaking and a very comfortable mattress. It's comfortable as a couch as well. Be aware that there are no consumables in this condo beyond dish soap, dish washer pods and laundry soap. There are some tiny bars of soap and hand sanitizer. You will need to bring/buy everything else...notably cooking oil and ziplock bags.
Jamie, the owner, is a dream to work with...responsive, helpful and thoughtful. His recommendations were spot on! We were also contacted by the management company while we were there and they were great as well. Would recommend and absolutely stay again.
This was a great base for exploring the southernmost snorkeling beach all the way up to Lahaina and lots of what you want to do is nearby in Kihei and Wailea. No negatives beyond having to buy some kitchen consumables (we had plenty of toiletries) and an old dishwasher.

Jamie is an excellent host. Very responsive and friendly. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. It was well stocked with beach essentials like chairs, umbrellas, toys, boogie boards, etc. There were plenty of towels and plenty of places to hang them to dry. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as dishes, pots and pans, etc. We tend to cook quite a bit while on vacation. The BBQ/grill facilities are also very good and convenient. This is the second time we have stayed at Maui Kamaole and we will definitely be back. It is our favorite place to stay in Kihei, close to many beaches, restaurants and shops. I have nothing but good things to say about our time at this condo!

This was our first time staying at Maui Kamaole. Jamie's unit was so nice. Well taken care of, but also laid back (not super fancy, which as a family with young kids we love - less stuff to break!). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, soap etc. We really liked the lanai, hidden in the palms. When booking, I wasn't sure about being off the beach, as we like to be able to walk there, but our young kids were able to make it just fine, and it's really nice being off the main road. The unit was breezy enough that we never needed to use the A/C.

Nice spacious property located in Kihei close to restaurants and local beaches. The property was as advertised, easy to find and easy check-in and check-out process. The condo was well stocked with everything one could need while on vacation. Felt like home away from home. The kitchen dishes and pots and pans were not very well cleaned and we found them with food residues. We simply washed and cleaned whatever we needed. Coffee packs were provided that were adequate for our stay. Beach amenities such as towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards were a big plus and made our stay that much more enjoyable.

We could not be happier with our experience at Jamie’s condo. It was the perfect space for two couples, a teen and a 3 year old. What a wonderful memory! My mother’s husband passed away last fall, and this was her 1st plane ride in 40 years, and alone. We were pleasantly surprised here, everything was exactly like the photos and better. The visitors we met at the jacuzzi each day from Calgary all returned here Year after year, and were so kind to give us tips from years of experience on Maui! Jamie responded so quickly & kindly. There are 5 of us (2 adults & three kids) and we had plenty of room in the condo. There are also plenty of beach supplies & toys to use! And the pool was so close to the unit that it made it a convenient thing to do. Just wish there were less pool rules, but I know that’s not a reflection on the unit or the owner, but the ownership board.

We booked this property for a family get together (My sister and her teenage son and me with two younger kids). The space was large, accommodating, and perfect for our group. The property itself was beautiful with gorgeous, relaxing pools, but the condo itself was perfect! The beds are comfy, the kitchen made shopping and cooking easy, and the loft style gave us privacy where we all felt included. From the initial booking, the owner reached out and we chatted. He was such a nice person who gave us lots of tips for our trip! I would definitely recommend this location to a friend and hope to stay here again in the future!

Jamie's condo was super comfortable and we loved having space to spread out and relax! The condo is very well kept and surprisingly large. The kitchen is well stocked with oil, spices, etc and the beds/furniture are GREAT. Everything is very clean and well cared for. Although there is AC, I don't know why one would need it as the nights cooled off beautifully and the fans always sufficed. Jamie was always super responsive, and he and the management company were on it when I requested info re: the products used by pest control service that had visited the complex/condo the day of our arrival. We have a toddler who spends a lot of time on the ground/near baseboards, so we were concerned about pesticide exposure but we were reassured it was nontoxic and sent a list of products used by the end of the next business day.

Jamie's place is amazing! It is exactly as described and as seen in the photos, except with some wonderful updates! :-) He has all new mattresses (very comfy!) with new bedding, a very nice new recliner and sleeper sofa (also comfy!) in the living room, and some stunning new artwork! His place is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and worked out perfectly for my family.
The property is amazing - so beautiful and very well cared for. We loved the pool with the waterfall and even grilled out for lunch one day.
Jamie has everything needed for a visit to the beach - which is a short walk directly across the street below! We used the beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels provided. The balconies were also wonderful, providing you with an escape to the outdoors - with a fantastic view above the palm trees off of the living room.
Check out Blue Water Rafting for a trip to Molokini that departs from the boat launch across the street. We also loved the Old Lahaina Luau! The drive to Hana is amazing; but, I'd recommend returning the same way you got there. (The drive around on the other side is not the paved road that you arrive on.....)

This space was perfect for our family of 5, very close to the pool, walking distance to the beach. There were lots of beach and pool toys, floaties, coolers, flippers, noodles, etc. etc.
The kids liked the beach, but loved the pool. There are two pools at this location, but this condo was located right beside the good pool, very tropical feeling and well maintained. Pool doesn't open until 9am and closes by 9pm though, which we wished would have been earlier and later.

We (4 adults and one teenager) recently stayed at Jamie’s lovely condo for 7 nights. I’ve stayed at this complex a few times before, so I knew I’d love the location and beautiful property, but this was my first stay in this unit. Everything about the place was top-notch — well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, lots of extra sheets and blankets for beds, tons of beach equipment, large beach towels, proximity to a gorgeous tropical pool, and tasteful decor. This spacious rental is situated in the perfect spot within the beautifully landscaped complex, close to parking area and footsteps from the pool. It technically is a walkable distance (10-15min) to the kamaole iii beach, but with 2 kids and beach gear we ended up driving the 3 minutes instead. Our family of 4 had the best stay, the place was so big, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were so spacious! There were 3 lanais to sit and drink coffee or eat a snack outside surrounded by the tropical foliage. All 3 beds had the most comfortable mattresses, plenty of bath towels and in-unit laundry! Everything was updated and SUPER CLEAN. The owner graciously provided a safe for storing valuables, beach items (beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc) and complimentary starter necessities (dishwasher tabs, laundry soap, paper towels and TP). The staff of the complex and the neighboring tenants were also friendly and inviting. We always stay in/around the Kihei area, and next time we stay on Maui we are definitely booking this exact same rental again. It exceeded every expectation we had! It was perfect! Mahalo for a great stay!! Can't wait to book again!

After several days of combing through condo listings we happened on Jamie's place and how lucky we were to find it. It's a lovely, spacious condo in a perfect setting near the best pool on the property and within a reasonable walking distance to at least one beach and a drink or meal if we so chose. (We drove but only because we were carrying gear.) Everything we could have needed was provided at the condo and it was great having such a selection of chairs, umbrellas and toys etc. to take to the beach. Great condo and stay in Kihei. Unit is in building K, but follow signs towards building F (Fern) if arriving on check in day after office hours. Short 10 min walk downhill to the beach. We drove down when bringing beach items from the unit including beach chairs, sand toys, and cooler. Kids loved the pool on property. Communication and stay were good all around. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

This was a beautiful condo and great location for our visit. We loved having beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and a fully equipped kitchen. We didn’t stay inside the condo too much as we were out exploring, but when we were there it had everything we needed. The view from the lanai was somewhat blocked by pretty palm trees, but it was still fun to sit out there for breakfast. The pool is super close too! Overall, we had a great stay at this condo and would definitely return!

We are a family of five from NZ and have just had a a wonderful stay at Jamie's Condo.
The place if very homey, carpeted and filled with everything you need. It isn't luxurious high spec or plush, but who needs that when they are out at the beach all day.
The place is quiet and private and provides everything you need for a long stay. We were able to cook and bbq, no problem. EVERYTHING was provided, even down to the plastic left over boxes ! We were able to wash clothes along the way. The tropical pool and hot tub, is seconds from the condo and the other main pool is about four minute walk.
The beds are comfortable and enabled some great nights sleep. We didn't really need the A/C to much as the fans kept us cool enough.
The condo is at the back end of the complex, so allow a 4-5 mins walk just to get onto the road, if walking. We were able to walk (10mins) along the beach and down to some local eating places. We had a hired car but you can easily walk to many local beaches including Kam I, II and III, which were lovely. We drove to Wailea's main beach a few times as we loved the snorkelling there and turtles were always seen, which was fantastic.
We loved this area of Kihea bordering Wailea. Recommend the fish market for dinner in South Kihea and also Five Palms across the road, which offers happy hour food and drinks all evening at the back bar area (you still get the view!) which is perfect for kids.

This is an ideal unit in this lush and well-maintained condo development. Jamie's place is beautifully decorated and immaculate, with many extra touches and plenty of kitchen tools, and you will quickly feel at home here. We ate on the lanai every morning and sat out there every night, and felt like we were in our own private garden. There are beach chairs and a couple of coolers and beach umbrella in the unit that we used often. Plus, Jamie is very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. You will love this place--I wish we were still there!

We found the condo just as we expected from the listing and the reviews. It was located close to restaurants, shopping, and best beaches but away from traffic and noise of the main street. Beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. Our host was very accommodating as we arrived on Christmas day when staff was not present and then requested an extension of the check-out time so we had a base from which to enjoy the area before our departure for a late flight. We appreciated the quiet hours restriction as we were near the pool which remained well-used into the evenings. The parking near the condo was convenient and included in the rental cost, and the provision of the beach chairs, towels, and coolers further contained our expenses. Were we a family that returns to the same location to vacation we would not look further for accommodations that meet our needs - 3 adults.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was comfortable for our family of 4. I would recommend the owner consider stocking a few items in the condo, especially a small amount of coffee. Arriving on a late flight, it would have been nice to brew a cup of coffee upon waking up rather than having to run out the door for a cup of joe. Minor detail for sure. Property was clean, quiet, and full of friendly faces. Pool rules were a little strict, but did not affect me. Management was diligent and I observed them asking young children to observe posted rules.
Overall a great stay in a perfect location. I would recommend without hesitation.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay! The location of the condo in proximity to the better beaches was perfect - about a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches. Yet, far enough away from the traffic of the main street to be super quiet and relaxing when you are at the condo. The complex was beautiful and the condo was super comfortable and set up well. We went with our 2 kids - 17 and 19 and everyone was happy with the space! Jamie, the owner, was super responsive and gave great guidance on different things to do in the area. If we go back to Maui we already know where we will be staying!

The pictures really doesn't do this place justice. It's a great condo with loads of space. It's clean and has all the things you need like beach towels, beach chairs and a fully stocked kitchen (we loved having simple items like paper towel and laundry powder). The balcony got loads of sunshine and was lovely sitting out there with the palm trees. The pools onsite were great, we enjoyed both of them for different reasons. Parking was close to the condo and the whole complex and condo felt safe and secure (great locks, I loved the key coded entry and security guards on site)! Restaurants nearby were yum and the beach just at the entrance to the complex were divine! Jamie was an incredible host with fantastic communication. He answered every question in detail and did his best to accommodate our every request making this a very easy place to stay! We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jamie.

This is the sixth year we’ve been back to K205 in Maui Kamaole. We ended up here by chance after looking at hotels in Wailea, Ka’anapili, Lahaina, etc, and we finally decided to go the condo route. We wanted to be able to cook for ourselves, and have a more “home-like” stay, and save a few $$ for activities. Wow, did we luck out!
First of all, Maui Kamaole (imho) is the nicest condo complex in Kihei, right on the Wailea border. Because of the layout of the units, there is a much greater degree of privacy than can be had in all the other more traditional building layouts. And the K block is particularly private. We can lay out on the beautiful main lanai and feel like we’re all alone out there. While not an ocean view, the view from K205 is absolutely beautiful.
Surrounded by thick palm trees and flowering plants, it looks over the tropical pool, which is the nicest pool on the property. We saved a LOT of money by not insisting on an ocean view. After all, we spend most of our days on the water anyway. The owners have clearly put a lot of time into making this a comfortable home. Nice thick towels, for the beach and the home, The memory foam mattress toppers are a nice touch. Even a stereo with lots of Hawaiian music CD’s! Everything we could need is here, including a blender, coffeemaker, toaster, pots and pans, utensils, dishwasher. There’s even floaty pool toys for the pool. The marble master shower and bench are exquisite!
One year, we came with another couple, and had the downstairs bedroom converted to a king bed, instead of twins. Nice option!
The Maui Kamaole location is ideal, and it's directly across the street from the Kihei boat ramp, so when we SCUBA dive (Ed Robinson's), we can leave and return from the bottom of our driveway! There’s AC in the bedrooms and living room, but honestly, at night, if you open both the big screen doors, a wonderful guava-scented breeze blows through and cools the place nicely. Especially with the large ceiling fans running.
We prefer Kihei to other Maui locations because South Maui has the best beaches on Maui, and there tends to be less tourists (depending on the season), it’s very close to shopping in Kihei, and all the exquisite beaches of South Maui, Wailea, Makena, Big Beach State Park. We looked at other condo’s in the area, but after coming back year after year, we love this unit, and the owner is responsive and nice to deal with.

I have been staying at this condo every year since 2004. Each time we are there for about 17 days. It is so wonderful to come back to what we call our hawaiian home away from home. Where everything is familiar and well maintained. The condo is clean and comfortable with a large lanai off the living area, one smaller/private lanai off the master bedroom. And a small balcony in the guest room with a view of Haleakala Crater. I noticed new flat screen tvs in the main living room and in the master bedroom, but who watches tv in paradise. The grounds are beautiful, tropical and well maintained. Just what you would expect in Maui. The condo is private and in close proximity to the upper pool & hot tub. This place hold so many wonder and fun memories for me and my friends. So in 2012, I took my mom on a dream vacation to my slice of heaven on earth. I wanted her to see and experience this amazing place, my hawaiian home away from home. She had the time of her life. We both love waking up to the tropical birds singing, every morning as the sun peaks over Haleakala Crater. It's amazing. Something I cherish and look forward to each time.
