The location could not be better. Stores were extremely close by so you can get groceries (Waikiki Market on the next corner) and toiletries (Target down the block) and the food choices were enormous! We were able to meet family members that were staying in nearby hotels who could not relax like we did. My girls loved the balcony, staying there for their alone time and the living room was just big enough for all of us. The free parking also helped us, freeing us from costly tours and allowing us to have some freedom of movement but there were some drawbacks since one neighbor purposely parked in a location that made it difficult to move around in and out of the garage. Overall, a great trip and we would stay again if we could.up with other fahotels.

Parking is scary with big vehicle, but it was so nice to have. Everything is close enough without one. The property was nice. We had two couples and it was comfortable. Washer/Dryer and everything you need. Beach towels, chairs, toys we didn't need and a cooler.
The view from the pool upstairs is awesome. The canal is also great. All and all this is a great, convenient place to stay. I love having a balcony to sit at night and enjoy the beauty. Thank you for the use of this property.

Access was seamless. Keys, parking and all instruction were perfect.
This apt is central to Waikiki Beach and the International Market, hotel resorts, tons of cafes, acai, and awesome restaurants. Also across from the canal which was great for an early morning walk/run.
The apartment was furnished well with all of the essentials and MORE. Beds were comfy, bathrooms clean, hot water, and well stocked with towels and extra sheets and blankets if necessary. Even had an inflatable bed.

The condo is in a great location, just a block from the International Market Place and other restaurants and shops. It is a corner unit on the 15th floor with nice views. A parking space is included, which was a big plus for us. Unlike other condos that we have stayed at, it does not include any bath soap, shampoo or conditioner. There were some cockroaches in the kitchen, but it was just a minor nuisance. We would stay here again.

Jane was a wonderful host from day 1! She is very prompt in responding to notifications and being ultra flexible to last minute requests. We had a wonderful 8 day stay in Oahu and the location and amenities can’t be beat. Within walking distance to shopping, dining, and activities. The unit had a full kitchen which was very convenient to cook meals for my son with food allergies. The view from the balcony was incredible and having a washer/dryer in unit was very convenient. Unit also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys which we made use of daily. We had some issues with cockroaches in the unit, but that is island life and expected but had to use raid/set traps to mange that situation. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and host.

My daughter and son in law live a couple blocks from this property. We were in town for the week for their wedding along with about 30 other guests from the mainland who had stayed in various rental properties as well. Everyone was jealous of ours! Location, cleanliness, amenities, space- it has it all. Was perfect. Would definitely stay there again!

The property had obviously been remodeled recently. It was very clean and the washer, dryer, dishwasher and refrigerator appeared for be very new. We didn't cook meals at the property, but it seemed adequately equipped to handle meal prep.
Couple suggestions: The couch (futon) didn't sit comfortably, mattresses could have been more comfortable and we did kill a few roaches. There were bug traps placed in the kitchen. I would imagine bugs are a constant issue in Hawaii.

The listing was far more impressive than the actual place. There weren’t any additional extras. This is my seventh trip and usually there is a welcome packet with directions and places to go maybe a chocolate or a postcard or something extra. This is very basic not a big huge welcome.
The couch, although lovely is not comfortable to sit, and if you have adults, only 2 to 3 could sit on the couch and the other family members might be sitting on the barstool. It’s a very nice modern couch certainly not designed for comfort or family.
The bathroom, shower curtain and towel rack were held together with masking tape. I was told that they were unaware, but it was very evident that the masking tape had been there for quite some time the vanity above the toilet was falling off its hinges.
There were no instructions on how to run the master bath shower all although when I inquired, she did indicate that it was a little tricky. It would’ve been nice for that additional customer service to let someone know how to run the shower and that there’s a special way to do that.
In the second bedroom, there’s like a mini chest of drawers that is super small not sure why they didn’t put a bigger one in there. They could’ve put one the same width and just added one with more heights and more drawers that would’ve accommodated that would’ve been super nice.
The air conditioner in the second bedroom without the bathroom rattles all night long and there is some kind of air leak… hot. Won’t stay

What an amazing stay! Location is perfect with shopping just a few minutes walk. Apartment was exactly what we needed as we were a group of 4. Everything you need is there! Best things about the condo:
1. Very easy walk to various restaurants, shopping (cheap to upscale stores), major tourist attractions like Waikiki Beach to name a few.
2. Beautiful views of the canal, the hills, even part of Diamond Head Crater from the 2 bedrooms & balcony.
3. Very clean.
4. Well-equipped kitchen although we did not cook by choice. It also has a good-sized & efficient washer & dryer even though its the stackable one. We had everything we needed.
5. Free parking in a covered garage in same building.
6. Size was perfect for the 3 of us (all adults) but it can accommodate up to 5-6 persons (somewhat tightly).
7. Newly renovated/updated.
8. Has AC & ceiling fans to keep unit comfortable if needed.
9. Responsive owners; we asked for good places to get groceries and good eats which they sent.
Cons: My husband & I used the BR w/ ensuite bath. We found the mattress to be not that comfortable; not sure if its due to age/old mattress (?) . My sister who was in the front room had no complaint on the mattress.
Traffic noise can be a nuisance only if you open the windows in the back BR w/ ensuite bath. It did not bother us at night; kept windows shut.
Tight space in parking garage but not surprised by it being in the city center. We were glad we had free parking.

Our family flew in from the Mainland and Maui for just a few days for a family funeral, and Jane's unit was perfect for our needs. It was very quiet, clean, and very well-equipped and furnished. And having on-site parking such a bonus! The morning view of the Ala Wai and inland valleys was a spectacular way to greet the day, and we enjoyed having a cup of coffee on the lanai while watching Honolulu begin to "wake up."

This condo is very cute and cozy, and has an amazing view. However - there were several roaches in the kitchen.. the AC unit in the Main Bedroom was EXTREMELY loud (rattling/ wind howling when it was not on), the windows are shutter plate glass windows and all the sounds comes into the condo.. Also, it is a non smoking building but the hallways/garage REEKED of cigarette smoke. It was within walking distance of the beach, shopping, and many resturants which was nice. Just did not get much rest due to the constant traffic and ambulances driving by all night.

Firstly, we commend Jane for being such a wonderful and empathetic host. She was so generous and kind when we had a flight cancelation and time change.
The condo was perfectly located in Waikiki. The corner unit had excellent outdoor space for the three of us. The canal, golf course, Diamondhead and mountain views were spectacular and even more so with an abundance of rainbows.
All the appliances worked well. There was dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, liquid hand soap, paper towels, tin foil, plastic wrap, and more to use for our entire stay. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with good pots and frying pans. There was a generous amount of dishes.
The three A/C units worked well at night. They were not needed in the daytime as there was excellent airflow when the sliders and windows were open. The triple glazing helped keep the condo quiet at night.
The beds were soft and comfy and the bathrooms were spotless.
The shared rooftop space had excellent seating, a heated pool, and several BBQs with all the utensils needed to make a great meal. There was some ocean views as well as mountain views.
Our three weeks in Jane's condo went by way to fast! When we return to Waikiki, we hope to rent Jane's place again.

This is a very nice condo located in Walkiki. It overlooks the canal and is a short walk to the ocean. There is parking and buses are within walking distance. The unit had all appliances, dishes and utensils that we needed. There are chairs, towels and a cooler for a trip to the beach. The top of the building is great. The views are great, there is a pool, chairs and bbq’s. There was an issue with the intercom system but Jane had emailed us and had her son meet us there when we arrived to facilitate our entry. Very good service. We would stay here again.

The condo at first glace is nice. We booked in March for a September stay. A day or 2 before check-inn, host messaged me that they have roaches in the building. 😔When we arrived, indeed we saw a few of them in the kitchen sink and so many ants around the sink. We kept all our things in the luggages closed …. Kept all the foid( even chips) in the fridge.. The pool was closed… Having a pool was one of our criterias so we were disappointed. The place needs some love. Good curtains are needed in the bedroom facing the balcony, as light goes trough at 6am. Also it gets so hot in room. The air conditioning are old and very noisy. Two of the beach chairs are rusted and broken. Besides this, the place is very well located. Less then 10 min walk to Waikiki beach. Amazing view from the balcony. Wonderful terrace on roof with BBQ, fire pit… place is well equipped with towels, beach towels, cooler, dishes. Beds are comfortable.

Everything I expected. The location is good. The views are beautiful. Although there is air conditioning the breeze, even in August, felt perfect. Our family of four enjoyed the large patio. The apartment is very nice, clean and is as described. It had everything we needed, including beach chairs and umbrella. The building and garage are not the nicest, but we felt safe. Jane was great to communicate with and warned us there was some construction, which didn’t end up impacting us. The futon sofa/bed is more comfortable than it looks. Starter supplies were adequately stocked. I would recommend.

Trying to access the property was a nightmare. We had a rental car, so upon arrival the code to the parking garage was not working. Trying to use the intercom to get a hold of security was broken. We called the number on the sign, only for no one to answer at the security office. Finally, the car behind us got out and let us use their code to get in.
Once we finally got into the condo, it was just like the pictures. They have beach chairs, towels, umbrella, even snorkeling gear.
The next morning we went back to the rental car to find the car across from us had a window broken out and glass everywhere. I called and reported it to security. It wasn’t until the next day the glass was picked up and two days the window of the car got taped and covered. Don’t leave anything in your car at this place! .
Everything is under construction)which was stated prior to booking) so you may have days or times where water is shut off, elevator is shut off, etc..
I don’t like giving a negative rating, because the condo itself was beautiful and as expected. It was the building in which the condo was in that was poor and unsafe.

The property is close enough to walk almost anywhere you would need to go, and the parking space makes getting anywhere else easy as well. Our son especially liked the pool, which made it easy for him to swim without fighting the crowds at Waikiki beach.

The building is undergoing some renovation, especially in the lobby which was slightly inconvenient. The pool was closed. It was supposed to be open by the time we stayed, but opening had been delayed. Not the fault of the owner, but still a big disappointment. Check availability of pool before you stay.
The condo itself has been updated and was comfortable.

The property was nice and convenient but the proximity to Ala Wai Blvd and the constant sirens from Police, EMS was very disturbing. Also the roof top pool and deck was closed the our entire trip so we could not enjoy the BBQ grills and the pool and view of Waikiki beach. Would have been nice to know this up front that this was not going to be available.

We enjoyed our stay and really liked the condo. We appreciated all the amenities, especially the washer and dryer. Jane was wonderful to work with. Kelly, in the lobby was most helpful on a couple ocassions. Location was a block from the International Market and a couple blocks from Waikiki beach. There was construction going on as it looks like a new building is going up down the street. It did not interfere with our travel. Really enjoyed watching the fireworks on New Years Eve from the top of the building with other guests and residents. We would stay here again.

First visit to Hawaii and first using VRBO. Both were wonderful experiences. Jane's was very quick to answer my many questions and to accommodate us in a condo with the amenities we were looking for. I’ll start off by validating most of the other reviews; the place was nice, clean, and well apportioned. Beds were comfortable, 2 TV’s with decent cable, the grills on the roof worked well and had utensils, the pool was smaller but clean and fun, plenty of towels, and of course, inflatables and a cooler! Check in is a breeze, building is a bit dated (1974), but well kept with 24 hr security at the front desk. Jane was responsive and very pleasant (met her and her husband), and in a great location. The only negative we had were some nightly critters that came out in the kitchen. I wouldn’t say there was an infestation, but I was a little uncomfortable a couple times that we’d bring home some unwelcome guests. Kitchen was the Hot Spot, and I went and bought some glue traps to keep a lid on things. For the record, I work construction in Chicago, so I’ve been in some pretty unsavory places and tend to blow most things off, so we weren’t being hysterical, but there were a few more running around then I would have liked. In Jane’s defense, it seemed like work was taking place on another unit, which doesn’t help, and the July building exterminator shows on the first Thursday of the month - this year, it was was the 4th, so I guess no one showed. Few other info only points; parking garage is 6-0 and tight, so avoid large SUV’s; Food Pantry was torn down, so we shopped at Food Land by King and H1; there was a little street noise, but you’re in the heart of Waikiki, not sure what some people expected, and the windows were fine.

Lovely modern condo just a short walk from beaches, restaurants and shopping Waikiki. Jane has thought of everything, including all that you need for a day at the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels). From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left we felt at home. Great central location with fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Perfect for young families. Would be even better with black out curtains - unless of course you’re a fan of early wake ups!

Jane’s condo was perfect! Just the right size for 2 couples with separate bathrooms. Condo was very clean and beds were comfortable also had full kitchen with laundry. The location was great, within walking distance to all restaurants, shops and Waikiki beach as well as the Food Pantry grocery store was a 2 minute walk away. Gorgeous view of the canal and city. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks Jane! :)

The owner was great to deal with through booking and our time at the place. We were their during hurricane lane and the owners dropped off flashlights and a lantern for us in case power went out. The location was perfect as it's so close to Waikiki and downtown. Quick access to the highway and major routes. Would definitely book again

It's clear this condo was recently renovated. Compact but very nice kitchen. Bathrooms very nice. Located with a view of the canal and part of the Diamond Head crater. Balcony was a great place for morning coffee and since it faced east, it was pleasant in the afternoon as it was shaded. As some others have noted, the one road has a fair bit of traffic at certain times of the day but with the AC on at night, the condo was very quiet. If in Honolulu again, I would stay here again. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach!

Very nice and clean condo, 5 min walk to the waikiki beach. Beach chairs, bogeyboard and beach towels included. I highly recommend it !

Thank you, Jane, for providing an affordable, spotless, and beautiful base of operation for our stay on Oahu. We walked to the beach, shopping, and Food Pantry was just down the block for all our grocery needs.
The views from the balcony and rooftop are amazing. This condo had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This condo is perfect for anyone, including three 70 year-old life-long friends in HI to celebrate a birthday. Great location just a few walkable blocks from Waikiki beaches and shops. Well-supplied with everything we needed. Comfy, roomy, great balcony with a peek of an ocean view in one direction, Diamond Head in another, mountains in another. Loved watching the rowing teams in the canal in the evenings. Air conditioning in every room. Quiet building (could hear lots of sirens at night, though, because of the busy street 15 floors below, but that was a minor inconvenience. Bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper and you're good!) Safe location and building, even a security guard in the lobby. Condo has its own parking stall. Nice pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ on the building's top floor for residents. Owner Jane went above and beyond helping us hook up with our overseas guest when we lost her at the airport and making sure we were settled in. This condo is everything it's advertised to be. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all our friends.
