Communication was great. The beach club was amazing for lazy days. The pool was also convenient but we did not spend much time there. It’s a great location to get around the Big Island. We visited Alaska Falls, the Waipio Valley, the Volcano National Park, the Hōnaunau National Historical Site, the Green Sand Beach, and spent time in Hilo and Kailua Kona. Could not have asked for a better view at sunset. If I could rate this unit and location 10/10 I would. We will look to book here again on our next trip to the big island.

We had an excellent experience staying in this condo. It’s beautifully maintained, tastefully decorated, and has a welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like home right away.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the living area was both cozy and modern.One of the best parts is the location — walking distance to the beach and fish ponds and quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. Communication with Jason was great!I didn’t want to knock down the stars bc the place is so great, only complaints (washing machine has a bad smell right when you walk in, garbage disposal has same type smell and it takes a while for rooms to cool down in the evening). The property was immaculate and the views are phenomenal. From the lanai you have a great view of the sunset, or you can walk down behind the 15th golf green of Mauna Lani's South Course and get some wonderful photos each evening. There is plenty of snorkeling equipment in the condo and a hidden gem for snorkeling is located behind Mauna Lani's 15th tee box, just a few hundred feet away from the condo. There is an abundance of marine life in the shallows and we saw yellow tangs, parrotfish, triggerfish, butterflyfish, and moorish idols, all within 20 feet of the shore. Further out in the cove it drops off to about 25 feet in depth and we were able to swim at a safe distance with several green sea turtles on a calm morning.This is a black sand / rocky type of beach entry so you will want to wear reef shoes or snorkeling booties for foot protection. The Mauna Lani Beach Club has a beautiful sandy beach and is a short walk for swimming and snorkeling.From the condo it is a 2-hour drive across Saddle Road to Volcanoes National Park, 20 minutes up to the town of Waimea for some great food (try the Fish and the Hog or Underground Pizza), 35 minutes to Kona International Airport, and 5-10 minutes for shopping and dining in either Mauna Lani, Queens Marketplace or the Kings Shops in Waikoloa.Jason was great and made the check-in process extremely easy.We would definitely come back again and we already miss the island breeze, turquoise waters and palm trees of the Big Island.

This was our 3rd visit to the Big Island, having previously stayed in Waikoloa Village and at another home within the Mauna Lani Resort. We were not converts to the Big Island until this visit, staying at the Coastal Dreams villa. The location is next level - unobstructed views of the ocean/sunsets, short walk to the Mauna Lani snorkel beach and closest building to the Mauna Lani Point pool. There is also a spectacular snorkel opportunity off of the golf course.We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I traveled with my 80year old parents who were very comfortable in this condo. The space plan of the condo is very efficient - bedrooms are a nice size and it was perfect for our 3 person party. The kitchen is basic and small but worked well for us. I was worried that it would not be cool enough as the AC would not go below 72 degrees but guess what? That was plenty cool for us. While we brought our own, there is plenty of snorkel equipment and beach/pool supplies in the storage unit that comes with the condo. Bring your own pillow if you are a sensitive sleeper (like me). The property management company was very quick to respond to one minor issue with one of the bathrooms and hopefully by the time this review is published, the noise from the dryer has been fixed.Otherwise, enjoy the heck out of this condo. When we return to the island, we will not doubt book this location again. It was absolutely fantastic.

The property was perfect. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The location is on a golf hole overlooking the ocean. You can not access the ocean from there but the beach is a 3 min drive. Everything is a drive away so you do have to grocery shop or drive for food. The property is clean, well stocked and quiet.

From the moment we walked in, the kids said "Wow, this is paradise". The views are second to none with plenty of grass in the backyard to enjoy the breathing sunsets. The condo was equipped with everything you could possibly think of. Even the beach equipment included chairs, umbrellas, noodles and snorkeling gear. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. It is well equipped with every amenity one would need during your stay. The expansive sliding glass doors open to a large lanai. We ate all of our meals at the lanai dining table and relaxed for hours in the lanai loungers. The views of the ocean and golf course are beautiful with a continuous breeze. The bedrooms are separated with en suite bathrooms making it perfect for 2 couples. The gated community provided both security and privacy. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for high quality accommodations.

The condo was as beautiful as the pictures. The unit was clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. The only complaint I have is that I called the property management company to see if housekeeping could come by and exchange the bed linens and towels mid week. I explained that I did not need housekeeping services, that I had stripped the bed and had all towels gathered and placed by front door. I was told that I would need to do my own laundry they could not provide fresh linens. At the rate per night I didn't feel I was asking for much to get fresh linens and towels mid week for a week long stay. The last thing I want to be doing is laundry when I am on vacation.

My wife, 19 year old daughter and I recently spent 5 nights in this unit. Based on the VRBO description, I had high expectations of the unit itself and the view -- and often that is a recipe for disappointment. Not this time!First, the unit itself is first rate. Everything is very nice. I have no complaints whatsover. Second, the view is incredible. The ocean...the coast...the golf course...the other houses...the mountains... Absolutely beautiful. Other than sleeping, we spent very little time in the unit and all our time on the lanai. Third, the Mauna Lani Point property is very nice. We did not use the pool or BBQ grills -- but they are really first rate. Finally, the broader Mauna Lani property is also beautiful. The beach club is a fantastic little beach with great snorkeling, a first class restaurant and great facilities. The grocery store was perfectly adequate for everything we needed. If you get a chance, go early to the black sand beach which also has great snorkeling. All in all -- a fantastic stay. The next time we are on the Big Island, I will search out this unit again.

This location is in lovely condition and very clean. The location is very nice especially if you are a golfer or enjoy morning walks along the coastal trail (called the fisherman trail). What I wish I had known is that it’s not set up as an ideal location for kids and families. Every other rental we have stayed in and more to offer - basic beach toys, boogie boards, REAL beach towels, etc. The unit is surrounded by mirrors and glass (including glass furniture) - I didn’t look all that closely but I feel like we had to constantly remind our children not to touch it and bump into it. My primary disappointment was that the unit doesn’t come with a grill - this is our favorite way to enjoy meals in Hawaii and we didn’t.want to schlep our things to the pool and eat in a common area. And speaking of the pool area, it’s nice enough and well maintained, but a bit small for school aged kids. By the end of the week our kids were bored by it and that hasn’t happened before. Again none of this is a complaint about the unit itself but more a callout that I wish I had paid more attention. The kitchen is the highlight - nice appliances and cooking tools.

We had a fabulous condo, in an excellent location with an excellent property management company, Hawaii Luxury Real Estate and Vacation Retreats. I am one of those people that believe you should never have to contact a property manager during your stay and ask for anything. Everything was perfect throughout our two week stay so they are clearly doing all the maintenance work as they should. Their cleaning staff is also very thorough. We loved the amazing golf course view and the quiet vibe of this complex. Thank you so much.

This condo is excellent. We’ve stayed all over the Kohala coast, and this is now our favorite. The resorts are fun; we’ve stayed at the Four Seasons, the Fairmont and the Westin. We’ve rented other condos and houses in great neighborhoods. But this is the best experience for the money we’ve found.
The location and views are superb. Much better than pictures can show. The kitchen is well stocked. I cooked fresh fish every night. There is a ton of beach gear to borrow. It is a quiet neighborhood. It is a treat to have covered parking.
I read the few negative reviews on this property, and can report they must have been submitted by folks lacking a bit of common sense. This place is amazing. We are super picky, and we will be back.
