We have stayed at the Outrigger many times in several different units over the years and always have had a great stay. Communication with the property manager on this unit was exceptional. I highly recommend this property if you like a smaller complex for your vacation. Very spacious and well equipped and the ocean front setting is hard to beat.

This was our favorite place we’ve booked in Maui. Super quiet spot with a convenient nice beach and pool out front. The house was clean, filled will all the needs and wants you would wish for in a Maui rental. We will be booking here again!

The condo is large enough to accommodate our family and had all of the amenities we needed. The upstairs bathroom does not have a bathtub as shown in the video. Instead, it has a beautiful renovated walk-in shower. The location is a bit far from the airport, but close to Kapalua bay where we wanted to snorkel. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay here.

It was a wonderful time. Condominium was clean and had plenty of space for kids to move around. Easy access to beach was bonus. We had to go no where to see sunset. I would recommend this property to my friends and family when they visit Maui.

The condo was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, flatware, and dishes. We had friends staying in two of the other units, and ours was the best stocked for everyday use. I wouldn't call the accommodation luxurious, but it's very comfortable.
The view from the deck is exactly as the picture shows.
After snorkeling on the beach, we would come back and swim in the pool, which was absolutely pristine.

Place needs some work. One bathroom sink and bath tub had drainage problems.
We were never advised that unit below was in major renovations ( really feel that was thoughtless) but the workmen where great and apologetic
Air conditioner need to be replaced. Upstairs bedroom was impossible for couple to sleep due to all the light and noise. No privacy for couple!!

This was my families first time staying at this property and we absolutely loved it. It has a great pool, plus barbeque and only a few steps away from the ocean. My kids had a blast! The location is great as well as it is only a 15 to 20 minute drive to Lahaina. This is the perfect place to vacation in Maui and we plan on staying here a lot more in the future.

Love the location of this property and came with everything one could need. The only reason I did not give it five stars is one of the fans did not work. We notified the property manager and they promised us a visit the next morning. No one ever showed up to fix it. Still, great experience.

We loved the condo !! From multiple whale sightings to beautiful sunsets, this place had everything to offer. Such an easy check- in process with Courtney and her quick responses on questions made the trip start great!

We stayed in this condo with our family for a week during the holidays. The property manager, Courtney, was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. The unit is well decorated and well stocked. We especially appreciated the supply of beach towels and storage unit with beach equipment. Some appliances and fixtures need attention. The complex is well maintained and has a beautiful view and a nice, small beach. Larger beaches and other activities are a few minutes drive away.
Quiet hours for the complex are from 10 pm-8am and everyone staying in Kahana Outrigger respected those hours. However, the traffic noise from the road that runs behind the building was very distracting—not just cars, but motorcycles, trucks with loud music, buses, trash trucks early in the morning. The bedroom windows face the parking lot and road and don’t block noise, so getting a solid night’s sleep was difficult.

Total check in and out was easy and fast. We had the time of our lives. House is better than the pictures. Saw whales and plenty of sea turtles. Pool and BBQ were fantastic.

The house was very clean and spacious. The grounds and common areas were very well kept. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked with towels and supplies. Courtney was very accommodating and communicative. If we’re ever back in Maui we will definitely try to stay there again.

This place has amazing views, easy access to water and great property amenities. We stay in a few vacation spots a year and this place is fully stocked. Usually you have to run to get soap or foil or there aren't enough pots or pans. This place is move in ready for your vacation and provides for a stress free experience. Will stay again it's so convenient to get to great snorkeling and night life. Management extremely responsive and overall high marks for this place.

We had 7 of us so this 2nd story condo at Kahana Outrigger fit the bill. The place has the Hawaii vibe to it for sure and teh great view out the rear is wonderful over the pool framed by the adjacent buildings. This is a 4 unit property with 4 units in each. We were in building 1. Building 2 and 3 are full ocean front, but the views from building 1 and 4 are not that far behind.
The unit is very well stocked with Kitchen tools other than a few odds n ends so if you are looking for a place to prepare most of your meals (strongly suggested as there just aren't enough restaurants in the area) you should be set.
Beach accessories and towels and such are also great! plenty of chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and even some little kids beach toys, Get your own snorkle kits for your stay and you are set!
There is a nice little sliver of beach just below the property, but don't rely on it for "beach time". The small beach adjacent is a bit better for that but of course Napili, Kapalua, Slaughterhouse (our fav for snorkling) and Honolua bay are nearby. On or little beach we did see a 4' shark a couple evening come up to feed on whatever it was getting up along the shore. Cool! And of course yes, you will see turtles. Others staying at the property did launch out with their paddle boards and kayaks well enough.
Very nice well maintained pool area including grills so grab some things to BBQ at Costco upon arrival.
It was a summer trip and it was a little warm there in the mid to low 80's so we needed the AC's. There are window units in each bedroom and one in the main family room. Those are of course a little noisy and unfortunately sorta drowned out the sound of the waves too much. But they also helped drown out traffic noise from Little Honoapiilani road directly behind the unit. (if we had one pet peeve it was that traffic noise, but my guess is most facilities along that road can hear it).
We have styed in several units through the years from Kapalua down through Kahana and this would rank right up there with the best depending on what size place you need. And Courtney the manager was very responsive when called upon (internet issues the first day that got resolved - no fault of theirs or ours).
