This beachfront ocean-view condo (renovated in 2016) is a favorite with return guests! You'll feel right at home in this one bedroom with whisper-quiet split A/C. The condo has a 706-sqft interior plus 124-sqft balcony/lanai with table and chairs from which you'll enjoy fabulous ocean views and colorful sunsets!

Although there is NO POOL at this location, you do have the beautiful beach at your doorstep! Located in the newly revitalized area of Waikiki, you'll enjoy nearby dining, shopping and entertainment, including an on-site surf shop, gift shop, Tropical Tribe acai bowls, Banan soft serve, and island-style Steak Shack, with a Starbucks just next door!

Property is better than photos, you won't be disappointed here. Location is fantastic, very close to the heart of waikiki without being caught up with too many people on the street. Beach is literally at the stairwell when exiting the rear of the building and it was relatively quiet compared to all other parts of Waikiki beaches which was nice View is spectacular, getting to see mountain, part of the city and a great view of the park and beaches. Not sure you could get any better view. Condo was soundproof and well furnished with everything you need for kitchen utensils too

Location was perfect for us and getting out into the surf daily. Being up on 10th floor provided nice buffer from the people and activities below. The staff was excellent, and we would return in a heartbeat. Kudos to the property manager with whom we had a memorable conversation about the Aloha spirit of Hawaii. Mahalo.

Loved this condo. Since it's next door to the army museum and park, there are unobstructed views facing west from this 10th floor unit. You get ocean, city and mountain views. Also perfect view location for the Friday night fireworks. Well equipped kitchen (dishes, cookware, utensils) for cooking breakfast most mornings. While the building doesn't have a pool, the beach was just out the the ground floor. People have left Tommy Bahama chairs in the closet so the was nice to take to the beach with us. Someone left a review to close the curtains if you're gone in the afternoon to reduce the heat. Good recommendation. We rented a car only for one day. The host Paul was helpful in arranging one night's parking in the garage. We would definitely stay here again.

It was awesome watching the Friday night fireworks show from our lanai rather than jammed up in the crowd below on the beachwalk. It would of been nice to get a parking pass for the week but they were out of them. Public parking across the street at Fort Derussy was convenient but pricey. If you're there for more than 3 days, its cheaper to buy a monthly parking pass with unlimited in/outs.

Very close by shopping and restaurants. Overall a good stay. Only inconvenience is we need to wait until the property manager comes to the site to check you in. We had small children who was impatient to wait for almost an hour in the parking lot until someone can come and walk you into the condo. They should have a better system where we don’t have to wait for long. Other than that it was good stay!

No pool, but we swam in the ocean and snorkeled. One elevator of the two was under construction, so it could get a little busy at times. Had to call security once for neighbors fighting, but they responded immediately. This was also at the height of graduation trips.

The location & view are the key selling points in our opinion. Waking up every morning to a view of the ocean, Fort DeRussey Park & back to the hills makes it so easy & pleasant to start each day. Condo has everything we need & the building itself is well kept & clean. Only downside is the constant noise coming from renovations next door at Reef Hotel. It’s nice to see it being improved tho.

Prime for Friday fireworks!!Condo has everything you need no matter how long you are staying. Plenty of kitchen attire, a comfy living area, lots of closet space/storage. Decent sized bathroom well stocked w/ towels/beach towels. And having on/site washer/dryer was a definite plus. The entite Captain Cook staff from everyone in the office who do an excellent job handling your reservation needs to Paul who manages the unit & your arrival with a cheery Aloha all deserve our greatest appreciation for all they do to ensure we always have a great stay. The location was beautiful and the room was great! It had everything we needed to cook our breakfasts outside of the groceries of course. One of the recliners was ripped but other that cosmetic everything was great. Check in and checkout was easy. And I loved how they came to pick up our trash every morning. When we come back, we'd definitely look to stay here again.

It is hard to beat this location and view. The check in process was seamless and the property managers were proactive in providing check in check -out information. The condo was clean and well stocked. The sofa and chairs probably need replacing soon but overall a lively experience.

We have stayed in this building before and knew when we returned this was where we wanted to be. This unit is very clean and well appointed in the kitchen. It is always great to have a washer and dryer and all appliances were update and it great working order. But the real selling point is the view. Exactly as I remember. Sunsets were awesome to watch each night. We would definitely return to this unit.

My husband and I stayed in this condo in April 2022. It is a perfect location, the view is spectacular, and the kitchen is very well equipped. We also liked having the convenience of a washer/dryer in the unit. Just in case others have this same question: the key fobs are for the downstairs doors only, not the unit door; to get the keypad to show on the unit door simply place your palm in front of it and then type in the code. We didn’t get that until Paul told me and judging by the scratches on the keypad, others had this issue as well. :) Paul was wonderful to work with, very responsive.

One of the two best VRBO rentals that we stayed in the U.S. and Europe. It has great views and spectacular sunset. We just wanted to stay put to enjoy the view all day long. Location is very good for walking to shops and restaurants. Paul, our house manager, answered promptly to our request. Will definitely return and recommend it to our families and friends. One suggestion: please replace sofa cushions and pillows. They are quite old and one cushion has a long tear on the side.

This property is on the beach. You get off the elevator and walk 30 steps and step on the beach! can't get better than that. Also, the views from the room, priceless! You are treated to sunset views, the beach right in front of you. The condo has everything you need. It's also a 5 minute walk to all the shops

Everything was just as advertised. Condo has a great layout. Great amenities. Fully loaded kitchen with everything you might need. Full size appliances, all functioning properly. Unit was spotless upon our arrival & checkin/access to unit was seamless thanks to property manager Paul, even though we arrived late at night. We have always received great service from Paul on our previous visits to Cptn. Cook units.Being able to sit out on the spacious lanai to view the quiet of the park, the activity of the beach/ocean & watch the spectacular sunsets were all the perks we needed for our vacation.It was so great to be back in Hawaii again. How we have missed the island.We are hooked on this unit & are already booked to return!!!
