My husband and our baby, along with our friends and their 1 year old, stayed at the condo and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The place is very well equipped for a day at the beach which is especially convenient as it’s right across the street. The beach wagon was so handy. Comfortable, firm beds! Good AC. Great host- super responsive and accommodating. Nice lanai. One note is that the building does not have an elevator so if stairs are a challenge that may be tricky. Loved our stay- would easily come back!

John was a great host! The location is perfect and a quick walk across the street to a great beach. Been to Maui a number of times and definitely would stay here again for our next visit. The property is quiet and very clean... everything was perfect!

This condo was wonderful. We stayed in one last year and we did not realize many condos have no air. We live in Ohio and have one month of hot weather and every place has air conditioning and only assumed the same in Maui. We were careful this year and this condo fit every need.

The condo had every basic needed to make our stay comfortable for our family of 4 which includes two teens giving them their own space to retreat to. The condo is located across the beach(Kamaole II) and well located. Short walk to beach, restaurants and other amenities.
The condo itself is located between the two pools in the complex. The bbqs are top notch and really clean.
We appreciated the access to beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and snorkel gear!
Would definitely consider staying here again.

The condo is nice, comfortable, very well-located. We were amazed at all the "extras" that we found when we arrived: beach gear, snorkeling and sports equipment, beach towels, even brand-new boogie boards for our use. Well stocked kitchen including some food. Owner (not property manager) was very responsive by phone and text, super helpful. We loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our time staying here. It was great having air conditioning in all of the rooms. We didn't need it all the time since just opening the windows and turning on the fans gave plenty of air flow, but a few times it was stuffy in different rooms and the AC helped. The beds were comfy and the balcony was nice.

The Condo was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Extra linen and towels provided. The beach chairs and beach towels were a nice touch.

This was my second trip to Maui! The location and amenities here sold me! There was plenty of room for my elder parents, myself, a teenager, and a 7yr old. We had a short blackout during our stay and what do you know, we had flashlights! I felt every time I turned around needing an item, this place had it. Also, thank you so much John for being so prompt in answering me upon my arrival. We had a fantastic time!

Overall, the condo was great! The grounds were clean and the condo itself was clean and well stocked with necessities. The only downfall was the spring mattress in the master room and the pots & pans are very used.

One of the Best beaches is right across the street and John has everything you could need to really enjoy it-boogie boards, sand toys, umbrella, chairs, and a cart to haul it all. Saw many turtles while snorkeling and there is even a Lifeguard Tower which has 2 lifeguards on duty everyday which is Fantastic since we have 2 little ones. And The Sunsets were UNBELIEVABLE. The condo was Great for our group of 6. Very clean and well kept. Plenty of linens and beach towels and Great Kitchen with all the amenities to cook meals. There is A/C that was nice on the warmer days but we rarely used it because there is nice breeze at night. The grounds are Tropical and Lush, 2 pools both with gas bbq grills that we used twice. There are several Great Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Shave Ice Stands and Shopping all within walking distance. Kihei is the Best Laid back area on the Island and so glad we chose to stay here. John was always available to answer all our questions and we can’t wait to return.

Our family (6 with kids and grandchild) had a wonderful stay in this ideally located Condo. We were steps from Kamaole Beach II, easy walking distance to many amenities and on the second floor of the well kept Kihei Akani complex. It is centrally located in Maui as well. We had all we needed for fun times on the beach and to be comfortable in the condo. We took advantage of the great pool and BBQ areas. That being said, it was advertized as having a king bed (twin beds together) that did not work out as well as we hoped. As well, the sofa bed was uncomfortable and worn and the bedrooms could have been a bit cleaner. There were plenty of linens, towels and kitchen amenities including a juicer that we took full advantage of. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this Condo and Maui. John was prompt in all his correspondence and his directions and helpful hints were great and easy to follow. He was patient with all our queries. Thanks so much, John.

Property was very good. Clean and neat and in a great location in central Kihei. Steps from the beach and two pools close by with BBQs that weren't too busy. No sunshine on the lanai but can't nice having breakfast out there overlooking the gardens with the birds chirping. Had beach chairs and coolers and a wagon to haul stuff if you have kids but could use an umbrella. Kitchen was good with dishwasher and gas stove and lots of cups etc. A blender for you blender drinkers. The only thing here was the kitchen knives. They were terrible.

Great location. Nice clean space adequately furnished and with some tennis and beach gear. Two pools to choose from with good bbqs that weren’t too busy Handy parking spot. John is very helpful and quick to respond. You don’t get any sun on the lanai and can’t quite see the sunset but the neighbors had a little ceremony every evening blowing their conchs. Just one small complaint, the kitchen knives were terrible. Sorry John but they are

We had a great stay in John's condo. The supplies were very well stocked and the multiple fans and air conditioning were very welcome. We loved having the combo door lock which allowed us all to come and go with varying schedules very easily.
The complex is great as well, we took full advantage of the pool, barbecues and tennis courts. The location can't be beat with 3 beaches, shopping and multiple restaurants with in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. Literally steps from Kam II beach with fantastic snorkeling (make sure you go around the point on the left side of the rocks). The condo had everything we needed and was modern, updated and very comfortable. Access to the unit was easy and I appreciated not having to bring everything to the beach. We would absolutely stay here again, which surprised me because I have stayed at bigger condo sites. Kihei Akahi was very quiet, relaxing and a great vacation spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Kihei Akahi. Our unit had everything we needed to enjoy our three week stay with our grandchildren. We appreciated the beach chairs, toys and cooler for the beach. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy for our family. Highly recommend this unit!
