very nice, clean condo with well stocked kitchen. Beautiful, quiet, non touristy location with easy axcess to the best parts of the island. Only drawbasck is lack of restaurants close by. I always stay in this area when visiting Hawaii Island and would stay in this condo again.

Very clean property, great property manager, and centrally located to most destinations. I was there for work, so didn’t have much downtime to enjoy all the property had to offer, but the grounds were well manicured and clean.

This was our second time staying there. It is very comfortable. I was originally worried about not having AC, but we did not need it. We used the beach chairs and the hot tub almost every day. We hope to stay there again!

This is the place to visit the whole island from. I have stayed in Kona and Hilo but this is the most convenient to visit the Kohala region and Waimea.

Pros: The condo grounds are well maintained. The shared grills and pool are nearby. There were lots of beach supplies available for use. The condo location is as described. The tv was updated and the beds were comfortable. Cons: The master bedroom is a loft. In the photo of the master, where the thin curtains are drawn is actually an open space looking over the kitchen and family room area. The master “bedroom” has very little privacy and you can hear everything happening down below or up above. The condo lanai is a lovely size, however, the carpet and furniture are dated and falling apart. The chairs look like they were inherited from a cat owner who smoked. The lanai has not been renovated. The condo was uncomfortably warm at times even with the trade winds. Additional portable fans available for use might be helpful.

It was overall a great experience. The property was exactly as presented and strategically located to fully exploit some of the best resources in the Big Island. The property was fully equipped with all the necessary and everything was functional and properly working (the WIFI in general worked well but had a troubled day at the end of our stay). The house does not have AC, but it is extremely well ventilated and we always, day and night, felt fully comfortable temperature wise. Communication with and assistance by the owner was always top level. We surely would come back again in the future if we will be vacationing in the Big Island again.

The condo was exactly as described and was exactly what we wanted. There was an adequate supply of towels and beach goodies and a kitchen full of plates, bowls, pots, pans, etc. The washer/dryer was nice to have as well. Wi-Fi was not working for us on two of our three days there, but we were out and about mostly so it really didn’t impact us.

This place grows on you. At first as we making the drive, we were a little let down because of how far it was from everything. But!! Let me tell you, this place was perfect. The sounds are amazing, from the turkeys, to birds, to absolutely nothing, it was so peaceful. We really enjoyed the nights outside, the walks around the golf course. The sunsets. The kids had a great time in the pool. Thr Beach down the hill and across the street was perfect as well. The room had everything we needed. It was comfortable. It had all the beach gear we needed. Would stay here again

Perfect for our family of 4. Lanai was perfect setting for coffee in the morning. Kids liked to pool. Condo was well stocked for the beach with chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas. Hapuna Beach is a 15 minute drive from the condo and was our kids favorite beach we visited while in Hawaii.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Waikoloa Village condo. The unit seems bigger than the pics. Very comfortably furnished and well-appointed - easy to make yourself at home. Beautiful setting on a well-manicured golf course and a huge balcony to enjoy dinner and the incredible sunsets from the course. I also highly recommend walking out onto the course for sunsets - there's a hill overlooking trees and the sunset that's spectacular. Loved the welcome basket of treats. We appreciated that there were plenty/extra paper products in the condo - TP, paper towels (I can't tell how many times lately we get 1 roll of toilet paper in our rentals - ridiculous!), as well as good quality beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards to take to the beach. The reasonable price of the condo is excellent value for the area as well. Others have mentioned the AC - this was only an issue for us our first night as the curtains were open to the living area and the condo was quite warm that first night. After that it was cool and breezy with the windows and vents. If the cleaning service closed the outside blinds and/or interior curtains after each departure it would help tremendously. Caution: Be sure to read and respond right away to your VRBO confirmation email (I would add 'action required' to subject line) which requests information about your party - otherwise your booking will be canceled in 7 days. We got a reminder about this on day 7 and nearly lost the res - yikes! Highly recommend this condo!

I really enjoyed staying at this property and would recommend. It is quiet and mostly private. I liked the layout, with the second floor bedroom suite having a very open "loft" feel with cathedral ceilings a good size closet and plenty of room. The fans and the breeze was especially good upstairs. The living and kitchen areas are nice and spacious. There are only two things that I noted as very slight things I did not like, but neither would dissuade me from staying here again. First, there is an opening from the deck on the adjacent condo where those staying in that unit could stand and look directly into this condo living room and deck area. This could be a slight privacy issue if traveling alone or are sensitive to that. People were respectful when I was there, looked in once for curiosity and never did again. I think some non-see-through curtains to pull across to block from inside could provide privacy if someone needed. This opening is a large open air "window" and is clearly cut in the wall to show a larger panoramic and beautiful view. In Jan when I stayed there were beautiful sunsets to be seen from deck and that opening allowed to see from inside as well. Second, the internet was a bit on and off and there are two routers and both were out for a time. To be fair this may be an island-wide issue and I did not let host know or try to troubleshoot because I was there for work and had service at the office all day. Kerrie seems very responsive and I am sure would have fixed if I had let her know. The 3 remotes can be slightly confusing to figure out if you don't read the instructions first. Use the biggest one for normal TV watching and read how to use. I would put the other two remotes away unless you plan to use them. Both these were very minor things (to me) but just for info. Finally, I think Kerrie was very responsive and great to work with to secure this unit. I did not need to contact very much -including during my stay. I really appreciated the big basket of fruit and goodies. Highly recommend this condo for a reasonably priced home "base" for exploring Hawaii Island, attending work or conference, etc. Great host. Nice alternative to the overpriced resorts with huge fees.

This condo is much better in real life than the photos can show. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms—one of each downstairs and upstairs. The master bedroom is open to the living room below and although there is no A/C, the fans and open plan made it very comfortable. It’s located on a golf course with amenities such as hot tubs, pools, tennis courts, etc. that you can access if you desire. The complex is located very close to a gas station, grocery store, bank and a few restaurants. Otherwise, it’s approximately 10 minutes to the highway. With the exception of the wild turkeys and birds in the morning, the complex is quiet. The check-in and out process is very easy. Kerrie was very responsive when there was a problem with the downstairs toilet making loud noises and they fixed the problem right away even though it was the New Years holidays. We really appreciated the fruit bowl, bottled waters, and the book of instructions waiting for us after such a long trip. The kitchen is the best equipped that I’ve experienced in rental properties. The only tiny drawback was that the curtains leading outside to the patio are sheer, so if you’re upstairs in the master bedroom with those sheer curtains, remember that you’re visible. This rental and the service provided far exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay, our condo was stocked with all the usual items plus more! We arrived late at night, and found that the condo was prepped for our arrival. There were lights on so we could find our way around and a lovely fruit bowl waiting. During our stay we did not have to purchase paper towel, toilet paper, or trash bags... a real bonus when you are travelling. The kitchen provided a large inventory of spices and all the basics needed for preparing a meal. We enjoyed the sunsets, the pool and walking in the evening. The location is great. We highly recommend staying in waikoloa villas.

Terrific 2 bed, 2 bathroom condo in Waikoloa Village. Three minute drive to grocery store and coffee shop. Master bedroom and ensuite is in the spacious loft. Fully furnished kitchen. Everything you need for beach and pool is available. Condo overlooks one of two pools in the complex - pool has cabana with two gas BBQs. Just behind the pool is the fairway of the 9th hole at Waikoloa Village golf course. It is quicker to walk to the clubhouse than drive. Kerrie was responsive to every question I had. Even the dumb ones. Those visiting the big island for the first time should know that Waikoloa Village is about seven miles inland from the ocean.

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
