We had 3 great days before the wildfires came and we had to evacuate.
The unit itself is wonderful as is the communication with the owner.

I’ve stayed at the Maui Eldorado many times over the last 20+ years and this is one of the best units I’ve stayed in. Very clean, J building is easiest access to the beach, cabana and the Sheraton hotel next door. Bed is super comfy which is important to me. Lovely patio with views of the golf course and ocean. Highly recommended!!

We loved our stay here! It was clean, quiet, and the perfect location. The condo had everything that you needed, the cabana provided towels and chairs which was great, the beach right out front was never crowded and we got to see turtles while snorkeling. Just a short walk to Whalers village for food and a quick drive to Safeway for groceries and Lahaina for more restaurants. Can’t wait to come back - we loved our stay!

I stayed in J220 for almost a week (while attending a conference at the Sheraton). The property manager Dave was very helpful and quick to respond. The people at the front desk were always really friendly.
The apartment was a delighful home away from home, beautiful view overlooking the golf course and ocean in the background. It is very clean and tastefully decorated, with plenty of storage space. It is equipped with everything you needed to dine in, chill out on the balcony or a day at the beach including beach towels, easy to carry chairs and umbrellas. The cabana on the beach also provides towels and chairs but their opening hours didn't fit with the times outside of the conference I was attending.
Very easy to get around, even without a car - I rented a bike (bike rental within walking distance!), and several times caught the free trolley shuttle to Whaler's village.
My absolute favourite part was the beach access - very few people compared to the busy Kaanapali beach, I had several lovely, peaceful sunset swims!

We have stayed at 4 other condo's here and this rates up among the top. Although there were no beach chairs or beach toys (easy rentals) the location for sunset view, and closeness to the parking structure were perfect. The unit was clean and very comfortable. It had everything thing you would need for a weeks stay. Look forward to return again soon.

My wife and I spent 6 days celebrating our 1 year anniversary at the Maui Eldorado. The property is beautiful and very well kept. Sunsets to die for as you watch from the balcony overlooking the golf course and the ocean. Couldn't have asked to be in a better location. A very short walk to the beach where the beach cabana is located as well as within walking distance of the Kaanapali beach walk that is loaded with plenty of options for shopping and dining.

We had a wonderful stay. Great location. The black rock beach is a few minutes’s walk away. Very easy to get to Lahaina, all the restaurants. Super clean with thoughtful facilities. My husband and I stayed at Maui El Dorado in J220 for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect for us. It had everything we needed and the golf cart transportation service to the beach cabana was awesome. Everything was so clean and we had no issues throughout our stay. The location is perfect with it being right next to Black Rock and within walking distance to Whaler’s Village. The town of Lahaina is a short drive away. We already cannot wait to come back and stay at Maui El Dorado again!

J220 is one of the nicest condo’s at the Maui Eldorado with one of the best views. We have stayed in this beautiful condo before and we will definitely be booking it again. It does not disappoint!
We enjoyed a lot of our meals on the balcony, grilling and enjoying the beautiful sunsets.
The condo was incredibly clean, well equipped and we felt very at home. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything in the condo, as well as the Maui Eldorado Property, was very well maintained.

My wife and I came back to the Eldorado for the second time. The first was our honeymoon 43 years ago. Kaanapali is a perfect destination, and J220 is the place to stay. This is a very nicely-appointed, fully functional, home-away-from-home. Everything you need is readily available, and there are lots of extras. Having stayed at the Eldorado before, we had indelible memories of beautiful beaches, great snorkelling, and close access to a variety of stores and restaurants. The current version is better than we remember, with more of everything. We leave reluctantly, with lots of great pictures and happy memories. Thanks, Dave! We will be back!

Cozy unit with a great sunset ocean view! Unit was very clean, exactly as shown in the pictures, and the central location in the complex with easy access to amenities. The fully stocked kitchen was nice cook and eat at home. The unit even had a beach umbrella, lunch box, and a large insulated water jug you could take on your adventures. Definitely will come back!

J-220 is a lovely spacious studio with a great view! It is located within walking distance to Whalers Village, restaurants, shopping and the beach! We loved the walking path along the beach. The cabana at the beach is really nice to have and the beach is very nice! We loved that the property was quiet, and being a top floor (2nd floor) unit, we didn't have anyone above us. The view is beautiful! Dave was great to work with! We would love to return! Thanks Dave!

My wife and I had a great time renting J220 at the Eldorado in Maui! The property looks exactly as shown in the pictures, and we spent many evenings watching the amazing sunset views from the lanai across the golf course to the ocean. We also had coffee every morning out there! It was incredibly relaxing and the location can't be beat. It is a short walk to everything and Kaanapali beach, once again did not disappoint. It is certainly one of my favorite beaches in Maui. This was our third time visiting Maui, and I would definitely stay here again.

Silly us, we are recently retired and forgot that we don't need to hurry back home. It was mid week before the notion hit us that we should have booked a longer stay. Enough about us and our short comings.
The condo was great, equipped with everything we needed, and the location was beautiful, 10 minutes from grocery, and shopping, restaurants at Whalers shopping center, and nearby resorts. Only used our car a couple of times, we didn't want to leave the setting. We could sit on the Lanai and watch the ocean and golf course. The beach cabana was also a huge plus. The cabana supplied towels, chairs, and a bathroom. We spent literally every afternoon/evening there way past the 5:30 closing time. We didn't go to the pool. Couldn't bring our selves to it with the beautiful beach so close. Nice walking path either way. We want to go back. David the host was responsive and easy to work with.

We had a fantastic stay at the Maui Eldorado. We did need to connect with the owner at one point and he quickly resolved our issue. Would absolutely stay there again. The location can't be beat, the unit has an incredible view and we could watch whales from the lanai every morning.

We LOVED the location, the amenities associated with the beach club (chairs/towels that could be picked up/left at the beach), the pools, and the convenient parking. Laundry in unit was a must-have, and we loved using the electric grill & kitchenette to prepare meals. The view was fantastic and unobstructed, and the location was so convenient. You have everything you need within a short walk (on the other side of Black Rock is the busy side) but lots of quiet beach at the Eldorado. We were sad to leave.

I've been to Maui probably 25 times and this is my favorite condo to rent. It's close enuf to Whalers Village, near Black Rock for snorkeling, fabulous views from the lanai...
Condo is beautiful, super clean, updated, nice kitchen, W/D, comfortable bed, very very nice!!! Location is easy drive to Lahaina, restaurants, shops, Safeway. Cabana on the beach is special as it's part of the condo property and has a kitchen, bathrooms, towels, chairs, web cam... Check out the web cam online!!!!

Everything about the property was exactly as the owner had presented, including clean, very well maintained and all the conveniences of home.
We enjoyed the beautiful beach and pool every day, and the catamaran sunset sail was great.

My wife and I have been returning to this condo at least once a year for about 20 years now. We consider it a great "find". Although you will have a beautiful ocean view from the lanai, you are away from the tourist crush if you choose to be. The path from the condo to the beach has a Y and one leg goes into the tourist crush and the other goes to an equally beautiful but much less used beach that many visitors to Kannapali probably do not even know exists. You have the use of a private club house with free beach mat and towel checkout, books, refrigerators, picnic tables and showers, etc. If you want the crush, take the other leg of the Y to Kaanapali beach where you can walk to at least a dozen bars and restaurants along the beach. Great beach and great snorkeling within a few minute walk on either leg. The condo is more like a second home than a rental. There are usually movies and books there for your use. It is not unusual to find a couple of beers or sodas or a bottle of wine left in the refrigerator from the last guest to the new guest. Normally there is a small ice chest for picnics, mask and snorkel, boogey board etc. in the hall closet. Has always been exceptionally clean and well appointed. The owner, has always been courteous, honest and helpful as has the Eldorado staff.
