We stayed at this condo for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. The condo is extremely clean and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. It has a very spacious master suite on the second level, but the second bedroom, on the first floor, was a bit small for our two young adult daughters. Other than that, it has everything you need including beach chairs, cooler and bougie board, and full kitchen. The resort was perfect, close to Poipu Beach and very clean. We loved walking to the beach daily for sunrise, watching the turtles and seals, and sunset. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. We would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at this perfect condo. It’s been updated, which the photos as of 1-9-24 didn’t show. The living room has new furniture, and both bathrooms have new cabinets. I almost passed this place up due to the tired looking furniture in the living room photos and I’m so glad I didn’t! It’s a quick walk to the beach to snorkel, view turtles, body board, playground and restaurants. Body board rental is right on the beach road. I ultimately chose this condo because it has in-unit washer and dryer (also newer than the photos), the downstairs king bed can be separated into 2 twin beds, and both bedrooms have AC.

Absolutely the perfect spot if you can get a reservation here don’t even hesitate. It’s so spacious and well laid out. Everything is comfortable and well thought out! I cannot get over the location if you have a little one it’s so perfect from then lanai right onto the grass they can run and play. Very quiet end of the resort area as well close to both pools and only a 5 min walk from the best little kid beach! Poipu! Great snorkelling there too for the adventurous ones in your group. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our time in Kauai and having this place was a big part of our highlight! Hope to stay here again!

Our stay at in this condo was the perfect location for us. Short walking distance to the beach and pool plus in Kauai's beautiful south side. We took trips to see the Waimea Canyon (45 minutes), Spouting Horn (15 minutes), the Kolea village for shopping and dinner (10 minutes). We did explore the west and north side of the island as well reaching Tunnel Beach the lighthouse. Beautiful island! The condo was the perfect size for our group. We didn't realize that there was no AC but fans were provided and we adjusted. It still was a little hot in the Master bedroom but we survived. With the windows open we could certainly hear the roosters bright and early in the morning. The condo is located on beautiful property which made our morning walks quite enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised when taking in the sunset at Brennecke's Beach that a group of turtles (over 30) had ventured up to the beach. We enjoyed our relaxing stay in this property!

We stayed here for 2.5 weeks and it was a pleasant condo with a great location. A short walk to the beach, two accessible pools, and an open green area right off the lanai. Eating dinners on the outdoor lanai was beautiful and we even could see the sunset most nights. The condo itself was stocked with plenty of pots and pans and given its age, was extremely clean! The condo needs new windows and doors and the bathrooms and fixtures could use an update. The screen of the slider was broken and the slider does not run on the track and was so squeaky it startled our baby every time we opened/closed it. We would have appreciated a few more hooks in the bathrooms for wet towels and bathing suits and speaker for music. Heather was the on-island contact and very helpful and even brought us a new salad spinner, drying rack, and laundry basket! The firmness of mattress is of course a personal choice, we found the master bed to have a very soft topper, and pillows were a bit lumpy. Lastly, the twin bedroom is at the entrance and close to the living area with only a sliding door. This could be tough for light sleepers and the sprinklers outside go off very early in the morning which woke up our toddler. It would be great if the binder is updated with more info.
Overall, if you’re planning to spend most your time outside and exploring I feel this is a good place to stay due to the location and simplicity of the condo.

Some instructions in the folder missing in regards to pools and court accessibility so we never used them. Plushy king size bed in master though a bit warm with no AC in August. Bathrooms are a bit dated but overall a lovely condo in a good location! A very large TV screen but there is no sound system for music. About a 2 minute walk across the lawn to Kalapaki Joe's sports bar w wonderful happy hour appetizers.

A short walk across the lawn to Brennecke and Poipu beach park. Keep walking for several other beaches. Rent snorkel, surf and other equipment nearby at Nukumoi surf shop. Very reasonable. If you’re interested in walks on the beach, beautiful scenery, and all the magic Kauai has to offer, this is the perfect place to stay. Deborah quickly answered any questions I had and the rental process was simple. The condo is well stocked, squeaky clean, and incredibly well located. As much as we hated to leave, we locked the door determined to return to this same address in the future!

Great location - a couple minutes walk to the beach and close to main roads to get anywhere on the island. Unit was very comfortable for the three of us, even though we didn’t spend much time there with all the island activities we enjoyed. Would definitely stay again.

Condo has a nice setup, and a great location for walking to the beach. Staying here also gives you access to two pools - one that is warmer with a wonderful view of the ocean, and one that also has a really big, nice separate hot tub. The condo itself is getting a little “tired” and there is some deferred maintenance particularly on doors and windows, that needs addressing.

Only a short walk to a great beach for snorkeling, boogie boarding and surfing. Quality boogie boards, cooler, chairs and umbrella provided. Pool with ocean view was also fantastic. The property was ideal for our second time visiting Kauai. We would definitely stay at this condo again. The owner and the local property manager contact were very prompt to respond to questions.
The condo is at a great location with easy access to beaches and pools. The in-house folder could use a few minor updates, but my e-mails with questions were answered promptly. We appreciated the towels hanging at the entryways to wipe our feet. It definitely minimized the amount of sand in the condo.

The location was important to us and thankfully was within walking distance to the shoreline and close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. This is the place!!! Absolutely perfect location. About 30 mins easy drive from LIH airport. Once here you have everything you need! Pool, hot tub and great bar and restaurant are 100 yards away, plus tennis. A very short walk to 3 different public beaches. The unit is super well stocked for all your needs. Kitchen has plenty of items for your day to day cooking, wifi works great, bonus beach toys are there for your use, the laundry is a wonderful addition. There are shared grills 50 yards out in the common area that are great and easy to use. The unit itself was very quiet and felt like your own private villa despite all the close conveniences I just mentioned. I will absolutely try to stay here again in the future! If you are a golfer, a super short ride to Poipu Bay is a must!! Try to snag the 7 AM first tee time. Yes it's an early wake up call, but you'll thank me - trust me =) The sunrise by the 2nd hole is worth every penny.

We were pleasantly surprised by how close this property is to three great beaches. Turtles and monk seals were commonly sighted. They paid great attention to small details like providing four beach chairs, an insulated backpack cooler, boogie boards and a beach umbrella. These were all greatly appreciated. The two-story layout is ideal for a family. Two beautiful swimming pools and a large hot tub to choose from. We would come back here in a second!

This townhouse was perfect for our stay in Poipu! Spacious and well appointed, you get privacy and convenience to the local beaches, restaurants and shops.
The townhouse was very clean and was appointed with all of the necessities of home. High efficiancy washer/dryer made keeping tidy and organized a breeze along with the dishwasher and cleaning supplies. I, personally, like the ability to stay tidy especially in a place that is not mine:)
Parking is very convenient also to the unit and was important as my son was healing from a broken ankle.
We were very impressed with the grounds and how there were constantly being cleaned and manicured.
I recommend checking out the small historic town of KALOA before shopping at the big box, or grocery store near the airport as it has everything you need and is more local to the culture of the Island.

Within walking distance to several beaches and also restaurants... Golf and tennis nearby... 2 swimming pools to use as well. The condo was decorated really cute, the kitchen had all appliances you could need. The upstairs bedroom suite had a very comfortable bed!!! Big closet for all your clothes. Can't wat to come back!!!

I spent way too much time researching properties in Poipu. I finally settled on this Poipu Kai Condo. I am exceedingly pleased that I did so. We traveled with my parents and our 7-month-old. My wife and I used the second bedroom, which is on the main floor, and were able to fit the Pack-N-Play (owner provided) partly in the closet in the room. My parents were in the massive master bedroom, which is located upstairs and has its own lanai. The condo had all the kitchen utensils and cookware you could need. The kitchen looked as though it had recently been upgraded. There was a large TV in the living room with full cable and the unit had a great WiFi signal (for those who need to work). The Poipu Kai grounds are immaculately kept and we had access to two pools (one by a bar and another that had great views of Brennecke's Beach). I didn't see a single chicken on the grounds during our entire stay...which is amazing considering their staggering numbers in Kauai. There is a short 5 minute walk to the beach and they have provided chairs, boogie boards (use these at Brennecke's), beach towels, and a set of snorkel gear (use on the north side of Poipu beach for the best fish viewing). There are also beach bags and a cooler. Look no further. All your needs will be met at this perfect Poipu property.
I have already recommended this property to my friends who are planning Hawaii trips. If you can swing it, take a helicopter ride with Sunshine Helicopter Tours. Its the best way to see the island in its entirety. I also recommend hitting Safeway and CostCo before heading to Poipu as it is a 30 minute drive. If you are drinkers, buy your spirits at CostCo (best prices). There are some amazing hikes around the island and are too many to list. Try to hit up some waterfalls if you can.

It's just a short walk to Poipu beach with great snorkeling at The Sheraton and by The Beach House. Lapperts was our favorite morning stop for a sticky bun or cinnamon roll and coffee, then again in the evening for ice cream?Such a great location with a beautiful ocean view and endless things to do. We indulged in zip lining and a Luau at The Sheraton while there along with a trip up to Waimea Canyon and Wailea Falls. We look forward to coming back again! ---Craig and Nancy, Yuba City, CA

We stayed in this Poipu townhouse with two 18 year old kids. The house was very comfortable and while I was skeptical of no air, the upstairs cooled off nicely most nights. Deborah was very helpful with all our questions and requests. The townhouse was very nice but more importantly it was welcoming and quickly felt like home. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed. The location was wonderful with a short walk to the beach. The kids only went to the pool once but it was very close and very nice. The beach was so close they preferred that over the pool. There were so many things to do close to this location and even going to the north side of the island did not take long. The restaurant on the resort had great happy hour food and the convenience couldn't be beat. Jim and I are already discussing returning in 2017!

My wife and I stayed for a week with the sole purpose of playing golf and we weren't disappointed. The condo was clean, quiet and in a great location. The two musts on the Island to play are Poipu Bay and Princeville, Both courses are championship caliber. Tee times were readily available and the service was great. Poipu Bay is less than five minutes from the condo. Princeville is a bit of a drive (45 minutes) so we booked a tee time at Makai golf course, and it to was a beautiful layout. The local courses Kiahuna, Wailua are real gems. Kiahuna is also less than five minute away, and is a fine challenge. The green fees are very reasonable and tee times are easy to get. They have a local game (betting) on Tuesdays its a lot of fun. Wailua is a municipal course with beautiful views of the ocean and challenging lay out. After golf the beach is a short walk and the water is Stunning! Have fun and hit them long and straight.

This is a very comfortable condo in a choice part of Poipu Beach. Particularly notable are the ground level lanai, the king bedroom upstairs and a completely equipped kitchen. I liked having a PVR. Everyone should have one.
There is a bit of noise from the sports bar restaurant across the way. Luckily they always finish early enough.
A short walk to the Grand Hyatt at one end of the green belt and to the beach at the other end. Highly recommended.

I bit late in reporting...We had a great stay last Christmas in this wonderful unit. The layout was great for a family of 4 with 2 young children. The kids loved running around making new friends in the expansive lawn out front where we could watch them from the shady lanai. The tennis is great, its a 2 minute drive to a bunch of amenities and the Poipu surf break. The kitchen is well stocked with quality utensils etc., and as an added bonus there were beach toys, chairs and umbrellas available for our use. We will be back next Christmas.
