We really enjoyed our stay. You can't beat the location, and we loved watching the sunrises and sunsets. I've pointed out a few issues to the property managers, the main ones being concerns about some blinds, and that the unit could use a deep cleaning. Hopefully they'll address these because this would otherwise be a wonderful place for a family vacation.

We had a 1 and 3 year old, their parents and two 60 somethings. There is a separate "wing" with two bedrooms that allowed the children to sleep in quiet while the rest of us enjoyed the evenings.
The unit was in excellent condition and well stocked. I highly recommend this condo for groups with mixed ages.

This condo was the perfect home base for a family visiting Kauai! We loved it so much that we re-booked before leaving for next summer. For reference, we have 3 teen/tween boys and felt like there was plenty of space.
The unit has a nice ocean view from the patio and the pool/hot tub are right outside the unit as well. Super convenient/great with kids.
The condo had everything we needed. We did not cook much (pizzas, salads, etc.), but had plenty of knives, cutting boards, coffee mugs, etc. We stayed 7 nights and did not need to replenish anything, which we sometimes have to do at other VRBOs (i.e., toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags).
I appreciated that!
The beds were super comfy and the place was sparkly clean! There was plenty of space to hang out at night around the TV and watch a movie from the streaming service the condo provides!
There were plenty of towels and beach equipment if you needed it.
Bathrooms were spacious. Washer and dryer were full size - nice for a family. The condo in general was quiet....there is a unit above and so you might hear footsteps, but we were not fussed.
AC and fans all over kept the place cool/quiet (no roosters like our last place w/o AC!).
Perhaps most of all, I loved the location. We walked down to Poipu beach every day (Puka Dogs and Brennecke's Broiler are walkable eating spots!). Beach is awesome for snorkeling: stick your face in the water, fish everywhere, monk seals on beach, turtles on beach + water (go at sunset to see turtles come up to sand to hang). Also, we drove to Shipwreck beach every day which is only 1.5 or so miles down the road when the boys wanted to play in wilder/wavier water + there is a great trail there to walk and take pics.
Overall, this was my fav place in Kauai so far. I think the location is perfect, communication with maintenance guy and owner were amazing (+ they were understanding when we went through a family emergency that caused an issue with the property).

The condo was clean and was plenty of space for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 young children). We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked it was with beach toys, kids books and games, and everything we needed in the kitchen. All the linens and towels felt new and fresh. And the ground floor unit opening onto the grass was perfect for us. The pool was warm and the unit is a short walk to multiple beaches. We also used the grills on the property multiple times which were clean and new and worked well. Overall a really great stay - would highly recommend!

This is a well equipped property with lots of little extras that helped us avoid costs we've incurred with stays at other properties. The location is exceptional for enjoying the ocean waves crashing on the rocks either from the lanai or by taking long walks on the trails along the Point. We had a bit of an issue with the AC during the first few days of our stay, but the property manager was very prompt to deal with the issue. No stay is perfect so having someone to deal with problems is very important and appreciated. We will probably be back sometime in the near future.

Could maybe use one or more extra chairs on the lanai (have a chaise and a chair) for enjoying the view from f the pool area and surroundings but that’s just a suggestion.

We stayed here Dec 26- Jan 2 . I would highly recommend it ! Wonderful location ans very well equipped . Perfect for a young family or a family with young adults. The hosts were quick to answer messages.

The condo was very clean. Also, had everything you need for beach and pool. The kitchen was large and stocked with everything you needed to cook meals. BBQs on property were very nice.
AC was not working throughout the unit. We specifically booked this unit because it said it had ac. There were individual ac units in each bedroom, which helped when sleeping. We were told main unit was broken and they were waiting for part. Were told part would be arriving while we were there but that never happened.
Overall, good place to stay.

This rental was very clean when we arrived. No bugs in evidence as per a previous reviewer. Beds/bedding was clean and comfortable. We spent many hours on the lanai. 50 ft walk to ocean view. Pool/ hot tub right outside the unit. Plenty of towels, dishes and supplies were provided. We would rent this unit again.

This was my family’s first trip to Hawaii. This is also the first time I’ve used Vrbo to rent a vacation home.
Overall the place was nice. However, there were live cockroaches in the kitchen upon entry. We spent a good twenty minutes each morning exterminating and sanitizing the kitchen before using it. I believe a few factors contributed to this problem. The kitchen cupboards were filthy on the exterior and there is food splattered on the ceiling above the oven/range. There are no scrub sponges or brushes to do dishes only washcloths. There was no lid on the kitchen trash, and food in the sink disposal.
There also was no vacuum or mop inside the unit leaving only a broom for us to clean up.
The beach gear was a nice touch, but the snorkel mask was missing and the kids flippers were missing one. This resulted in us purchasing the missing items to have fun.
This was a wonderful first trip to Hawaii! I realize everything can’t be perfect. In my Opinion, perhaps it has been awhile since the property owner has visited the unit, or maybe the cleaning crew communication is suffering.

So happy we decided to stay here! The property was exactly as described and well stocked for our two families. As part of a smaller development it was quiet but extremely well kept and easy to access multiple beaches and tourist attractions, either by walking or within a short car ride. Having access to a wagon, beach chairs, towels and an umbrella was very helpful. Mike and Surrey were both very responsive on the few occasions we had questions or requests both in advance of our stay and while we were at the property. We would definitely put this at the top of our list of places to stay should we return to Kauai in the future. Thanks so much Mike and Surrey!

Very spacious for 5 of us and has everything you would need for a stay. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy, timely, and thorough. We have stayed in many VRBO’s and they certainly were the most thorough and timely in their communication which is always appreciated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anybody!

The place was great. The responsiveness of the property manager was outstanding. The TV has a small crack that affected the picture slightly. I let them know just as a courtesy, and they replaced the TV the same day while I was at the beach. Everything was as advertised, if not nicer than expected.

We had four adults and two 4-yr old kids staying in this three bedroom unit. We particularly enjoyed the ground floor with a flow indoor and outdoor activities with the family. The kitchen is well equipped and looks great. The layout is not very good for access to cupboards when emptying the dishwasher and fridge seems to block traffic frequently. These are small troubles compared to all of the positives
I would stay here again given the opportunity.

Overall it was top notch. Checking in and out was a piece of cake. Great rooms and nice amenities. The pool and hot tub was well used and we loved having access to the tennis court. AC worked fantastic and one of the most comfortable beds we've ever stayed in. The only small nit was that the lock between the master bathroom and the second bedroom wouldn't work. But a small thing compared to so many other great things about this unit. We would love to stay there again.

The condo was as advertised. The furniture is well worn and probably should be replaced. The patio ottoman had one broken leg which was reported but did not get repaired. We noticed some stains on the master bdrm mattress cover, not from us. It would be nice if there was a patio dining table and chairs. However, all appliances and equipment worked. Had trouble getting TV Netflix to work. Overall it was fine.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The condo was spacious, comfortable, clean and extremely well equipped. Absolutely everything we needed for a three generation family vacation in paradise. The kids loved the pool and the ground floor patio with access to the lawn in front. Kitchen was perfectly outfitted with everything you could want, all very clean and in near new condition. A pleasure to prepare meals in! Air conditioning was a great bonus too.

They had everything you needed. A beautiful location, perfect for families. Watched the sunrise every single morning just ten steps from our room. So much wildlife right by our cliffs. Loved our stay here! Mike and Surrey were easy to communicate with and the property was exactly as listed. Excellent selection of beach and pool toys for the kids. The real gem of the stay though was the location with views of both sunrise and sunset just steps off the lanai. Bonus that there were so many whales this trip! The perfect Hawaii vacation day starts with coffee and sunrise, followed by a walk to brenneke’s for boogie boarding, puka dogs and shave ice, back to the condo to nap the baby while the big kids hit the pool, then wrapping it all up with a cocktail and sunset. Thank you to Mike and Surrey for making it wonderful!

Michael’s condo was awesome and his communication is the best I’ve seen on VRBO. Condo was stocked with everything needed for the stay and the beach. Location was great for beaches, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend. Mahalo!

The condo was a great stay for our family! Clean, plenty of room and all the necessities for a home away from home. Loved the extras like the boogie boards and beach toys. Mike was in excellent communication with us the entire time! The condo complex is small and intimate and pool was relaxing. It was a great place to stay right off the water with beaches within walking distance to play in. We will be back for sure!

We had the most amazing time in Kauai! The condo was very clean, organized, and with amazing views! We loved having wine on the patio or going to the overlook watching the waves, we even saw dolphins one morning! Our kids loved the pool and we all met a lot of friendly people at the condo, even had wine with our “neighbors” one evening. The condo is located in between both Poipu and shipwreck beaches, which are both beautiful and a must do! Lots of beach amenities were provided. The condos were close to everything, yet very peaceful. Communication with the owners was great, very thorough with speedy responses. Would definitely love to stay again and will recommend!! Thanks for sharing your little slice of Heaven with us!

This property was very well maintained and the other people staying were very respectful and quiet. The owner has plenty of beach items to use. We loved the little patio that overlooked the pool and ocean in the distance. It’s about a 10 minute walk to a beach with sand, or just a couple minute drive. We would stay here again!

Condo was clean, cool and comfortable, on beautiful cliffs between two lovely beaches and right on a trail that takes you all along the coast. Great pool where my husband swam every morning, all manner of beach toys and essentials, a huge washer/drier and every kitchen aid and utensil you could want. Stayed with three teenaged children, all of whom loved the condo, which was close the main road but quiet and peaceful. Terrific views and friendly neighbors. Quick response to all questions and lots of suggestions for shopping, dining and excrusions. A perfect place to stay in Kauai.

My family of six enjoyed Michael's condo. It was spacious and clean and we never felt crowded. There was plenty of room for all of us. We really appreciated having air conditioning in this unit too! Our family of 5 had an amazing time staying at the Blue Tide Villa. The location right on the point of Poipu was absolutely stunning. We spent every evening watching the sun set with the waves crashing against the sea cliffs mere steps from our lanai. The condo was very comfortable and spacious for our two young kids 5 and 7, my wife and I and my mother. The AC was nice to have but many nights we did not use it opting to listen to the waves crash against the cliffs. It is a great location being an easy walk to both Shipwreck and Poipu beach. We used the pool everyday, our kids absolutely loved it. We spent many hours on the lanai enjoying the view. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay in Poipu! The condo was in a perfect location and right next to a walking path with beautiful sunrise views. Our whole family got to watch whales play right from the point outside the condo. Michael was very easy to work with when we needed to change our arrival date. We would definitely stay at this condo again!
