Overall I would recommend.
What needs love:
Things like towel racks, toilet paper roll are all falling off the walls but an easy fix, knives, all need attention or replacement as they aren't sharp at all and are kind of dangerous as a result. Easy fixes. The fridge doesn't make ice but there is an ice maker on the counter but the fridge is weird to open/close. Again small items.
A good clean needed for the couches, under vanities and edges of the room and the smelly washer dryer are needed.
Great things:
Location and layout as well as the sunsets, oh the SUNSETS!!! Absolutely breathtaking and we made sure we were back to watch them every single day. Internet was great, When the stompy neighbors left upstairs the sound of the ocean was amazing and there was no need for air conditioning at all. Pool and grounds are awesome, and the beach you can walk to is wonderful and we saw turtles there the last time we stayed.
I would absolutely recommend, just a few updates to consider to make it a 5 star.

A very lovely condo with ocean views. Highly recommend the Captain Cook trail just 10 mins. A great location just far enough from Kona to give more rest and relaxation.

Could not ask for a better location. The pacific at your front door, memorable sunsets, quiet environment yet only minutes from downtown. Unit had everything you need to enjoy the Kona experience and landlord quick to address any issues that may come up. The only negative was that the cleaning crew needs to pay a bit more attention to detail. Not a deal breaker but did distract a bit from the overall experience. Hopefully we may have the opportunity to return again in the future.

We had a fabulous time on the Big Island with this condo as a relaxing home base! The oceanfront location and large lanai are amazing, and the location just south of the busier area of Kona was perfect. We also appreciated the "fun closet" stocked with snorkeling gear, beach towels and everything needed for our outings. Loved this place.

This was a really nice condo. It had just a few cosmetic problems, such as burned out light bulbs, but nothing major. The condo stayed a very nice temp with only ceiling fans in use. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The location of the condo is breathtaking. As described, it is directly facing the ocean, very close to the water, with lovely sunsets. At first sight it brought tears of joy to my eyes. We’ve visited the Big Island many times and this spot tops them all. The condo is well equipped and spacious. Paul and Cindy have been very gracious hosts.
