Beautiful property and area, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and spacious with a great view.
If you're not back by early evening it is difficult to find a parking spot onsite.
Would suggest placing some sort of rubber mat under mattress to prevent constant sliding.

We were very impressed with the value, the ocean view from our balcony, the sound of the waves 24/7, the beautifully landscaped property, the amenities and the convenient location. It was everything we wanted for a relaxing quick getaway. Mahalo!

We had a very lovely stay at your condo.
The location was great...we could explore the whole island. Everything we needed was there, with the exception of tissue. More electrical outlets would be a plus, too. The property is lovely, and the beach is very close. Thanks!

Absolutely superb condo we had. Clean, nicely furnished and equipped in the kitchenett. Had a really great view. The garden was breathtaking. You can find stores and restaurants in 5 minute walking distance.

I would suggest having another small table just for the coffee maker and toaster as the kitchen counter space is minuscule. It would also be nice to have some kind of a drying rack mounted on the wall because there is just no place to put dishes as you wash them.

We were unable to get the television to work. And the pool is not heated so heads up on that one.

Great place right on the beach! The room is somewhat dated, and air conditioning was loud, but overall, very good for the price. The property is very nicely landscaped with a lot of security. Good options to eat and shop nearby, although nothing fancy.

This unit was priced nice for the area! The room was super clean and had everything I needed. The kitchenette was perfect to help reduce eating out all the time!
They even left me a welcome gift of macadamia nuts, chocolate macs, granola bars and coffee along with a sweet personalized note to welcome me.
This was a perfect birthday trip for me!
The pool/spa were also great with a Tiki bar with Mark serving up delicious pina colodas and lava flows!! Sunrise is awesome with your morning coffee or yoga at the beach!!
Side note- the A/C was fixed after several negative reviews and is now quiet as a mouse and nice and cool!

We came to celebrate our anniversary and this place was perfect. Everything was provided for our beach excursions (chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear) and when we returned, there were plenty of pools, spas, bars, restaurants, and shops to explore. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We will return, and recommend to others!!

Pros- Cute resort, decent pool, and beach access. There was a cute beachside restaurant and shopping center within easy walking distance. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Cons - It came up in many other reviews, but that air-conditioning unit. It is loud and is not working great. If you turn the AC off to enjoy the balcony, it gets hot in the unit. Then the AC struggles to cool it back down. Also, the beach chairs it said were provided are no longer operable, we didn`t use the cooler bag, but it had seen better days, and the beach towels worked but are towards the end of life. Recommendation to the owner – Invest in fixing the AC and replace the chairs and beach towels. Increase the rent to cover the short-term investment and you will likely make more money in the long term. Recommendations for the traveler - There are a few resorts along this strip. All look nice with varying types of travelers they could cater to. This resort seemed to cater to middle-aged to retirees. There were pool parties throughout the day, and the BBQ was used multiple nights for group dinners. Everyone was nice and friendly. The parties never got loud or out of hand, and things quieted by sunset each day.

My wife and I stayed here and had a great time. The room was clean and check-in was a breeze. We loved sitting out on the patio every morning having our breakfast. The beach was never over crowded and we were always able to find lounge chairs at any time of day. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance, along with shops and a marketplace. We would definitely stay here again. If I had to mention something we didn't like, it would be the size of the kitchenette. There is very little counter space for any food at all, but we worked around that. Also, we could never get the AC as low as we would have liked, but it was still comfortable. All in all we loved it.

Our first VRBO experience to Kauai. The condo was great- close to the beach centered on the east shore and close to stores to help us with our stay.
It was a great home base to celebrate our daughter and Kauai natives wedding! We were able also explore the entire island and its incredible beauty!

Our first VRBO experience to Kauai. The condo was great- close to the beach centered on the east shore and close to stores to help us with our stay.
It was a great home base to celebrate our daughter and Kauai natives wedding! We were able also explore the entire island and its incredible beauty!

Not what we expected and if I could get a refund I would.
Let me first make you aware there is no elevator and it’s on the 3rd floor. Thank God my husband could carry our luggage up, because I could not. The room itself was not clean. The floor was so gross it made our feet black, yes, our feet were black so we started wearing shoes at all times. The bed is terrible, we did not have one good night of sleep. The sheets had blood stains and some other stains that were weird and just gross. There was no fitted sheet, it was a flat sheet. Which the sheets on the bed were king size on a queen bed but the blanket which i highly doubt had been cleaned was more for a full size bed it was too small. The A/C was like a fan and did not cool the room down. A box fan was in the room too and we had to have it running at all times in the room. Not fun having to listen to a box fan. The coffee pot is tiny and only makes two cups at a time. There was only one accessible outlet to charge phones and watch so we had to unplug the microwave and coffee pot to use that outlet. The decor is outdated and dirty, you could literally see the grime on the faux flowers. I’m pretty sure the shower head is at least 20+ years old. The pool doesn’t open until 9 and typically the only time there was good sun was early early in the morning. This side of the island is the cloudy side so if wanting a beach vacation this is not the resort for you. The bar was only open 3-9. I really wish there had been more honest reviews when we were booking because I would have kept looking for something else. We spent a week in Maui before heading to Kauai at a resort that our room had a full kitchen and was all completely updated and so incredibly nice that was $400 less for the week. This unit is incredibly overpriced for the quality and I’m so disappointed in our stay and absolutely would not return. We also had no communication from the owner aside from the first email with instructions on how to get the key to the unit. Having to deal with an actual key was a pain as well. Anymore you have a key code and can get right in.
If I were to say anything good, the hot water lasted long enough for both of us to shower. And the small marketplace in front of the resort was nice. The front desk staff was kind when checking in.
Oh and as a side note, everything around the island including shopping and restaurants all close by 8.

Nice but noisy. We did enjoy ourselves it was a very nice unit the problem was the air conditioning unit when it turned on and off at night when you were sleeping sounded like a high powered vacuum cleaner going on and off so it que pasa week the first two nights. We realize that if we turned the air conditioning down to its lowest setting it would make it stay on most of the night and we could actually finally sleep. That’s the only negative of staying in this condo.

Loved the location of the condo on the end of the building directly at the top of the stairs. Pls keep in mind it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator so if you have lots of bags, it's a LOT to carry up LOTS of stairs. However, it's a great space with a roomy bathroom, kitchenette and great balcony with views of the pool and ocean. Plus the tall table and chairs on the balcony were awesome so that you could see over the railing! The bed was smaller than expected and we were afraid to touch the love seat because it was so stained and dirty. The pool, hot tub and pool bar are great and steps from the condo and didn't provide any loud noise at night. However, the hot tub was always full! We enjoyed the drying rack on the balcony, as well as the beach towels and beach chairs/noodles - a nice touch! Great location with stores/restaurants in walking distance and we biked the 4-mile path near the complex, which was great! Easy check-in, lots of parking.

The property was as described. There were beach chairs and umbrella that we found helpful for Poipu beaches. We arrived after a large amount of rain which maid the beach on the property murky. Able to find a beach in Poipu with a short drive of 30 minutes or so. Also able to visit Hanalei with a 45 minute drive from the condo. Well located for travel around the island. Arriving in Kauai, we realized that we were in a place where we could get away from life for a while. This room allowed us to hear the ocean every night, and go explore everyday. Old Kapa'a was an quaint little town to explore and we enjoyed breakfast there everyday. 45 min drive to the North or South was very convenient as well as all of the food choices right outside where we were staying. Thank you for an amazing property.

Beautiful Grounds, great location. Very comfortable accommodation although the AC outdoor unit needs to be serviced or replaced. Noisy enough to not be able to run overnight. Overall a great stay. Would definitely book here again. On island contact was exceptional, had an issue with an electrical outlet and the got it corrected right away.

We absolutely loved the location, close to Lava, Lava; right on the ocean ; near the pool, jacuzzi and bar- perfect!There were problems with the condo: noise from AC unit was almost unbearable especially on the balcony where we loved to sit. Bathroom fan made a terrible noise and the outlets in the bathroom didn’t work.

We loved our week long stay in this efficiency style condo near Kapaa! The room had everything we needed; comfy bed, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and basic kitchen utensils. Our balcony overlooked to pool area and had a view through to the ocean. The grounds of the Aston Islander are lovely, the pool and hot tub are well cleaned and maintained, and the pool bar serves excellent pina coladas!

This studio condo was perfect in many ways for a couple. Its location was excellent.... beach front as well as nearby shops for convenience... food, market/groceries, deserts, etc. The view was amazing with sunset.... We had a great time. Also, working with HulaNow was very easy. Highly recommend.
