Best condo I’ve ever rented. It was overlooking the beach, had a very comfortable bed and cute lanai where we had our coffee and many of our meals. Beautiful grounds too!

This third floor ocean front corner unit is fantastic. It was totally clean, with a large sliding door out onto the balcony, with a window on one side. Both give great ocean views. The balcony is also open on the side so you see even more. The kitchenette had a rather large small fridge, microwave, full size coffee maker, and a full complement of dishes, glasses, silverware, utensils, and containers. Really anything you could ask for. The bed was super comfortable, and the wifi worked great. The bathroom was large and clean. I would not hesitate to stay in this unit again.

A beautiful little apartment. We didn’t spend too much time in the apartment however view over the ocean spectacular. Apartment is exactly how it was described and we even got welcome gifts on arrival.
We loved having PIN number to get into apartment.
Great location and complex was very clean and tidy.
Very handy to coconut village with lots of options for food and a little bit of shopping.

Loved the ocean view and closeness to Coconut Market. This was our 3rd stay in this unit, and it has been improved with a new air conditioner since our last visit. Room could benefit from a ceiling fan, and some beach chairs for tenant use.

My husband and I stayed at Kapaa Sands #9 for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! The enjoyed the breathtaking view from the balcony where we sat for many hours drinking coffee, eating lunch and watching the windsurfers. We especially enjoyed being away from the crowds at places like Poipu (we visited there later in the week and were so glad we had our little cottage at Kappa Sands.) I bounced between the balcony, the ocean beach just a few yards away, and the nice, clean pool. Only one minor concern - no air-conditioning, but it wasn’t horrible. We slept with the fan on and the slider open so we had a great breeze and the sound of the waves. LOVED THIS PLACE!!

It was such a joy to wake up to the sunrise every morning through the wide open sliding glass doors!

I love this condo! I want to come back. Even when raining it’s a lovely place to be. The balcony is so wonderful and the proximity to the ocean and sound of waves can’t be beat! Very well-equipped kitchen. Beach towels and chair too. The tv was difficult to figure out and instructions would be helpful as would a listing of channels. It’s quiet-except for the wind and ocean! I really enjoyed my short time here.

Central location made it easy to go on excursions in any direction! Great little bakery, half a block away, had home made malasadas on certain days of the week! The #9 Studio was very clean, lots of linens and basic necessities! The VIEW was unbelievable, right on the ocean! The little beach was perfect; sandy enough to sit and relax and then cool off in tide pool! We saw fishermen, surfers and even whales! No AC but ocean breeze was great; we even had to shut windows one morning because it was too cool!

We enjoyed our vacation experience immensely!! The unit we stayed in, 354, was fantastic, the view was amazing, the location was very convenient to everything. The only thing that put a damper on our vacation was the ROOSTERS!! They were everywhere, ****-a-doodling all day long, waking us up early morning, we were on vacation and wanted to rest and relax. We sure wish they could control them somehow! We went to Maui after we left Kauai and we hardly saw any, was finally able to sleep!! But the property at Islander On The Beach was exquisite, grounds so beautiful, nice pool! Overall we enjoyed our vacation! Wish our unit had a bigger kitchenette! But we so enjoyed our time sitting on the Lanai, eating some meals admiring the ocean view!!!

We really enjoyed our stayed. We had everything we needed. Beach umbrella, chairs, coolers, snorkel fins, etc. The bed was small eat if you are used to sharing a king bed. The views from the balcony are breathtaking.

This condo is next to the beach, grocery store and misc. shopping nearby, pretty much everything you need during your stay. Bed is comfortable, A/C is quite, and overall the stay was excellent. Only complaint is the mini fridge doesn`t have a freezer, but there is an ice machine close by. Recommend booking thru Hulanow which gave outstanding service. Would definitely stay again...

This was a great little spot in Wailua for our last 3 of 17 nights on Kauai. It's very small but had everything we needed along with an amazing view. My only suggestion would be to invest in a nice set of sheets. These were very warm as they are 100% polyester . Mahalo!

My family of 7 rented 4 different units at the Islander. Every unit was wonderful. This one was mine and was fantastic. Being an end unit, it was very private and quiet. Every morning I woke to a beautiful sunrise and at night went to sleep listening to the waves (being on the 3rd floor, I felt very comfortable leaving the door & drapes open ). We spent alot of time on the beach in the shade on the provided beach chairs. Also, enjoyed the pool that had plenty of lounge chairs. This unit was well stocked with utensils, no stove top but there are BBQs. There are plenty of places to eat but our favorite was the Lava Lava, which was right next door. Had breakfast, happy hour and a wonderful dinner with great music.This unit is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so you need to plan for age groups. I will definitely be coming again.

Terrific corner unit, perfect for 3 days! The location was super-convenient with shopping and restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and whales in the distance everyday from the lanai. The room was cozy, comfortable and perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay here again. The management kindly let us check in a little earlier and were quick to respond to our request to do so (since our flight got in earlier than expected).

This is a nice condo in a very nice location. The condo is relatively small and the kitchenette is very small. Your only option to cook is the cheap grills in the common area. The view is beautiful and the area was safe and quiet.

Location is great. Guests can easily walk to shops and beach. I appreciated that the unit is in a smallish complex and felt private. Unit quite comfortable, clean and appropriately furnished. There were no beach towels when we arrived, but they were delivered promptly. If I return to Kauai I would likely try to stay here again.

We loved this spot and each time we left to adventure we couldn't wait to return to our little home. Perfect for two and stocked with everything we could need to enjoy the wonderful semi private beach just seconds away from our studio. Warm blue waters, beautiful tropical fish and sea turtles! Bring goggles for snorkeling in the cove! Seriously the best spot we found on Kauai in October for daily swimming. The only issue we had was that we are light sleepers and the constant roaring ocean waves and roosters had a tendency to keep us from deep sleep. With that said, Kapaa Sands was a wonderful spot and we highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Kapaa Sands 9 and would highly recommend the unit for a couple or solo traveler visiting Kauai. The apartment overlooks a beautiful, quiet beach that is great for swimming, lounging and surfing. Snorkeling is possible on the left side of the beach (in front of a neighboring resort) but there isn't much to see. The beach is child friendly with rocks providing a break and creating a shallow wading pool directly in front of the unit. We also loved having Passion Bakery (try the malasadas!) and Scotty's surf shop within a block of the place. The unit itself is a small studio but has everything you could need. There is no air conditioning but the fans and ocean breeze were enough to keep us cool. There are beach chairs, two towels, fins, umbrella, cooler, and clothes line provided and coin operated laundry on site. We loved our stay and will be back!

Initial room (308) had no AC. Move us to 354 NO AC! All in 3 days no AC for 3 out of 6 days. VAL, on island ignored us. Do not rent these rooms (308/354) until they get the AC fixed and do not rent if VAL is the on island contact. She ignores customers. I will no stay here again knowing what I know now - ruined our trip and experience!

We loved the private beach access! This was such a cute stay. There were fans and the breeze was so nice. There is no AC like most places here, but that wasn’t a problem bc of the wind flow in the apartment. Nice amenities with beach chairs, towels, equipment you need for a fun beach day! Very peaceful when we walked in. There is also a pool which is nice. Location is also great. Thank you!!
