The open floor plan flows from the kitchen to the living area, extending out to the lanai's dining space.

If the Reservation is canceled at least 30 or more days before the reservation check-in date, the Guest will be refunded 97% of the initial deposit amount. Cancellations of less than 30 days will result in a 100% loss of all payments. This loss can be avoided if the cancelation waiver was purchased through Rental Guardian or a Travel Insurance provider of the Guest's choice. Aloha Kona Vacation Rentals does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as weather, road conditions, hurricane conditions, power outages, tsunamis, lava eruptions, or brush fires.

This is the first time on ground floor, enjoyed the garden area and an easy walk to both pools. Unit could use more silverware, and dishes along with a salad bowl, but it was nice the frig had an ice maker. Bathroom could use a good clean, mold in shower and drains full of hair. A/C worked really well.

Yes we are enjoying our stay - except for the delay in being able to get into our room at check-in. We understand that things can happen so it did not spoil our stay.
We are receiving this review on Friday morning February 3 but are not scheduled to leave until Monday Feb. 6. Hoping to continue our pleasant stay without any problems.

The entire complex was wonderful. The ocean pool, sandy beach and amazing sunsets were the best. Residents and guests alike are very friendly and social. The unit was well appointed and nice.

The fountain was broke. We couldn't use the salt water pool all the time(high tides) could use a table tennis area! The horn blowers were entertaining! Overall very relaxing! People were nice!

Beautiful property overlooking the ocean! Very tropical setting! It was nicely located in relationship to the town of Kailua Kona.
The unit we stayed in did not have an ocean view, but the interior tropical scenery was very serene. The staff was very friendly and kept the grounds very nice. There was a salt water pool and a regular pool. Our unit was very nice and clean with the most comfortable king bed! There were a couple of things missing, but after contacting the property manager she took care of it right away. She made herself available any time we had questions. I would recommend staying at Casa de Emdeko!
