We loved this condo! It had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, bright and airy, and roomy. I was nervous about only running the air conditioner at night when we were there, but within thirty to forty minutes the rooms were perfectly cooled down. The loft doesn't get cooled down, but the fans and breeze were enough to make it manageable.
I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Kihei!

Laura was a great host, she was very responsive with any questions or concerns that we had.
The condo was average, some renovations were completed on the main floor and bathrooms. The upstairs carpets needed replacing or at least a good cleaning and the bed covers were dated and needed replacing. These two things made it feel and smell dirty. The air conditioning was just small window units only in the bedrooms. Location was good, across from the beach.
Kitchen was well equipped. A good addition to the condo would be a drying rack for towels and swimsuits.

We have stayed at Hale Kamaole many times in various properties. This unit was fine, but the amenities (snorkel equipment, boogies boards and some chairs) were in need of replacement. The unit was comfortable, but is a bit dated and could have used a deep clean. That being said, it was affordable and overall a pleasant stay.

You have many things around you can go walking. Gifts shops, market , liquor store , beach is only 2 minutes walk . Very spacious place to stay.

Nice spot close to the pool and beach. Kids 6, 4, 1) had a great time. Plenty of room for sleeping with the 2 beds and loft area. Turtles at Kamaole III were a big hit. Great weather the whole trip and lots of vitamin D, to boost is up for the return of the NW rain and clouds.

Close to the beach. Spacious living area and rooms. Plenty of storage space for clothes. Both bedrooms had a TV with cable box and tons of on-demand entertainment. There were a ton of linens provided, plus many beach towels, a ton of bath towels. Two spacious bathrooms had full-size toiletries. Laundry in the unit and the host provided a big jug of laundry detergent. Lanai closet had beach chairs, body boards, beach toys, and Coolers, for enjoying a lazy afternoon at the beach. The host also provided tennis equipment and charcoal for grilling. We used the gas grills instead. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans. We used the storage containers from the kitchen to take food for day-long excursions. Overall the host is very kind to provide all the necessities and made our stay very comfortable. I will definitely stay here whenever we visit Maui again.

Unit #255 is fantastic! We've stayed in this complex many times before, and this unit is better appointed than any of the others we've rented in the past. Great location across from Kam III beach. Easy access to the highway and shopping.

Great unit in well located complex!
We stayed in this unit for 2 wonderful weeks and will definitely be back! The unit was bright and spacious with some great updates like the kitchen and tile floor. Overall it had a great ‘beachy’ look, which really added to the vacation feeling!
The kitchen had everything we needed and more, which was convenient for making meals in the condo. The beds were comfortable and the location in the complex was very quiet, which was great for sleeping in.
The lanai was nicely shaded and a great place to get out of the sun and enjoy the ocean views. The closet had beach chairs and coolers which came in really handy for days out and about on Maui.
The beach directly across the street was great for early morning swimming and sunsets. The complex is a short walk to shops and restaurants, but still far enough away from the ‘busy’ area for some relaxation.
The communication with Laura was quick and easy, and we would happily come back when on Maui again!

What a treat to be here. Condo is spacious and can accommodate up to 8 people. We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast on the Lanai that faces north with a spectacular view of Mauna Kahalawai (‘mountain that drips). We love that the lanai is shaded and appreciate the breezes that visit. Clean and well organized, the kitchen contains everything you need to prepare your own meals AND within walking distance to the beach and other amenities if you don’t feel like cooking. People are friendly and happy. We learned how to blow the conch at sunset, cooked outside on the BBQ every night and found out more about must sees and must dos in Maui. Perfect location. Highly recommended!

More than enough room for a couple, this spacious condo is conveniently located across the street from the beach, where we could walk over and watch the sun set multiple times without having to worry about parking. The property manager was so easy to communicate with and they gave us all the information we needed before we arrived. And they had plenty of recs and tips for things to do. We had more than enough supplies and amenities at the condo, including beach chairs and coolers; some of the furniture and linens had been updated recently as well. The owner clearly cared about the comfort and quality of our stay!

From booking to our arrival everything was smooth and easy! We got plenty of tips before our trip and had open communication with Laura if we needed anything. Once we got to the rental property we met with a great local office manager who gave us tips about local dining locations and things to do in Maui. The unit was spacious, clean, and very well kept. The amenities made our stay very comfortable and we felt like we had everything we needed.
There was parking right outside the unit, and a short walk across the street from Kamaole Beach III to go swimming and watch sunset/sunrise.

The unit is quite worn and in need of maintenance. Upper bedroom you could see through a hole in the wall to outside, lower bedroom AC runs off and on making aleep difficult. The unit needs an overall deep ckean, and duvees appear not washed in ages. Dishwasher has black mold so washed dishes by hand. Door knobs loose, toilet flushes intermittently, etc, etc . It is in a great complex, nice views, lots of beach toys, great pool and tennis courts. Walking distance to restaurants. Pretty landscaping.

Property had everything our family needed and was clean with the exception of the air conditioning units. Could not use as a result. The owner by way of property manager made arrangements to provide extra fans which helped to cool the property at night. The owner went above and beyond regarding replacing the air conditioning units during our stay. Communication was excellent with the owner and the second half of our stay was nice and cool. I would recommend this property for a family vacation.

This is an older property that has some updates. Kitchen had lots of supplies and towels were adequate. It was nice to have enough beds for our family of five. However, we found the unit to be quite hot and uncomfortable. The older air conditioners were not much help. I think the unit needs some repairs - windows were old and difficult to open, back sliding door was off its track and hard to lock, and the towel bar in the bathroom fell off. The unit next door was remodeling so there was some construction noise during the day. We enjoyed the pool and grounds but not the unit as much.

We liked being in this area. The walk-able beach was one of our favorites. And the condo complex was nice. The pools and common areas were very clean and nice. We liked the space that the condo provided and the washer and dryer came in so handy! The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels for showering and for taking to the beach. We also liked the chairs and other beach supplies in the closet. We were hoping for more usable boogie boards - one was ok the other one wasn't really functional so we rented one from boss frogs. When we first entered the condo we were concerned because it felt sort of run down...the paint was beat up and chipped/scraped in lots of places, and the carpet is pretty worn out/dingy....but the kitchen was nice, the tile in the main area is great, so is the seating area, the lanai was nice for seeing the ocean while eating breakfast. There is a window ac unit in the bedroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. So that was helpful, but it was very hot in the other parts of the condo except for early morning and at night. We followed protocols for shutting things when hot and opening them up when it was cool. But it wasn't pleasant being in the condo during the afternoons. I think this may be a common situation for Maui but worth a mention. (We were there in early June).

Easy going condo with 3 distinct sleeping areas. Convenient for a morning stroll to get coffee, walk to beach or relax in pool area. Condo felt safe was quiet and convenient parking. It was well equipped with supplies to make the vacation more enjoyable. Great communication/response from property management.

The pictures were a little deceiving. It didn’t have the same couch or the dining chairs. The bedding was outdated and dingy. The pillows were lumpy & dirty. Other than that it was a great place to stay. Just spend a bit more on the bedding & it would be much better. The closet was stocked with lots of beach items. The fans could use some dusting, very dirty fans. Great location, grounds are gorgeous but building itself a bit old.

We regularly vacation in Kihei and have stayed in various condos on this property and this was the best place, to date! With 3 bedroom areas (counting the loft), our kids had their own spaces (thus fewer fights ;-)) for our family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of beach gear to borrow. The only thing that would make the entire property better is if the pool was a little warmer. They don’t heat it nor have a hot tub, so the kids (and us) get too cold to swim as long compared to the places with heated pools or hot tubs. But this particular unit.. is a real gem. Thank you for the wonderful place to make memories!

Checked in with ease. Condo is comfortable and clean with extra towels/pillows available. Chairs and beach towels/toys are also available for use. The tennis court, grilling area, and pool are visible from the lanai. My family and I would stay here again and would recommend this condo for large families wanting to stay together and have a fully equipped kitchen.
