The living room features carpeting and is fully furnished to include a comfy sofa, a lounger, and a dining space that seats four guests featuring the view. Opening the living room doors is a wonderful way to relish the breeze. Consider catching up on the local news on the flat-screen cable TV.

3. Honokowai Beach Park: great for snorkeling due to the shallow, reef-protected beach, Children’s playground area, plenty of shade, tables, and BBQ grills

We were bit and covered in bed big bites. Despite showing chasing rainbows pictures they claimed that there were no bed bugs. After a struggle they let me out of our last two nights and comped us. Third but we were forced to move rooms costing us way more than the original trip cost. I requested a Compass the trip and it’s entirety to offset the additional cost or work something out and they continue to take the position that there were no big bugs and they were ignoring our requests. We will be challenging the charges with our bank and posting pictures of the bites if chasing rainbows does not take responsibility. The AK Villas are great especially the staff. But chasing rainbows management company really dropped the ball here (which is especially disappointing since I’ve stayed with them dozens of times this exact hotel)

For the price/night it did not meet our expectations. We come to Maui frequently and this unit was the poorest for the cost/night. Last year we spent less money on a different property that had a partial ocean view, lovely furnishings, a great bed, a well-stocked kitchen, and a beautiful lanai. The mattresses and sheets in this unit are of poor quality and the sheets are ill fitting; do not stay on the bed through a night’s sleep. The bed was a crumpled mess every morning. The were pesky gnats inside the condo. The kitchen was minimally equipped with the necessities. The bar stools were the wrong height for the bar level countertop so you couldn’t really use them. Everything seemed to be done on the cheap down to the Kleenex and toilet paper. This is fine if you are staying at a Motel 6. I think you expect that. It is not great when you are spending north of $700/night. Keep in mind, even though a place like this rented for $465.50/night. After taxes, the additional charges, the hotel parking fee and the VRBO fee, you are looking at ~$715/night!!! While I knew there wasn’t going to be one, honestly, I really missed not having a lanai as well.

This was an amazing room plenty of space perfect amenities! They were super easy to communicate with and the area has everything you need beach within easy walking distance wonderful pool awsome restaurant!
