We booked a last minute trip to Maui and didn't have the luxury of many lodging choices. We were excited when we found a condo at the Kaleialoha condo complex. This was our 4th time staying at this complex but our first time staying in this specific unit.
We did run into a bit of a hiccup when checking in. I contacted the manager ahead of time requesting early check in at 1pm. The manager confirmed this was ok and that he would schedule cleaning earlier. When we arrived around 2pm we had still not received check in instructions. We ended up having to call to get the check-in info. Upon arrival, the cleaning staff was still there so we dropped our stuff off and sat outside until they were done. Not a huge deal but a bit of a bummer after a long day of travel.
The unit was well stocked with kitchen and beach essentials but overall the unit lacked cleanliness that I hoped to see. There was food still in the refrigerator, the walls were dirty and the bathtub was pretty grimy as well.
All the other units we've stayed in have provided a welcome basket with some snacks, local coffee and a guide to the area but there wasn't anything like that here. Not essential, but it would have been nice to have.
I can't say enough good things about this condo complex, however. It has 4 floors, limited rooms, beach access and direct ocean views in most rooms. We will definitely be back to this condo complex but probably won't stay in this unit again.

Ray was a fine host for this ocean front condo. He was responsive to all matters immediately such as when I locked myself out. The view of whales and interaction with the Turtles outside your condo was amazing. The grassy area outdoors with lounge chairs is super easy to get to and great for photo taking and relaxing. The appliances worked well and Ray has it set up with fans in thoughtful locations. Overall a great stay.

The condo was just as listed on line. The balcony overlooks the ocean and has amazing sunsets. The condo was conveniently located to beaches and dining. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking and eating supplies. The air conditioning was very much needed and the bed was very comfortable. Whale watching from the balcony was awesome. Lahaina’s front street was a little farther than we thought though. All in all it was a great place to stay!

We literally could have sat on the balcony the entire trip! The view was spectacular - we watched whales breaching, turtles swimming up close to shore and gorgeous sunsets every night. The unit is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and everything worked as it should. We would definitely recommend this condo unit to anyone visiting Maui.

This property has a West facing balcony and a fabulous view of the humpback whales and sunsets. Bring binoculars and watch the whales! We thoroughly enjoyed it, seeing whales every day during our trip. Who needs a boat?!
The unit is well equipped for a couple and the owner is highly responsive. Rent with confidence! The bed is also very comfortable. :)

I highly recommend this unit and property. I’ve been coming to Maui for 25 years and this one of the best units. It was clean, updated, and right on the water. Best thing was going to bed hearing the waves, and waking up hearing the waves. This condo has everything you need for a short to long stay. Thank you Ray for having us. Had all the kitchen supplies needed to eat in which we chose to do for most of our meals. We enjoyed eating on the deck watching the ocean sunsets. Bed and pillows super comfy. We were happy to see it came with beach towels and chairs, cooler and boogie board which we used a lot to go snorkeling.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views are gorgeous and we had all the supplies we needed for our stay. The house was super clean, looks modern compared to most other places in Maui and the host was very responsive. We would definitely come back and stay here.
