Great stay along with another family also staying at Poipu Sands. Loved to watch kids run on the grass, easy access to pool, comfy bed and fans were enough to keep us cool.

The highlight of this property is the location. It is an easy walk to beaches and access to multiple pools. There was also a cooler and beach chairs/umbrella to take with you on your beach adventures. The listing does say AC, although there was no AC in the unit (there were several fans though). Having access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was also a plus as we were able to take advantage of their departure pass program (for an extra fee) on our final day and enjoyed the pool/amenities for several more hours before leaving for a late night flight. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, the team at Suite Paradise, the management company, were amazing and solved our problems! The kitchen lacked a few necessities that we had to go and purchase.

The difference 7 years makes... We stayed here 7 years ago, maybe even the same unit--?? We love the location and walking distance to the beach. We love the condo design and maintenance of the grounds. The outside pool was wonderful, as was the one at the club. And the management company staff are super friendly and helpful. Even the weather was perfect. Due to an airline cancelation of our direct flight trip Christmas day (ice storms happen) we spent only four of the 8 nights we paid for (that's over $3,000 non-refundable loss). Be forewarned! Cons--There were only 3 washcloths for our entire visit. The bed was so high, I was worried about falling out. (The management was kind enough to supply an extra pad for that rock hard mattress.) There was practically nothing in the first aid kit--(that's a big safety deal with me). We appreciated the coffee, but having zero supplies in the kitchen is a bit ridiculous (yes, we read about the COVID restrictions). But having a spray cooking oil on hand seems a basic no-brainer so the pans aren't spoiled. We couldn't believe how crowded the entire area of Poipu has become. Brennekes beach on New Year's Eve...a mosh pit with barely one lane to drive! What has happened to sleepy little Poipu?? When we extended our stay in a Princeville location, we were greeted by Hawaiian music playing in the background. We found Kauai coffee, a box of macadamia chocolates, a Kukui bead necklace, and shortbread cookies on the kitchen table. The kitchen has a few spices and avocado cooking oil. Cons--no beach in walking distance, a bit more rain, and there were still crowds everywhere. The biggest difference--? HALF THE COST. I know everyone has been hit hard by the pandemic. And I appreciate those few workers who continue to show up to work every day, like the friendly security gal working at Poipu Sands until 2 a.m. New Year's Eve. But not every family who comes for a visit is rolling in the big bucks. Some of us save for years, only to have weather and an understaffed airlines throw a wrench into our plans. At least we got here, for which we're thankful. But the exorbitant cost of everything makes me sad, because the true island charm is its tropical beauty and Aloha spirit. How do Hawaiians afford to live here?

Wow!! Sat on the lanai and looked out at the beautiful very blue ocean and watched the whales. Perfect view. Such a lovely area. Nice walk to Hyatt. Beautiful hiking path along ocean. Saw the sea turtles every morning. Loved the pool. Walking distance to beach and a cute sports bar. Really enjoyed our stay.

This place has a perfect location, but the unit itself is in dire need of updating. The mattress is as hard as a brick. Drawers in the kitchen look new, but aren’t. Hard to get a good breeze going in the unit.

Clean, easy access, property manager was attentive. Close to food, the beach. Only downside was no AC but we survived.

We’d never stayed in a bottom floor unit before but it was wonderful. So nice to not have to lug beach chairs, groceries, suitcases up flights of stairs. Condo was very clean (and I’m a clean freak), plenty of towels, beach chairs, boogie boards even suntan lotion. The kitchen was missing some basics. There was only 1 sharp knife and kitchen supplies I’ve come to expect renting a condo were non existence. There was a tiny bottle of dish soap. Maybe enough for a few days (we were there 10) a sponge, 4 dishwasher pods and 1 washing machine soap packet and that was it. Usually things are left from previous renters basic things like aluminum foil, maybe plastic wrap or salt and pepper would have been nice. I had to go the second day to buy a bar of soap to take a shower.
