The property showed signs of typical wear and tear associated with its age, but was very clean. All essential amenities were thoughtfully supplied, including cooking utensils, condiments, bathroom toiletries, bath and beach towels, as well as laundry and dish detergent. The property is conveniently within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, cafes, and a general store, although you may need to drive approximately 5 minutes to reach the nearest grocery store. Only noticeable problem was no A/C unit, which was not a big deal. Overall, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable with no issues to report

Overall is ok. One thing, I have chose in filter at VBRO air conditioning at the unit and this unit in some case was selected, but when we arrived, there were only fans. My parents have health issues, so for them were hard to be without air conditioning. Also, I was surprised that bathrooms don't have a ventilation. After toilet it wasn't fresh air in the bedrooms. These are only two issues we have experienced. Others were really good!!!

The place was a bit worn. When we pulled out the couch to sleep on, it was dirty with stains on the mattress cover and crumbs all over it. No ice maker was also a drag. It is a short walk to the beach, and no beach in site from the balcony. Overall it was just ok. I would not book again.

Our stay in Kihei was amazing thanks to this place! The condo had everything we needed, including chairs and an umbrella for the beach. It was clean and well kept. The staff was super nice and accommodating. My favorite part was the location. It is right across the street from a beautiful beach. There are also restaurants and shop close by. The area didn't feel super crowded or touisty, but there was lots to do within walking distance.

It was our first to Maui so we weren't familiar with the area. But as it turned out, Kihea was a great choice as was this VRBO property. There are both residents and visitors in the complex and everyone properly observed the quiet hours.

We arrived late but the instructions given via email was very helpful. The place was spec and span, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and the living room are well organized, perfect for our short stay. It’s walking distance to the beach. It is quiet, the only sound you hear are the chirping birds. The office staff were likable. I highly recommend this place

Our family (5 of us)thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi C-319. The rental is a bit out dated but clean. It had all the amenities described. The time inside is slight in comparison to the paradise right outside your door and the large glass door leading to the lanai invites that beauty inside anyway! It is centrally located and having a rental car took us to sights all around the island, the volcano, road to Hana, Lahaina, Costco, Walmart, 20 minutes-ish from airport, etc. We even did an excusion to Molokini, we saw many whales from land and boat as well as sea turtles! Maui did not dissapoint, and Kihei Akahi C-319 was comfortable enough to come back to each day!

We had a great stay at Kihei Akahi. Our group had 3 condos for this stay. Our condo was nice, but could use some air conditioning. We were aware when we booked that it did not have AC. July is miserably humid and AC would have been nice to have. I also reported a couple of minor issues. They responded quickly and with my permission said they would address the issues after we checked out. Hopefully they did this before the next guests.
Overall, everything was great and we would definitely stay at Kihei Akahi again, but in a unit with AC.

The property is well taken care of, lots of flowers. We enjoyed being right across from the beach and the 2 pools and bbqs were great
The unit is spacious and we enjoyed the lanai. There were beach chairs but no umbrella or boogie boards.
We were missing some cleaning items but once we told them they were delivered right away. No air conditioning but if the doors were left open there was a good breeze.

The place was ok . It sure needs a deep cleaning with the windows and the screens but the place was dirty throughout the unit . fans didn’t work as much . So we suffered a bit .
It sure was in a great walking distance from the beach .

I knew I wanted something in Kihei within walking distance to a good beach. What I got was a location within walking distance to two great beaches, paddle board and snorkeling rentals, and dozens of restaurants and many shops! We only used our car rental to leave Kihei. The shops at Wailea are less than a ten minute drive. We snorkeled at Black Rock Beach in Lahaina one morning and it only took us about 40 minutes to get there. The airport food trucks, which are so delicious, are about 25 minutes away right across from Costco and more across from Costco gas.
The floor plan of the condo was great for our girls trip! Even though there is no a/c in the unit, the portable fans in each room combined with the open windows cooled us off enough at night that we slept comfortably.
I can’t think of one reason not to stay here!

Great stay at this condo. It’s very spacious, centrally located and homey. They stock some beach gear for your use as well. Kitchen was well stocked as well. We were nervous about being a corner unit near parking lot but noice from cars didn’t bother us at all. Wish we were back there now!
