Everything that is pictured is accurate. The property is a hidden gem, away from the huge crowds. It is close to everything that you need. Many things are within walking distance. Airport is 10 minutes away. Costco is 15 minutes away. Owners are very nice to work with. Air-conditioning is wonderful. The view is wonderful.

The property is beautiful, well maintained and conveniently located. Our unit was very clean, and had everything we needed. We had an issue with the Internet the first day, but the host was very responsive and had it up and working the following morning.
Keep in mind this is a 3rd level unit with no elevator, so could be an issue if you have mobility issues.
We will definitely be returning to this property/unit.

It was easy to make ourselves at home in this beautiful home. The patio view was spectacular! The home is perfectly furnished and it had everything that you could possibly need from the kitchen to the beach. They thought of everything! The central location made it easy to explore the entire island with just a short drive. It’s close the the airport. Loved the surrounding markets, coffee shops, live entertainment and too many restaurants to count, all within walking distance. The host was wonderful and let us stay until our red eye flight left, which I forgot to ask for until the day before we departed. The entire cleaning schedule was rearranged to accommodate us! Can’t wait to take our family to experience the beauty.

Loved the property! There was a problem with opening the gate to the complex as the arrival doc had one gate code which was wrong at the top of the document. Much further in the doc was the correct gate code. That was our only real issue with the place. It is well appointed, great views, easily walkable along the beach to Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant, and along the road to Coconut Marketplace.
Unit has a drip coffeemaker and filters, just bring your own coffee. It also has dishwasher soap and laundry soap. Previous renters have left a bevy of sunscreen and bug spray in the laundry room, so check there before purchasing any.

My wife and I had a great stay at Lae Nani. The view was perfect and the beds/living spaces were very comfortable. This unit was very well stocked with all of the minor necessities such as cooking spices, bug spray, sunscreen, dishwashing detergent, laundry pods, etc. This made our stay MUCH easier by not having to worry about all the small things. Great place and we would definitely recommend and stay here again!!

Really great accommodations and the location was perfect! We never even used the A/C or fans, just had the windows and sliders open to allow the breeze to flow in. Had a great 5-night stay at this location in June. Close enough to everything we needed, yet didn't feel like a tourist. Everything was as listed or pictured, and there were even some basic sealed non-perishables and spices available (we also left some behind to "pay it forward" for the next guests). Grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Grills appear to be cleaned almost daily. The beach has areas that are more calm, and others that are great for bobbing on waves. Low tide reveals a partly rocky shoreline for exploration (bring water shoes). There is a marketplace that is easily walkable distance, with small grocery, restaurants, and shops. Just a short drive away is a larger restaurant and shopping area. Our contact Devin was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Note that unit is on 3rd (top) floor, and there are no elevators. Would definitely stay here again!!

I have been to the Waikoloa area of the Big Island on 6 or so occasions and stayed in the Kolea complex 3 of those times so I am reasonably familiar with the facilities and layout of the complex. When I was first looking for a condo in Kolea for my recent trip I found 14F advertised by VRBO that seemed perfect for me as it was listed as a 1 bedroom unit and it was just me staying there (#294655ha). However, upon arrival it was actually a 2 bedroom, the 2nd bedroom having 2 single beds. The layout was identical to16F my friends and I stayed at just 5 months earlier. Unfortunately, unlike 16F I could not shower using the master bedroom shower because I could not get it to run. I suspect the minerals in the water had seized the mechanism so I was unable to get any water flow. Fortunately the shower in the 2nd bedroom did work but the tap mechanism was quite stiff. Also the fridge ice maker didn't work. The water dispenser did work but I didn't use it because I had no idea if or when the filter had been last replaced. The other things lacking were beach towels and beach "gear" that all the other units I've stayed in supplied. I did find a beach towel in one of the cupboards so I didn't have to use any of the bathroom towels. There was also some miscommunication with the condo code which required a phone call to get resolved. However, 14F is a lovely condo and over all the issues I encountered were just a bit disappointing considering how nice the Kolea complex is.

This condo is located in a spectacular location- halfway between Hanalei and Poipu Beach, and only 15 min to the airport. You walk through the gorgeous landscaped gardens along the beach and right next to it is the Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant. What a great find. You can easily walk to the Coconut Marketplace for fun shopping or a couple of restaurants too. Previous reviews have noted the stairs being cumbersome. I have somewhat limited mobility and did just fine. The stairs aren't steep and it is totally worth it. The condo is exactly as it is pictured- probably even better actually. It was perfectly cleaned as well. The kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything that you could possibly need to cook with. You really just need to bring coffee (they have a drip coffeemaker)- they had filters, shampoo/conditioner and sunscreen plus your personal items. I loved the air conditioning with all the humidity. The large pool was kept extremely clean and the grounds were meticulously maintained. My 13 year granddaughte loved it. The communication was wonderful. I would so highly recommend this unit for many reasons.

We did ask on two separate occasions to have one of the bedrooms set up with two twin beds upon our arrival, management or owners told us both times it would be......to no avail.....bit of a bummer to have adult brother and sister sleeping in a king bed. No idea where extra sheets were to split the beds ourselves, so it had to stay that way for the duration of our trip. If you say you're going to do something, DO IT! Or at least provide the sheets to enable us to do it.....frustrating.
Tennis court closes at 5:30pm for some silly reason.....best time of the day to play tennis, and courts close promptly at 5:30 PM, who's in charge of making reasonable rules?
Kitchen is small, fairly well stocked, but it should be outfitted with BBQ tools.....nice Weber BBQ set up out near the pool, and some spatulas & tongs are out there, but who in the heck knows how much raw chicken or nasty stuff is on the tools hanging at the HOA BBQ spot? Kind of gross....providing a BBQ spatula and tongs at the property would be nice for future guests.
No beach toys, no umbrellas, no cooler. Not that your website said there would be any.....but for the $$ you spend on a condo rental, and being right on the beach, it would be nice to have a chair and a small cooler, just an idea that costs oh-so-little to provide for your guests.

This is a 3rd floor walk up stairs only condo with the BEST VIEW EVER! It overlooks the pool and bay and we could have just sat on the lanai the whole time and been happy. The grounds are beautifully kept. Parking was easy. Super close walk to Coconut marketplace and Lava Lava Beach Club. Calmer areas for swimming but also places to just sit and watch the waves. Kitchen and full size dining room table.

We could not have been more pleased with this condo that we had for two weeks! It was a perfect location for all the activities that we had planned. We also drove to the north shore and south shore of the island which were very convenient from here. The condo had everything we needed including umbrellas for those rainy days. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sleeping arrangements along with two bathrooms were perfect for us two couples. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the ocean waves enjoying a cocktail. The pool area was also great with the heated pool and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We loved being able to walk to the Coconut Market and the Lava Lava restaurant which was right next-door. When we make a return to Kauai we will certainly stay here again. Thank you for making our trip to this beautiful island even more memorable!

This is a really nice condo in a great location. It has been beautifully upgraded and was equipped with everything we could have possibl6y needed. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the island and within walking distance of some of the best restaurants on the island.

Aloha, The breathtaking view of 233 is was captured us, yes same as photo, I think this was the best view. The A/C was cool just how we like for sleeping. The beds were comfortable and chose 2 twin for Rob to have his own bed. We used tap water for coffee, bottle for tours. Washer and dryer is nice to have in the condo. The place is very clean and quiet. The owners were kind and easy texting with. Grilling fresh fish from Safeway was great. Pool is clean and decent size. The gardens and landscaping are beautiful and taking a walk along side the sacred stones to Lava Lava restaurant was fun. Sleeping seal and baby chicks are cute. And of course the ocean was awesome. Waves were fun to be in. Down the road is Lydgate beach for less waves, snorkeling, swimming and lifeguards. There is also plantation History at Lae Nani and was mentioned on our Smith river boat tour to fern grotto. The Kauai museum in Lihue has old maps of the area also. Love the central location, one day was north to the lighthouse, Hanalei bay, and Princeville, the next day was south to Poipu beach, Waimea canyon and Kauai coffee. Lots of shopping in the area, walk to The Marketplace or drive down the road to downtown Kapa’a. We had wonderful weather and a great time. This rental is in a great location in Kauai. The condo has amazing views, probably the best in the complex. You’ll have 2 balconies and you could fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. There is air conditioning which is rare in this complex. We were grateful to have it as it was quite warm. Owner had a closet full of chairs, cooler and boogie boards. You’ll love the short walk to the Coconut Marketplace and the restaurant next door with nightly live music. ( Lava Lava Beach

This rental is in a great location in Kauai. The condo has amazing views, probably the best in the complex. You’ll have 2 balconies and you could fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. There is air conditioning which is rare in this complex. We were grateful to have it as it was quite warm. Owner had a closet full of chairs, cooler and boogie boards. You’ll love the short walk to the Coconut Marketplace and the restaurant next door with nightly live music. ( Lava Lava Beach

Loved our visit! We have stayed at Lae Nani several times and it always makes us smile! This condo was not quite as updated as the others we have visited but was very comfortable clean and nice all the same! The grounds are beautiful and I love the close access to our very own beach! We can’t wait to visit again!!!

Second time on Kauai and loved this location. Centrally located on island. Beautiful condo with everything you need. The view from the lanai was spectacular over morning coffee or a quick jaunt up the beach for an amazing sunrise! Would 100% stay here again!

Our family, including our two teenage daughters enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, spacious, and well equipped. We really appreciated the towels, beach chairs, and cooler that the owners provided. We did encounter a few electrical issues during our stay that were quickly addressed by the owners. We would definitely stay here again!!

The first thing you see when you open the door is the incredible view of the ocean. We completely relaxed here. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessities to make a nice meal. The beds are very comfortable and it’s steps to the beach. Highly recommend.

Loved this condo, just as pictured. Has beach chairs, umbrella and a small cooler. Beach access is great and there is a really good restaurant on the beach that you can walk to. Beds are comfy!
