This was the perfect place for us! We wanted a balcony with ocean view. The view is the ocean AND the mountains too! The landscape was constantly changing, with sun, fog, clouds, rain, rainbows. This huge balcony was the perfect place to watch it all.
Princeville is generally very quiet, and there is a great restaurant right on the property, Happy Talk. We loved it.
The condo itself is dated, but the full kitchen did have rather new appliances. We cooked there for several meals. Plenty of dishes, cookware and even cooking oil, a few spices. Bring your own foil and plastic wrap. The furniture was in great shape and very comfortable. I loved the bedding, soft sheets and fluffy towels. There were plenty of all of those. The large washer and dryer worked well. Several laundry and dishwasher tablets were provided.
We were supposed to be provided with 2 rolls of paper towels but we were only given half a roll. No big deal, but when the manager called us, we asked about the paper towels and she said we needed to send her a picture of the half roll and then arrange to meet someone to pick more up and they couldn't just drop them at our room. OK...well, we weren't in the room at the time of the phone call, so we bought our own paper towels. That just seemed inconvenient in my opinion. And only two rolls of toilet paper are provided. Again, for the price of the place we think the paper towels and plenty of toilet paper should have been provided.

We absolutely loved this place for its pristine location and gorgeous ocean/mountain views! The place itself is wonderfully decorated with art representing the local culture/island. It’s quiet, roomy, comfortable and peaceful (something we were looking for in this vacation). We will come back next Dic and hope we can get the exact same place! There are a few things that we think would make a stay even better: the mattress should be replaced. The bed is extremely high, not ideal for shorter people like my wife. The tub urgently needs an anti-slip mat because it gets super slippery in there and I almost had a bad fall. Other than that: what an incredible spot! We had a great time and we devoted a whole day to spend it in this place just to enjoy the stunning views…and the mesmerizing sound of rain. So lovely! Thank you! José and Maggie.

Beautiful property. Needing to get around by golf cart or walk wasn’t inconvenient. Fast response from the front desk if you need a ride. Beautiful Lania made it so we could sit outside even when it was raining.

The condo was lovely with amazing views!
Played lots of tennis which we really enjoyed the setting of being in a tropical garden and bird sanctuary. Pools were great. Loved the proximity of Anini beach for snorkeling. Had a wonderful vacation.

Condo was spacious and clean! Furniture was very comfortable. Going in summer, A/C was key and worked well. Bedroom was cool even though unit was in the living room. The unit is down a hill at the edge of property, which lead to beautiful views but a small walk. Not an issue, just noting. Resort overall had great food, amenities, and beach. Short drive to Princeville and Hanalei. Would stay here again!

Loved this place. Tons of space, great living room with TV and large kitchen with everything you’d need. Porch was incredible for sunsets in the evenings and brunches out in the morning. Would totally stay here again. HBR access is huge perk with the pool and beach easily accessible. Others have notes the walk to the parking, which is true, but if you know this going in it’s totally expected and not a big deal. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks for hosting!

The spa had been broken for a few weeks before our stay, and we weren't notified. The pool heating was either broken, or the pool isn't heated.
The host does not respond through VRBO, they just ignore messages. You need to contact them through their own app.
It's a nice spot, but I probably wouldn't rent through Vacasa again.

This was the first time we have stayed in the resort and were pleasantly surprised. Although the property is in a large resort, it was very quiet and pleasant. The view off the lanai of Hanalai bay was spectacular!
The condo had everything you would need to prepare meals and relax! The only issue we had was with the adjoining room (looked like it could be part of the condo). The door was paper thin and you could hear every word the guests in the adjoining room were saying. I might suggest adding soundproofing to the door to help diminish the noise.
Overall a beautiful property and worth taking a look at it!

Property was well cared for, and lovely. Nice location.
It would be helpful to state that there is absolutely NO housekeeping services provided for the duration of your stay - you are expected to do your own towels and laundry, which was a surprise to us, especially for the price charged per night.

- No ugly here! - Very nice condo with awesome view as advertised on the VRBO site.
- The beach access from the condo is a rather long and hilly hump to the beach & back but yes there is beach access.
- The condo we rented was at the very end of property and a pretty good walk from the parking lot. Fortunately there are resort golf carts & drivers to help you to/from your car & condo.
- The condo posting stated there would be a security lock box/safe in the unit. There is a security lock box/safe in the unit's closet but the key that is supposed to be left in the lock for renters was missing so we couldn't use it during our entire trip and had to basically hide any valuables around the condo while we were out. Tried contacting the Hanalei Bay resort folks, VRBO, and and the KPRE rental company etc., to no avail.
- Over all a really nice condo!

Property and unit were beyond expectations. When I booked I had advised mgmt company of red eye flight and requested late checkout for $$$., 10 days prior to arrival, once again requested. No response from mgmt co. Now it is time to checkout…I must leave at 10 am and now have 13 hours to kill. Not a great way to end a trip.

This unit is exactly as shown in the pictures. You can't go wrong if you want a spacious, well furnished unit with an outstanding ocean view! We would most definitely choose this unit on our next trip to Hanalei Bay!!!
