Step inside this top-floor condo to find some of the best views in the resort. The living space is furnished in Hawaiian style, offering air-conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a lanai that's accessed from both the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom features a king-size bed while the loft has two double beds.
Hanalei Bay Resort is one of the premier properties on Kauai. Nestled on 22 acres along the beautiful coastline of the North Shore, the resort abounds with tropical foliage and amazing views of the green mountains, waterfalls, tropical sunsets over Bali Hai, and the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. In this spot overlooking Hanalei Bay, you'll be steps from a white-sand beach located below the resort.
Originally built as a tennis resort, the property still features some of the finest tennis facilities on the island. Enjoy access to eight tennis courts, a tennis pro shop, bell and shuttle service, beach gear rentals, a lagoon-style saltwater pool designed for family fun, and a quieter, smaller pool for those looking for something a little more relaxing. Hanalei Bay Resort also boasts close proximity to many North Shore attractions, shops, and two of Kauai’s best golf courses.
THINGS TO KNOW
Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors. Sounds may be audible between connecting doors.
Hanalei Bay Resort fees are due at check-in to the resort and are collected by the front desk. These include a one-time fee of $50 per reservation, a reservation fee of $6.75 for every non-owner reservation request, a $25 a day resort fee, and a $20 fee per car a day for parking.
Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Due to staffing shortages caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the hotel restaurant and bars may be periodically closed.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC.
Hanalei Bay Resort swim-up pool bar is indefinitely closed.
This is a privately owned unit in a resort. Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We loved our stay at 7306 and only regret not spending more nights on the north shore! The home was even more beautiful than the photos show and the view can’t be beat. The furnishings were very comfortable and updated, and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook small meals during our stay. Thank you for sharing this home with us! We will definitely be back!

This property seemed to be in the middle of a renovation. Once the reno is complete I am sure it will be a lovely condo. But when we stayed there there were missing baseboards and nails sticking out in places. The toilet wax seal was sticking out of the side of the toilet base. The bathroom door was really damaged. The countertops had recently been replaced but the clean up from that was not done well. We found chalky grime from the countertop installation inside all the cabinets and had to wash all the dishes before we used them. The bathtub was very dirty and because we had a toddler I had to re clean the tub before we could use it. Overall we were not impressed. Hanalei Bay Resort itself is amazing and the staff and facilities are excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Hanalei Bay Resort. It was the perfect size for our family of four and had everything we needed for our stay. Pools on the property are well kept, grounds are beautiful, and the condo was clean and spacious.

Loved our view of the mountains and ocean! We took numerous pictures of rainbows and not just a slice of the bow... both ends in vivid color! While enjoying our morning coffee on the awesome lanai, we had a cute little bird visit us, we watched the NeNe's come & go, and got a kick out of the rooster! Used both pools & the gym, our dinner at Happy Talk had a spectacular view, and thankful for Wiki pizza being onsite! Interesting walks to & from the parking lot and beach... not impossible but grateful that if your legs were not in shape, we had the option to take the shuttle! Recommendation: consider upgrading the kitchen and bathroom to match the quality of the rest of the room.

The view from this unit is incredible! It’s a good sized condo, definitely more space than we needed for two people but was great to have. Comfortable bed, comfortable big couch. Thanks to us you get to use a brand new toilet! Ha a little mishap, We had a situation with a shelf falling on the toilet cracking it. Vacasa was great, they expeditiously got a new toilet installed and kept us updated with good communication.
They provided some goodies as a welcome gift and we loved those!
It’s a bit of a walk to your car which we don’t mind, but if you have groceries or just don’t want to walk it’s not a problem as the property will drive you in a golf cart. The path to the beach is really cool. At the bottom of the path there is a lovely tiki bar that is part of another resort but we were able to sit at the bar and buy some beverages. Check in was smooth and all of the employees are very friendly. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

View is amazing. However unit is really in need of an update. Furniture is out dated. Kitchen is bare bones. Bathroom had a weird bar in the shower covered with mold. Its sad because this view and amenities of the property are awesome.

My husband and I have been coming to the North Shore of Kauai since 1989. We have never stayed at the Hanalei Bay Resort before. We loved it. Our view was spectacular--our favorite spot in the world.--overlooking the emerald covered mountains that surround Hanalei Bay in all of its beauty. Our condo was so convenient and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We felt home away from home. We will be back.

Beautiful grounds/pool area & great front desk staff and golf cart rides came quickly when needed. The unit 7306 itself had gorgeous views from the large balcony. There were many beautiful renovations already done but the bathroom was awful with towel rack half pulled out of the wall/gouges in the paint, and shelf above toilet tilting downward - why weren’t these simple things fixed?! The bathroom toilet is horribly small and the door swings right in front of the toilet/your face. Kitchen needs major upgrade. The unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator but bellmen will carry luggage up/down. The resort is severely lacking in food options- dinner only at Happy Talk Lounge & it’s very crowded with a loooong wait.

Room and the Property great. Hotel staff is very uptight. We had children with us who were throwing a ball in an empty pool. They were told to stop even though there is no written policy that restricts it. One of our party was out for a walk on property and asked where her wristbands were. Also understand this is at this point a beautiful condo with pool but zero resort services. No pool bar or full restaurant. Not a resort. Overall a good value but understand limitations.

The view is beyond compare. Being on the top floor, you can clearly see the waves in Hanalei Bay and the sunset over Bali Hai (Makana Mountain) behind it. Plan to eat as many meals as possible out on the lanai as you soak in the views.
The resort is first rate. The staff is amazing - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - and the facilities are very nice. The landscaping the perfect tropical break for any traveler with banana trees, hibiscus, ginger and orchids growing everywhere. This unit is at the far end of the resort, at the bottom of a steep hill, so be prepared for some uphill walking. (There is a courtesy shuttle any time you need one)
The condo itself is a mixed bag. It's quite clear that the unit is being updated room-by-room and the parts that have been updated are nice. The furniture on the lanai is new and comfortable. The living room is well laid out and very spacious, including a very large loft above. The bedroom is also clean and modern. The large air conditioner in the living room is mainly for show - it makes plenty of noise and moves lots of air around but doesn't blow cold no matter how patient you are. (The remote also doesn't work but you can climb up into the loft and turn it off by hand).
The bathroom is half-renovated with the sink area nicely updated but the bath and toilet are a misery. The toilet isn't bolted to the floor properly so it rocks back and forth and even rotates around the wax ring. The bath/shower is sad and dated with worn metal fittings, a bath plug that doesn't fit and very low water pressure. The shower head is new, which is a blessing because one of the eight settings had enough pressure to properly wash.
The kitchen is as dated as the bathroom. While the appliances are new enough and in good working order, the counters are dated and the cabinetry is just plain sad. Some of the cabinet doors are hanging crooked and don't close correctly and one door over the refrigerator is completely missing. The resort was built in 1978 and the kitchen looks like it hasn't been updated since. There is one real surprise, though: the back wall over the sink is entirely mirrored. While that might normally be tacky, when you're washing dishes and look up, you see the spectacular view.
Did I mention that the view is amazing? You'll spend a lot more time looking out the wide windows or sitting on the lanai soaking in the view then you'll spend time in the dated kitchen. If this were located elsewhere it would be a three star rating but with that gorgeous view, it's easily a four star stay...

This is our 6 th time to Hanelei Bay Resort. It is outstanding. The grounds are meticulously groomed, gorgeous flowers, fabulous pool with a swim up bar. This unit was clean and had a gorgeous view of the Napali Cliffs. The condo was furnished nicely and the kitchen was nicely supplied with pots etc. it even had an ice maker that worked!!The beds upstairs were a little uncomfortable and the AC lacked power. The realty company was easy to work with and very responsive
