A bit outdated and the bedroom a/c unit is quite noisy, but overall a very comfortable stay with everything you need for an extended stay. Wish the gym was open earlier! Was told it would be open at 7, but it’s 8am; couldn’t enjoy it this trip because of that. The public park nearby attracts some shady looking folks and there may be some firework action (very loud). Despite the small number of negatives, it was worth the price and we’d stay again if available

We had a wonderful stay at Maui sunset, our unit was a perfect set up for the time we were there and Wendy at Kumulani provided exceptional excellent service to meet our needs. The unit was very clean, and had an excellent view from our patio, it also provided a very comfortable hide away sofa for sleeping accommodations for our visitors. We were very happy with our stay there.

I had no idea October would be so hot. It would have been better if there were more than 2 umbrellas everyone had to hover around at the pool. Also the only trees were palm trees which gave no shade. No beach umbrellas in the unit. I was only comfortable in the AC in the unit and my car. I guess I can't go to Hawaii in May June July August September October. Global warming takes Hawaii.

A beautifully landscaped, older condo complex in z Kihei, Maui offers a moderately priced condo vacation. The units are individually owned and can vary widely in quality depending on the owners up grades, choice of furnishings. This was my second stay. The unit was nicely furnished. I noted on two negatives, a carpet that needed shampooing and a creaky bed frame in the master.

Stayed there many times, always great. Great location, great unit and have been staying at the Maui Sunset for 30 years or so, always enjoy it. They were able to make some scheduling accommodations which we highly appreciated.
