We had a great time watching the whales play right from the patio. Location was clean, exactly as we expected, supplied with everything we could ever need. Snap beach outside was perfect for snorkeling. Great price for a great stay!!

My first vacation ever!! This place was perfect... From the minute I booked it online they kept me updated with emails several times.. My view of the master bedroom was amazing!! The air conditioning was perfect and the fans you provided were a plus.. The kitchen had everything you needed.. Each room had their own bathroom and a bathroom down stairs... Perfect!! The parking was a tight fit but that's minor.. Needing an extra parking pass wasn't hard to get at all... So I'd like to thank you for the awesome experience!! I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family.. My only concern for others is if you have a hurt knees be careful because the bedrooms are upstairs... Thank you once again.. Mahalo..

Kahana Sunset E7 was the perfect space for our family of 4! We loved the setup of the bedrooms across the stairs from each other that allowed us to be near our elementary-aged children but still have some separation. Our kids also loved having their own beds and bathroom! Air conditioning in each room AND an awning over the lower lanai are hard to find in units, and this one had BOTH, allowing us to eat outside and enjoy the view often! The air conditioners were on 6-hour timers, which made it slightly annoying that we had to wake up hot in the middle of night to reset them, but I understand their purpose. We took advantage of the gorgeous views from both lanais. Very short walk to the private beach where we saw LOTS of sea turtles and fish! Even on busy days, we had no trouble finding a chair by the pool. We'd definitely stay here again when we visit Maui in the future!

Apartments are clean, well furnished and stocked with everything you need to start a vacation stay! Ocean view and small beach made us reluctant to go explore anything outside, but of course we did :) Just 15 minutes to Lahaina if you miss tourists crowds.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kahana Sunset. The property is nice and family friendly. We loved walking down to the private back and watching the sea turtles. The pool was also a great amenity. The unit we stayed in was nice and worked for our family of 3. Overall, it was a great place to stay, but would recommend some slight upgrades to make the place feel cleaner and more modern.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kahana Sunset! Kahana Sunset is located away from the hustle and bustle of Kaanapali, tucked into a beautiful, quiet cove. It is located a short drive from Lahaina and Kapalua. Napili Marketplace is just around the corner where there are a few good restaurants and a good coffee spot. Our condo was perfect for our party of 6. The views from the master bedroom and living room were amazing. It was magical to wake up and see rainbows over the ocean with Molokai in the background. The beach is small but perfect for swimming and there is snorkeling right off the beach if the surf is calm. We saw whales and sea turtles every day! We highly recommend Kahana Sunset and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The location was really nice. We played on the beach right out front. On our first day there, there was a Sea Turtle laying out on the sand and got pictures! This place is also close to one of our favorite beaches, Napili which is up the street and is awesome. Loved that. The pool at the facility was nice. There was one day when they added chemicals that was unfortunate. As for the house itself, it's a good layout and fairly nice. It could use some updating I think. And all our simple concerns were addressed by the manager. She was easy to communicate with and fast to respond. It says it can sleep 6 because of the pull out couch, but that mattress is awful. We ended up pulling the mattress topper off of the master bedroom mattress and let the kids use it on the top of the sofa bed so they could be more comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with so that was convenient. The water there was not very good, like some other places on Maui. So we ended up buying water bottles to cook and drink. This place is good enough to stay in, but would be top notch if small updates were made to it. And from what I was told, they are updating it little by little. We stayed here in February and the temperature was fine. They have coolers in the house for warmer days. And we had fun watching whales out of our lanais. That was great. We saw more out our window (far away) than we did on our Whale excursion! I would bring some good binoculars next time.

We had such a wonderful stay! The condo was exactly as described. It was a great resort, very clean and tidy, and all of the rental staff were wonderful. Would love to stay here again in the future!
