Condo is newly renovated and has an amazing ocean view. Several beaches near by, but a short drive to bring beach toys. The complex has a small pool, wish it was on the ocean side of the building. Overall, we had a great time watching the waves crash, seeing turtles and whales from right on our own lanai.

This property has all you need to enjoy a wonderful visit to Maui. The views are nothing short of stunning, and the sound of the surf is incredibly relaxing. We love the location in that it is close to a lot of things we like. Notably Kapalua for golf and terrific restaurants and Kaanapali for an amazing beach. (We took a sunset cruise which we'll do every visit now, excellent!) The unit itself is notably upgraded, clean and functional. Perfect size for us. We didn't love that the pool was in the front by the parking lot, but the water was clean and perfect for a quick dip.
You won't go wrong with this choice!

Arrived after sunset after a long journey from the east coast. Instructions and access were great and no problem getting into the condo. Everything was immaculately clean and just crashed in the very comfortable bed. Woke early next morning and the view just takes your breath away. Just sitting on the balcony watching sunsets and the sea turtles is just so relaxing. Everything we needed was provided, including snorkel equipment to go swim and watch the turtles swim past. Plenty of food options and only a few miles down to Lahaina. If this place is available for when you want to visit, book it. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I loved our recent stay in Maui. The condo was perfect. We enjoyed the expansive ocean views from the lanai (balcony), especially the beautiful sunsets. We were able to see a bunch of sea turtles that swam right in front of the condo! The condo had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and we liked the option of having a/c. Location was convenient and close to all sorts of beaches, shopping, and dining. We would definitely stay here again!

The place is a apartment but a vary nice one! The view is why you stay here though. We spotted turtles every evening from the balcony. I even spotted a couple of humpback whales way out there. But with the provided binoculars I did see them. The place is well appointed with a lot of what you’ll need. The area is perfectly placed on the west side of the island for all your entertainment needs. You won’t be disappointed.

I cannot express how great this property is! And seriously, it's better IRL than the pictures - hard to believe but it's true! First off, the condo is so clean and well equiped - possibly one of the best I've rented in the last 10 years. The one bedroom condo is a great space for a couple with plenty of storage space for all your stuff. The kitchen area is well organized with everything you need -even if you are just warming up leftovers or cooking a full meal (BTW - there are BBQs on the property but we did not use, though others did). The unit also comes with 2 X beach chairs and a coolerbag for daytrips. We did buy a Costco beach umbrella and left it in the unit as we found we needed it in the Maui sunshine! Because you are in a end unit you have the best light for the entire day and a wonderful breeze so no A/C needed! Though, we did use the A/C just to cool down the space a bit for sleeping (one of the very few units in the building that have A/C as we found out from othere guests/owners). Both A/C units are so quiet - not those noisy old-school window units. The VERY best part of the condo is the balcony! The table & chairs are 'bar height' - the rail is not in your eyeline so you have full view of the water. We spent hours just sitting and watching the whales - boy did they put on a show for us each day we were there. 3 large turtles came by everyday as well. The condo had a set of binoculars that came in so handy. My camera roll is filled with pictures from the balcony with the amazing sunsets. There is a small beach off to side but the tides and waves made some days tricky to eaily access. Great snorkling too!The location of the condo is great too-convienient ABC store a few blocks away and amazing food can be found at the food truck park further down the road. The area is safe, clean and very convienient. I will say though, the building is a basic cinderblock construction (like others on the street) with a small couryard and pool (did not use) facing the parking lot - not fancy at all but don't let that worry you. The other guests/owners we met were so friendly. The entire building is clean and well maintained. There were no issues with noisy neighbors either. I can honestly say that it's the best spot for your stay in Maui... You wake up at 6am, start the coffee maker, open the big patio doors to hear the waves splash up on the shore, spot some whales and a few boats out in the distance - it truly is a magical place to be.

This unit is beautiful! At least as good as the pictures, better in person! Very clean. The views are amazing we watched Sea Turtles play in the surf and whale after whale from the lanai. We would race home from our daily activities to see the sunset! As stated in other reviews the building is a little dated - but once you get to the unit - it is updated and fantastic!

Amazing! Exactly as advertised-from the furnishings to the linens, the location and the stunning views! There are not enough complimentary words. There was an issue with the fridge that was dealt with in a timely manner, with a more than generous compensation for the inconvenience to us. Marty was very responsive and helpful in dealing with the issue. We would happily stay at 404 Kaleialoha again...in a heartbeat, and have referred the property to friends who frequent Maui. Thanks for a wonderful "home-base" for our vacation.

This was our third trip to Maui and this was by far the best place we have stayed. Being on the top floor and on the end was a perfect location. We spent a lot of time on the lanai just looking at the view, the whales, and the turtles. The Kitchen was very well equipped and even the linens were first rate. Loved our stay at Ramonchito's place. It is a corner unit of the top floor so it provided the best views. Loved the balcony during sunrise and sunset, it was so beautiful throughout the day as well. This unit has all the amenities to feel at home. Would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place

The unit was clean, updated, and had everything we needed plus lots of thoughtful extras. We randomly decided to make muffins for breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the unit had a muffin pan. We can’t speak to the TVs (we watched the ocean), but we were impressed with the technology in the unit. Remote control blinds, fans, AC, new appliances, etc. were a nice touch. My husband kept joking that it looked like no one had used the kitchen before us because everything felt so clean and new.
The view is amazing. We miss it already! The woman who lives full-time in the unit next door said that we had the best view in the complex, and we agreed. We spent a ton of time on the lanai watching the sunset and sea turtles and listening to the sound of the surf, and we loved swimming and snorkeling at the small private beach. We’re not big fans of crowds, and the space was perfect for low-key (still high-quality) beach time. The complex is older, but it was quiet and well-maintained and suited our needs.
We ran into a couple of snags with some unexpected maintenance that was being done on the property and some construction noise from the property next door. Ray had planned for the maintenance to be completed before our arrival (this was not his fault whatsoever and was clearly not the norm), but he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. And when we needed quick assistance, Marty arrived at the condo within 15 mins to help. Ray and Marty were kind and attentive hosts, and we’d love to come back.

The llocation of the unit was very convenient but being ocean front, we were able to watch the turtles swimming among the rocks from the balcony.. The interior of the unit was exceptionally nice (fully renovated) and very relaxing. The building is older but the unit itself is an oasis of comfort. Had a great time and would definitely go back.

The sunsets were incredible and the stars at night were spectacular.

You get your own parking space so that was never an issue. Although there is a pool, we always went to the small beach.
Property Manager- We had a little mishap during our stay. Although there were two air conditioning units, we preferred to have the windows open to hear the waves. A gust of wind blew the bedroom door and we were locked out. Even though is it was a Sunday and late afternoon, our call was returned immediately and someone was there to assist within 30 minutes. We were so grateful for the quick response.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
