See spectacular waterfalls cascade down the 4,000-foot Wai'ale'ale mountains or watch surfers on the waves of Hanalei Bay and marvel at the changing light and rainbows over Bali Hai (Mt. Makana). The large private lanai is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of Kaua'i coffee or to toast the breathtaking sunsets with a tropical beverage. The condo overlooks the smaller, more private pool with a barbecue pavilion and kitchen area accented by lush bougainvillea, orchids, and plumeria trees.
Step inside to find a full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and beautiful countertops, a private washer/dryer for your swimsuits and beach towels, and access to the lanai from the living room and bedroom. The bedroom offers a king bed while the main living area has a queen Murphy bed. The separately-controlled air conditioners will keep you cool, and the suite includes free WiFi, two cable TVs with Roku streaming, and DVD and CD players. Hanalei Bay Resort is one of the premier properties on Kauai. Nestled on 22 acres along the beautiful coastline of the North Shore, the resort abounds with tropical foliage, songbirds, and amazing views of the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. The condo is a short walk down a private, paved path through a small rainforest to lovely Pu'u Poa beach, or you can have the resort staff transport you by golf cart if you prefer. The beach is renowned for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and paddleboarding, as well as its sheer beauty, surrounded by lush mountains on Hanalei Bay.
There are two pools at Hanalei Bay Resort, the larger being an award-winning lagoon-style pool with waterfalls, a spa hot tub, and a children's pool with a shady beach and sandy bottom. Originally built as a tennis resort, the property features some of the finest tennis facilities on the island, including eight courts and a pro shop. Enjoy the convenience of bell and shuttle service, a fitness center, a concierge, a business center, and a hospitality suite. Hanalei Bay also boasts close proximity to many North Shore attractions/activities, shops, excellent restaurants, live music, and two of Kaua'i's best golf courses. The Happy Talk Lounge on the property features creative pizzas, burgers, salads, casual Hawaiian fare, a full bar with many beers on tap, and live music.

THINGS TO KNOW
Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors. Sounds may be audible between connecting doors.
Hanalei Bay Resort fees are due at check-in to the resort and are collected by the front desk. These include a one-time fee of $50 per reservation, a reservation fee of $6.75 for every non-owner reservation request, a $25 a day resort fee, and a $20 fee per car a day for parking.
Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Due to staffing shortages caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the hotel restaurant and bars may be periodically closed.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC.
Hanalei Bay Resort swim-up pool bar is indefinitely closed.
This is a privately owned unit in a resort. Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This was one side of a condo, with the other side having a separate entrance, and separately rented, with a locked door in between. This side has a full kitchen, living room, and one bedroom. We understand the other side is a studio. Apparently a very common arrangement in this resort. The resort is beautiful; the resort and the unit itself have awesome views of the ocean and mountains. This particular unit is a litlte tired, and although it listed a washer and dryer as being in the unit, those were out of service and apparently had been for months. We were a little freaked out upon check-in by numerous large insect traps set up throughout the unit, but in the three days/nights we were there, we thankfully had no bug issues. The only downside of the resort that we noticed was that there is no parking near the units -- you can only park in a central parking lot at the high end of the property, then need to walk or get a golf cart ride to and from your unit. The walks can be long and steep depending on unit location, which can be a pain if you have a lot of luggage. But the beauty of the resort and the surrounding area made it, overall, well worth the stay.

6222 was a great place to stay. Really enjoyed our 12 nights; having a nice kitchen and full laundry was ideal. The lanai was a perfect place to start and finish every day.

We chose this condo based on location to Hanalei Bay and was looking for a resort with a pool, walking distance to the beach, near a grocery store and close to hiking. This checked all the boxes.
Loved that the owners had beach towels, chairs, a cooler, snorkeling gear and boogie boards for us to use. The condo was well equipped with all the cooking tools, but would be helpful to have some more basic supplies available; sugar, salt, pepper. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have a door that closed, the sliding door didn't really fit the privacy bill for me. The view from the lanai is awesome and would have loved some more comfortable seating to enjoy the view, but no major complaints there.
Something to note, this is a walking resort, in that, it's hilly. We hail from CO so not an issue for us, but could see this being an issue for some. You can call for a golf cart to pick you up, but this could take 10-15 min, so plan ahead. The resort itself is very well maintained and expect to hear landscapers in the morning with power tools keeping it tidy. The tennis courts were always busy and people seemed to be enjoying themselves there. The pools were amazing, not a ton of shade at the smaller pool during the day, but the main pool has plenty. The resort restaurant has live music and seemed to be bumping til about 10pm, but expect to wait for a table or seat at the bar and the prices are on the higher side. Overall, the staff was very welcoming and happy to answer questions. Bummed I didn't know that it offered yoga and other fun activities until we checked out, so don't miss out like I did.
This condo had everything to offer and more, hence the 5 stars. Hope this helps with booking the vacay of your dreams.

The resort is lovely & the unit is well positioned & very nice.
Unfortunately we arrived & there were absolutely no cleaning products of any kind (tp, soap, shampoo, paper towels, dish soap etc). It took over 24 hours & multiple contacts to get them. Vacasa management did compensate us.
