The entire property was beautiful with gardens and pool and view of the ocean. The unit was very clean and beautifully decorated, it was comfortably large for 6 we had 4 adults and 2 kids. It was stocked with everything you can need, such a convenience to have umbrellas chairs boogie boards and coolers. We spent most of our time on the large lanai enjoying the view during the day and the moon rise at night!
It’s walking distance to the Hyatt and Hilton and a short drive over to the turtles on Poipu and Brenneckies for a great dinner. Our host was wonderful and had very good recommendations for where to eat and play.
You won’t be disappointed.One of my best vacations!

Our favorite thing to do was just sit and take in the ocean breezes and enjoy the wonderful views on the huge lanai. Vangie was wonderful, one of the most helpful hosts and extremely communicative. We had never been to Kaua’i before and she went out of her way to recommend places to eat, fun things not to miss etc and her recommendations were spot on. The only thing I do wish is that there was an elevator, my knees took a beating going up and down 3 flights of stairs. But other than that, this place is a gem!

We had a great stay. The lanai is just terrific -- whether it be early morning for sunrise, day time, or late afternoon.
The condo was very clean. Furnishings were comfortable, though we barely turned on the TV becuase we enjoyed sitting outside so much. Soft towels were plentiful. My sons enjoyed the tennis courts right across the street (never anyone else playing). We enjoyed both the fancy golf course right down the street, and the public course about 20 minutes away -- greens fees only $15 !!!! (this course also has tremendous ocean views). Our host was accessible and responsive. I highly recommend and we would certainly return to this rental.

What an incredible stay we had @Kauai Kong Quarters! The views were absolutely incredible and are even nicer than described in other comments or the description! The amenities were great as well which made the stay even easier as we did not have to worry about beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc.
Any minor issues or questions that we had were quickly resolved by Vangie. We cannot wait to come back to Kauai and will definitely stay in this property again!

Comfortable living areas, beds (dreamy), and having washer/dryer was ideal.
The location was magic. The condo is located on quiet grounds with easy parking access and walking to beach walks.
Our stay was with 4 adults, each slept comfortably and enjoyed the Lanai in the mornings and evenings each day.
Vangie has thought of everything to make this VRBO be like your home away from home.
So many great things to mention about our stay but just super happy with the experience. I've stayed at many VRBOs and this is TOP NOTCH! :) WE WILL RETURN.

Our group had a great stay here while attending a wedding at the Grand Hyatt. Shipwreck beach is a short walk away too! Vangie was super helpful with her instructions and kept in close contact when we experienced an issue with the dishwasher. We loved enjoying our brunch on the lanai overlooking the ocean. We went with another couple and spent a week and had a wonderful stay at Vangie's condo. She's the new owner and has completely updated the furniture. The lanai is perfect to catch the sunrise, the beds are comfortable, the two bedrooms are separated for privacy (we stayed with another couple), and the new furnishings make for a wonderful place to stay. You can easily walk to the Hyatt, and Shipwreck Beach, and the Greenbelt walkway connects Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. Vangie is easy to communicate with, which really helps. We'd stay there again, and highly recommend it to others.

After a 14 hour flight we arrived at the unit. Parking is not very close and after hauling 4 suitcases up 3 very narrow flights of stairs, we walk in to the unit to discover it did not have air conditioning. We contacted the owner who said there are multiple fans to use and enjoy the ocean breeze. The fan in the master bedroom was filthy. The unit was not acceptable so we did not stay a single night. Not what we were expecting. We checked with the nearby Hyatt and they couldn't get us in for 2 days. The owner of the unit told us we could stay for 2 nights and she would only charge us for one. We went to the Hyatt and explained our situation and they were able to get us in for our full stay. We contacted the owner and told her we would not be staying in the unit at all. We have only received a partial refund. We were also charged a cleaning fee for a unit that was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived and we didn't spend more than 15 minutes in.

The condo is also a short drive to many restaurants, shopping areas, and a grocery store, so the location was great. The condo stayed cool due to a nice breeze throughout, but the humidity was high, which made us miss having AC at times. Everything was easy, it worked great for the three of us having the master bedroom and second bedroom with 2 twin beds. It is on the third floor with no elevator so getting our giant suitcases up to the condo was difficult but I really appreciated having the beach chairs, beach towels, and washer and dryer.

What an amazing view of mountains and ocean from this large unit! We appreciated the availability of beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and even snorkeling equipment. The very large patio was great for morning coffee and evening drinks. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates and glassware. Overall a great experience.

Easy to get to from the airport.....GPS takes you right there. Love the location for the South side of Kauai. The unit has a beautiful ocean view and the kitchen is well stocked with all sorts of appliances. It had boogie boards, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, and fins for you to use. The unit is clean , quiet and comfortable.

My family of four used this unit for our spring break vacation. The location was wonderful - we could walk or take very short car rides to anything we needed or wanted to do. We enjoyed snorkeling and daily sightings of both the green sea turtles and monk seals. The property was very well maintained and offered lovely views. We slept with the screened sliding glass door open so we could hear the waves and wake up with the sunrise and enjoyed our coffee and meals on the balcony. The unit was well-stocked - anything you would need in a kitchen, plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. Impeccably cleaned. A note to those planning a visit - book your tours in advance - we held off booking in in order to consider weather forecasts and ended up missing out on zip lining. We only made it on a kayak tour when someone else cancelled. Of course we were still able to keep ourselves plenty occupied and luckily had brought our own snorkels so we could still enjoy that on our own. Was a great home base for our visit to Kauai - thank you!

The location of this condo is very convenient to many activities. The view from the large balcony is amazing, providing views of the mountains and the nearby beach. Very peaceful surroundings and beautiful walking paths all around.
