Great viewThe property is exactly as advertised. Self checkin went seamlessly and the management company responded quickly to my questions. The condo was clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and the bed comfortable. The view of the Marina and the Hilton Lagoon is amazing. We could walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We had a lovely stay at this neat little condo. The decor was very nice. It has an open concept, but you can close the shoji doors for privacy. There is a beautiful view of the marina.
It has central air conditioning, but it would get warm as the sun hit the windows. Other than that the place was perfect.
It was great to have a parking spot. Parking is extra, but worth every dime.
We took advantage of the bus system and road buses to town too.
We will definitely stay again.

We pulled up to the Ilikai Hotel, bellman unload our bags, showed my reservation and to my chagrin...he said, "You're at the wrong place, your building is two over." We reloaded the bags and started looking for "our" building. I never knew there was a "Ilikai Marina Condominium." I truly thought I booked at the Ilikai Hotel. I think VRBO needs to do a much better job of demonstrating a distinction between the two.
We did find the building and pulled into the parking structure, drove up to the 7th floor and unloaded directly to our condo. Upon entering the condo we said, "Wow!" awesome kitchen, bathroom, living area and view. That eased the pain of not being at the Ilikai Hotel. While the balcony is more of a balcon-ette (good thing we are both slim) the view if the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor is magnificent...and also the Friday night fireworks. The location is great...Waterfront Chart House on the ground floor and an ABC Store across the street. The beach is just a 5 minute walk, however it is very rocky...better to walk a few minutes more and camp out at the Hilton Hawaiian Village beach.
About the condo experience, our hosts were quickly on top of a couple challenges...got to give them props for that. The condo overall is very nice and yet there are a few things that need attention...touch up painting, toilet running and kitchen glassware replacement.
Downside...the condo complex has no amenities and there is noise from the street below.
We would definitely stay again.

It was wonderful. Our grandson is stationed at Hickam and this apt was only 20 min. away. We overlooked the beautiful marina and had the perfect view from our balcony of the Friday night fireworks. The Chart House restaurant on the 1st floor was a plus. We also had access to the pool and restaurants in the Ilikai hotel.

Beautiful view of the harbour! Full kitchen, no dishwasher. Dirty, sticky utensils, glasses etc. cleaners need to pay attention to this, and not rely on previous guests dishwashing skills. Nicely updated. The sofa bed needs to be replaced, it sinks in the middle. The queen bed is hard and uncomfortable. There is no place to sit comfortably in the room if the sofa bed is being used. There are only 6 bar chairs or you have to sit or lay on the queen bed. The location is excellent, close to everything and it had the best view of the Friday night Hilton Hawaiian Village fireworks display!

We very much enjoyed this condo overlooking the Marina. The condo had been updated and had been tastefully done. It was exactly at described in the writeup and photos. We enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony and the dolphin that was swimming in the harbor below. The only down thing I can say is I would like to had more then 2 wash clothes for our 9 night stay.

And as a bonus we had front row seating for the remarkable firework display hosted by the Hilton every Friday night!! This was a dream come true. On the positive, the bed was comfortable, and the view was lovely.
The rental unit needs a deep clean, we clean the floors, bathroom and shower upon arrival, and were shocked at how dirty it was. On the surface, it looks tidy. Makes us wonder why we paid cleaning fees.
there were no luggage tracks for luggage, when asked to get some by the property management, the response was, they would order some, but would not be there for our stay. This meant you were in and out of your luggage multiple times a day as they needed to be closed up to be stored as there was nowhere to leave it out. The window bench was not wide enough for a medium sized suitcase.
No extra amenities in the unit like food, wrap, paper towels, etc. not well equipped with extras. Towels were also limited resulting in laundry needing to be done frequently.
Homeless people had taken up residency directly outside the unit on the marina side, and fighting between two of the regular homeless people was a regular occurrence resulting in police attending at least twice during our week stay. We were awoken every night but the homeless as soundproofing is poor. I emailed property management about our concerns as we couldn't sleep through the night, and they said there was nothing they could do. I wanted to move from this location but couldn’t due to losing our nightly accommodation and other fees paid.
With all the fees and nightly rate, this unit was overpriced for the quality of the stay. I would not stay again or would not recommend others stay.
Prior to check in, I emailed the property management about a late check out given we had a late night flight and i received no response from them.
Overall, the stay was disappointing.

The location of this apartment couldn’t have been better, right in the center of town close to the restaurants, beach, bus stop, everything.

I will start with our first night here. The refrigerator was so loud and had a horrible knocking sound. In the morning, my husband pulled the unit from the wall to find filth and debris including children’s toys and a full face mask with hair attached to it. A definite fire hazard. See attached photo. Removing these items seemed to fix the problem with the fridge. You are welcome.
The air conditioner makes a horrendous noise after it is turned off (we are aware that energy in Hawaii is an issue, and we respect the islands therefore we leave it on for only 30 minutes in the evening). The noise has kept us up EVERY night! See attached video. I have an eighteen-second video as well that I could not attach.
The toilet constantly runs through the night as well.
I am here on work-related matters and can barely function during the day due to a lack of sleep and disruption.
I would also suggest you find another cleaning company as the unit is dirty and requires a DEEP cleaning.
My other suggestions are to reconsider the size and amount of the furniture in the unit – There is seating for four (4) at the bar, two (2) chairs, and a table on the balcony (which is tiny tiny tiny), and a bar table for two (2) in the living room which makes maneuverability around the condo very difficult.
I am not a chronic whiner and have traveled the world staying at VRBO’s and Air B&B’s. However, our stay has been unacceptable, and I look forward to going home tomorrow which is out of character for me.

Everything was exactly as depicted in the photos. Well stocked with everything you need but good items. So close to Ala Moana Shopping center, a walkway away to the beach-which is rocky-so pack water shoes! The view of Diamondhead is great for photos. Used the hop on and off Waikiki Trolley for $5 per person to get around and it was entertaining transport with the singing drivers. The bed is so comfortable. You cannot ever get tired of the view and the colorful sunsets. You will love your stay. I loved not having keys! Communication was instant. I felt well taken care of.

The views are spectacular from the little lanai. The unit is high enough to drown out most of the noise coming from the street / restaurant below (aside from the occasional drunk yelling type).
Great central location, close to everything and most importantly - not located in the super busy portion of Waikiki.

Close to the beach, pier and the tour pick-up points which helped us a lot as we didn't need a car till we decided to drive to places to hike and visit. It's also walking distance to the mall, shopping areas and restaurants to enjoy some shopping and people viewing.
It's also next to the Friday Fireworks that Hilton sets up, so we got to enjoy the fireworks display with no issues on parking or trying to get a good spot.
In general a great spot to stay in Waikiki area just next to the other hotels with access to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable, rain shower was relaxing and okay pressure, and view was nice, not a beachfront view but provided views of the marina, ocean/surfer (with binoculars in the unit), Hilton lagoon, and watching the sunset behind the mountain from the lanai. The a/c and fans worked great, noise level was low. The accent/led lights in the bedroom were a cool touch but the ones in the main living area didn’t work while we were there but that wasn’t much of an issue. The couch isn’t super comfortable but we didn’t spend much time couch sitting so that wasn’t too big of a negative. We used the laundry facilities on the 8th floor. Not crowded & the app/payment system (3.25 for wash & for dryer) was good & had a timer so you could keep track from your unit. Parking was easy (pay once upon first exit for all days, then in & out with the same ticket for the duration of the stay) & reasonably priced ($23/day) in comparison to some other facilities. I agree with some other reviews that the complex should update the hallways but wouldn’t say it’s a major item or should deter one from staying here.

Lovely home away from home . We had everything we needed . Views were amazing . Close to all . We strolled all over and used Uber . Check in was a breeze . So comfortable and relaxing . Hate to be leaving . Thank you so much .

The location was great, and the property itself was just ok. Parking was awful, and the prices for parking are outrageous. Because of that we would not choose to stay at this property again.

Beautiful view of the harbor and incredible sunsets every night. I could have stayed here for a month. Check in was easy. Location is close to beach but not nearly as busy as central Waikiki. There is a hideabed couch, but it is not very comfortable. The main bed is a queen and is fine. Kitchen is well stocked and has wine opener and lots of glasses. Parking in the building was $23/day with in/out privileges. There is also some free parking around the harbor. There are restaurants near by. A Red Lobster on ground floor and McDonalds and ABC store across the street. A casual bar called the Tropics Ale House, is just around the corner, with great happy hot food and the best brussel sprouts. This property felt like home.
