The property is in need up updates. The bathroom is much like a sauna- poor ventilation and an old fan. Thank goodness the bedroom had a separate unit- as the air flow/circulation in the condo is poor. When the front door is open it has a nice natural ventilation, but you can’t leave the front door open.
Patio leaves little privacy which is ironic as the walls on the sides are great, but guests above each other hear everything! And the pictures do not show that the Kuhlio highway is your view. Be warned, although the surf does help drown out the noise you will see the oncoming lights and traffic.
Location is perfect access to all parts of the island.

We spent 2 weeks on Kauai… one in Poipu and the other in Wailua. Loved both. This Wailua condo had everything we needed. Very clean, well stocked, laundry in condo and a gorgeous view. Only complaint (and it’s not the fault of the property managers!) was the homeless down on the beach below us, were loud sometimes at night and we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our sliding door open.

This condo is centrally located with a great view. When we first arrived we had trouble with the air conditioner located in the bedroom and the unit was replaced immediately. The property manager was very friendly and responsive. The only air conditioner was located in the bedroom which left the rest of the unit quiet warm. We probably wouldn’t want to book a unit again with only partial air in the middle of the summer but this was fully disclosed in the description, so we did realize what we were signing up for beforehand. All together this was a nice location, great pool and parking and was well stocked with chairs and beach accessories.

Pros: great location, beautiful view, pool, fairly easy beach access, beach chairs, towels and cooler provided, lovely trade winds, washer and dryer in the unit, spacious, simple but basic necessities provided
Cons: ac did not work in bedroom, towels in bathroom need replaced (odd odor even after washing them), mold growing in the tub/shower (caulking needs replaced) whole unit needs a really deep clean

Everything was great here! The view from the patio can’t be beat and was so nice to have coffee by each morning. Comfortable bed and everything you need in bath / kitchen. Was super helpful to have beach equipment to borrow (chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkels). Right across the street from the best masalada donuts! Also nice to have the pool area. Beautiful and well kept property. Thank you for a great stay!

The attention to having a seamless stay is evident. The property, pool, and condo are well maintained. Met mark who is a resident mgr, who also lives here was constantly attending the flora, talking with residents and guests. Cindy the vrbo property mgr was immediately avail thru email and answered all questions and concerns right away!
Traffic outside the property is an issue while construction is going on, but should be bettah soon, as they’re widening the road for easier flow.
Finally, wailua bay may look rough and you must always be careful with the ocean and know your limits. However, it is shallow quite a ways out. There is no rocks or sea urchins so i felt safe with my barefeet. The sand was soooo soft. Closest to the condo was where the bay was usually the most calm and we saw many swimmers from our lanai!

I was not notified about the construction that would be taking place on the property literally right outside my door. As I walked out, there was construction, tape and scaffolding set up. I had to listen to construction workers, drills saws, and smell paint every day I was on vacation. It would’ve been nice to have the opportunity to change locations.
