The property was exactly as expected. Clean, well appointed, easy to navigate check in, etc. We really appreciated the access to the beach umbrella and chairs! As the other readers stated the property was hot. We managed to get the fans sorted out and by day two it cooled off enough for us to rest well at night. Would still appreciate an AC.

I loved the place, it was 100% safe, reachable, clean, no disturbance, with wifi excellent. I loved the landline which assisted me to order supper. Some little advise: install air conditioner, it will add value.

The condo served the purpose that we wanted. We wanted an inexpensive place that we could stay. The kids wanted their own room and bathroom and we could cook food. The neighborhood was close to the shops in Kona. It seemed safe. For the most part it was clean, but there was hair on the shower walls. The biggest thing is no AC. There has to be a way to add ac. Mini splits, window/wall units, etc. We would come back for the day and it was HOT. The kids room in the front cooled down but not the back of the house where the master bedroom was. It didn’t cool down until early morning. The biggest problem is we had to sleep with the door open, screen closed and blinds open to keep it cool. That didn’t give us any privacy. It would be really nice to have AC so you could put blackout curtains in there since the sun comes up so early.

Location is great. Condo was clean. You’re right next to main strip of Kona. However, none of that was enough to overcome the fact that this place gets too hot to enjoy. You can’t sleep until the middle of the night because there is no air conditioning. Several fans but they only blow hot air!

A solid VRBO. 2 bed 2 bath with working appliances. It is hot but there are a lot of fans + locking screen doors so you can leave the doors open to help cultivate a breeze. I had a great time and was happy for the location (a 20 min walk to the main area, 5 min walk to a little beach)

This condo was a great place to decompress. Quiet location and close enough to all the shops and restaurants available via walk or drive. The layout worked good for our party of four. Just enough area to see the bay from the lanai and catch some Whales passing by. Our only comment would be to request the cleaning company to mop the lanai a well. We never wore our slippers in the condo, but relaxing on the lanai would make our feet dirty. Therefore you would be bringing that onto the carpet. As we are starting our search for a retirement investment location, part time or full time, this complex would definitely be a consideration.

We were in town for a week and it is a great location. LOVE that the management didn’t wipe the supplies out, so we didn’t have to buy salt & pepper, etc. The only drawbacks are the lack of AC (they had a great supply of cooling fans) and lack of heating in the pool.

This condo was immaculately clean. The pictures shown are not misleading. The check in process was simple and communication with the rental folks was immediate. The beds were super comfortable. This condo has everything needed to settle into a great vacation. I recommend this condo without reservation. We had a wonderful time in Kona and this condo was like home away from home (Alaska for us). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This unit was as described and a great location. Small and quiet complex, which was nice. Communication was great as well, the property manager was quick to respond to our concerns. This rental had what we needed to feel at home while we were on vacation. The washer and dryer alone were priceless! Hawaii is a hot and humid place! No A/C wasn't really a problem with the fans provided in the unit.

The location of the unit is great an it is within walking distance of Kailua. But, the listing I thought stated A/C. The fans were not enough to cool off the unit at night making sleeping uncomfortable. There are two small "swamp coolers" that did not cool off the bed rooms. We did enjoy our time in Kona.

Overall a great place to stay on the Big Island. Property sits on the corner of Luna Pule and Ali'i Drive, making it a short drive/walk to many locations. Up the hill you have a sandwich and tea/coffee shop. Driving south on Ali'i Drive there's Green Flash Coffee shop and Magic Sands bar and grill even further south. KTA and Sac & Save markets are all within a ten minute drive, as well as Coconut Grove Market Place with many restaurants and bars. The condo does not have air conditioning which they are up front about but there are plenty of fans (ceiling and window) and you get a good breeze out of the south/southeast at night. That being said, the front bedroom stays much cooler than the master. All the appliances are clean and in good working order. Plenty of beach toys for the kids, as well as coolers, beach towels, umbrella and a couple of chairs. The only minor issues noted was the door locks to bedrooms and bathroom are old and require you to push the knob in and twist clockwise to lock, versus just a push button. Ceiling fan blades are swollen and warped on the edges making you believe there's a build up of dust when its just the pressed wood exposed. But like I said, minor details that would have no bearing on whether or not we would stay there again. We would and possibly will if available on our next trip the Big Island, 5 stars!

Tired property in need of some updates. Marketing material over sold location re "across from beach". No AC. Rooms were very stuffy and hot in the afternoon once the onshore breeze dissipated.

Communication and check-in were very straightforward and convenient. The condo is very simple, but had everything we needed. We walked to town and the beach each day. Very comfortable beds and nice pool.
We recommend Tealicious on Lunapule, but with caution as Lunapule is not a safe walking road.

Loved the view, the location and the neighbors! We rent longer than most and the condo needed a few things — broom, towels, bathroom rugs and a fan. CBI came with all the next day. There was a plumbing issue but everyone worked to resolve it. The only bad thing I can say is— it is hot! No air conditioner!! Keep this in mind as the afternoons and evenings are very warm but the pool right outside is cool!!

While the advert does mention there’s no AC, it doesn’t mention that there’s little to no breeze to cool the place down, so unless you like a hot room at night, you won’t enjoy a good nights’ sleep.

Great property, very clean, very quiet, yes it has no a/c but it is stated in the description. Quick walk to town where you can take in many restaurants and bars. Nice little pool that seemed like our own private pool. Would not hesitate to book here again.

The property is very clean and well maintained. All the necessary amenities are provided and the owner's guidebook is helpful and friendly. The management company was fast in responding to queries. The condo is well situated and is within easy walking distance to coffee and restaurants. And it has a bit of a view of the ocean. The condo is off a busy road so can be noisy for lighter sleepers. We would stay here again!
