We stayed for 3 nights here and totally loved it. First off the place was so well kept and I’m in fact taking notes on how they have arranged and set up things in the most elegant and efficient manner. The place is right for a couple and has all the amenities you need. The icing on the cake is the awesome host who went above and beyond to get us a car charger for both iPhone and android :) and truly appreciate the flexibility we had a late check out as well. Overall great experience. The only thing to watch out is the bed is in attic at the top and will have less air circulation think creative to get the fans and ac on when you sleep and it works totally fine!

We were in this pleasant condo for a week. Plenty of room for a couple.
There are only a couple of things to be aware of. First is that the "bedroom" is the loft, accessed by a 9' ladder. The bed there is comfortable. The third bed is a sofa that can be arranged into a surprisingly good bed. The condo is essentially one spacious room so it's all one contiguous space.
The balcony has a nice view and the A/C works great (also has a dehumidifier setting if you want less cooling).
The place is very clean and well stocked including a water filter pitcher and ice packs in the refrigerator and plenty of towels and bathroom supplies.
We didn't have any issues with noise -- the roosters didn't even start crowing until 8:00.
The management is pretty responsive to VRBO and text messages.
There is a pizza place right across the street and a nice ocean overlook a short walk away.
Hanalei is a short drive away and has lots of nice stores and restaurants (be aware that the bridge to Hanalei will be closed intermittently starting Jan 2, 2024 through February).
Do recommend (as long as you can handle that ladder).

We especially enjoyed the balcony and cozy couch during rainy weather. The bed is comfortable and in a loft (reachable via ladder). We’d come back here in the future!

Do not stay at this property!! The owner is unfeeling, unethical and only cares about money. My wife broke her ankle. We requested to change our reservation so she had a chance to recover. We chose a date that he had no reservation. He refused stating it would be bad for his budget. We lost everything we had paid because he wouldn't give us any money back. He even kept the cleaning fee. There are better properties in Princeville. Don't risk what we did. Rent somewhere else. Also, be aware that you have to climb a ladder to get to the bedroom.

We really liked this place. It was in a quiet spot with a wonderful view from the balcony of the lush, green mountains. The A/C worked great. You have to climb a ladder to get to the sleeping area and there was no separate door to the area but that was all clearly described in the description and was not a problem for us. The A/C reached that area vey nicely so we were always cool at night, which I have found to be essential when staying in Kauai in August. I highly recommend this place for anyone that does not have a problem climbing the short ladder to the sleeping area.

Beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, fins, cooler, cold ice packs in the freezer, air conditioning and a water filter. It’s perfect for a couple :) I think anymore then two would be a tight fit.

The sliding glass door to the porch does not lock.
The owners did not send a code for the door and did not answer our repeated phone calls. We had to call Vrbo several times. Actually had to get help from a neighbor.
Read the fine print. The bed is in a loft with a steep ladder. You can’t carry anything up to bed while you climb up.
There is NO privacy as the window covers are see-thru and you have to dress in the bathroom.
Also, cockroaches in the kitchen and ants in the bathroom.
The dishwasher was broken and Cable TV quit half-way through our stay ( with a message to pay the bill).

Comfortable bed, nice kitchen and supplies! We loved the cooler, beach chairs, and snorkel gear that was provided as well. Owners were very responsive with any questions. There is very limited parking. It is noisy with traffic going but the back lanai is very cozy and wonderful views. The ladder to the loft is very steep and would not recommend it for anyone over the age of 40!

This was a great stay and we would not hesitate to book again. A family of 4 with 2 kids. Lots of little touches we appreciated - water filter, rice cooker. Please note that there is only one bed. There is not a pull out couch. That said, the couch was new, large, and comfortable for both of our kids to sleep on easily. We liked it so much we ordered the same couch for our home. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Upon perusing the guest book, we discovered a review by none other than another 52-year old Asian female! Inspiring! You can still feel the energy of the Secret Service. Dark stairs to the bed area. Contrary to what the ad suggests, there is only one parking space to be used by guests in two different apartments. Sometimes when the parking space is occupied, it can be a challenge to find parking spaces. There are some cobwebs on the apartment's ceiling and the carpet, which is light in color, is already a little grimy. The kitchen does not have enough pans and utensils for those who intend to cook.

Great location, the space was big, the bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped. On our first day, we took the wrong key (there's a front door key and an inner door key-not marked) and were locked out. The staff helped us out right away and went above and beyond to get us back in! The only complaint we have is the description says air conditioned. This place is NOT air conditioned. The first night, the sleeping loft was 85 degrees. The AC window unit blows air, but the kitchen window doesn't close so any attempt at using the AC will only move air around, not cool. We contacted the owner and he said he would look into it- we just opened all the windows, took a cool shower before bed and bought an extra fan (we left it there for the next friends). Most nights were in the 70's so it eventually cooled off. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here for what it was, a place to eat and sleep between adventures. While the condo is in the very resort-like area of Princeville, you don't really feel it once you're inside. The views out the back lanai only really view forest and the mountain, no other condos and barely any golf course. There were also a few extras like a washer/dryer, and beach equipment (chairs, cooler, boogie borads, etc).
The downside is that the place was SUPER dusty. There had to be 3" of dust on the fans. You sleep in a loft, that's really only why we noticed, but our allergies definitely noticed. Also, all of the dishes needed to be rewashed, but that's pretty normal in Hawaii from either roaches or geckos. The kitchen window is rusted open and one of the slated windows is missing a screen, makes it questionable to use the AC when the largest window in the unit doesn't close. Kitchen sink faucet handle was not screwed on and fell off. Finally, the owner stopped by the neighboring condo one night for some key problem and ended up coming inside our unit to look at the sink and "recent remodel". He was visibly quite drunk and annoyingly bumbled around the rental ranting about nothing before driving off...
I'll be trying other options next time I'm in Kaua'i. Everything is super expensive, might as well find a place that is worth the price.

This is a super cool little place in a nice part of Princeville. Coffee, restaurants and grocery stores are all a short drive or even a brisk walk away. Super quiet neighborhood with lots of cool beaches and spots to stargaze. Would def stay again.
