We adore the Wailea ekahi village. It’s the 3rd time we’ve stayed here, each time in different units. The location is fantastic, the property is amazing - the garden are gorgeous and the pools/pavilion are great amenities. It’s quiet and peaceful. The studio layout for 2 adults is great. We really appreciated all of the extras in this unit from games, books, beach toys and supplies. It has been updated with newer beach decor.

We stay at Ekahi Village every time we're in Maui. This condo was clean and a good location. It's a 10-minute or 3 minute drive walk down to the main pavilion and beach. Would recommend the AC be turned on prior to guests arriving as it was extremely hot in the unit on our arrival.

I had a wonderful stay in this studio unit at Wailea Ekahi. In Maui for a family wedding, our group members were spread out all across this property in various units. Many of the units were very dated, but this unit, 48-D, was in exceptional condition - completely updated with beautiful finishings, a well-appointed kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. There were beach chairs, a boogie board, a beach umbrella, and cooler provided, which came in very handy. I was also thankful to have AC in the Maui summer heat, though it could only go as low as 72 degrees - I would have preferred a slightly cooler temperature to sleep in. I found the unit incredibly clean and well maintained. Out of my entire travel group, my unit was the ONLY one without an ant problem. I even received a knock on the door one morning from a Pest Control Specialist who was there to complete a maintenance spray of the unit. So it is clearly done regularly with excellent success - thank you!!! Check in was easy, all instructions were clear and easily accessed through the Hospitality App. I even arrived to find a bag of Maui Coffee Co. ground coffee and Honolulu Cookie Company Mini Bites! A thoughtful touch and much enjoyed during my stay. I highly recommend this property and unit!

My husband and I thought we would try a studio unit this visit. The unit itself was fine and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, we are readers and were disappointed to find there were no chairs in the living room and only a bar-height table and stools on the lanai. As a result. we had to read inside with one of us sitting on the bed and one on the couch. We felt a little cooped up. That being said, for a different type of renter (rarely at home and more focused on tv or non-reading activities), we could see this being a great, more affordable unit.

We have stayed at several Ekahi properties, from studios to 2BR over the years. This is a clean, nice upper level studio, in a quiet complex and has everything one would need with one exception. One side chair would be really nice. We had the sofa bed in use for our teen, and unfortunately I arrived suddenly sick, happened quite unexpectedly on the plane and I spent the first 24 hours in bed, in the unit, and the following 24 not much better, for a 3 night stay. There was no where comfortable to sit, except the bed during the night when I needed to be up and moving a little. There are two counter height stools inside, and four counter height stools outside. I found myself sitting on the toilet at night to rest just so I could have my feet on the ground and not be lying down. We always learn things when we travel, and this isn’t a knock on the furnishings - they are nice the bed was comfy and the sofa bed met my kids need. I just realized it’s very important to have a normal height side chair somewhere in the room where feet can be put on the ground when we travel. And meclizine, always travel with meclizine! Anyhoo, this is a nice property, would be great for a couple who didn’t need to use the sofa bed. My only other complaint was the AC is insanely loud. I wear moldable earplugs when I sleep and the AC easily cut through them and woke me up many times during the night. If you’re a light sleeper do keep this in mind.

We enjoyed staying at this well equipped clean updated condo with a partial ocean view. Keyless entry was very easy. BBQ’s just steps from unit. A bit of a walk down to pool/beach but we needed the exercise. Gorgeous sunsets from lower pool area or the lawn beside the unit. Overall a great stay!

Very nicely furnished with well-stocked kitchen. Management was prompt fixing a minor problem. Beautiful beach and scenic views, grounds are well- kept. Condo is in a quiet location with two of the smaller pools nearby, longer walk to the beach. A beautiful place in Maui and our favorite in Hawaii.

Well cared for property. Nice bed and bath, kitchen with good cookware and appliances. Easy walk to pavilion pool and beach with good snorkeling right there. Walk back uphill a little strenuous but beautiful with landscaping. Great sunsets nightly. Definitely a 5/5!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in 48-D. The unit was compact but uncluttered. The air conditioning and ceiling fans kept the unit cool. Beautiful views of the sunset from the deck. It's a bit of a hike down and back to the main pool and pavilion, but not too bad. The pool that was close to the unit was excellent and never crowded. The kitchen was fully stocked with all you need, including 3 types of coffee makers (Kurig, drip and French press). We appreciated all of the extra items they had for beach use. There was a large and a small boogie board, 4 beach chairs, a small cooler, a rattan sand mat, and even a collapsable wagon. We would highly recommend this unit as a place to stay and will book there as soon as we can come back to lovely Maui.

Stayed here as the first stop on our honeymoon. Much more affordable than hotels in wailea and complex is just as nice. A little hard to find the beach at first but once you locate the main pavilion pool you are good from there! We loved the studio and had everything we needed.

We had the best stay at 48D! It has a partial view of the ocean and is very cute inside! We were comfortable, but we’re so busy we weren’t in the room too much. For those of us who like a plush bed, this one is on the firm side FYI! We cooked dinner down at the pool/new kitchen area a few nights and it was extremely nice. Snorkeling right outside the main pool was pure perfection around 7am. Do note the closest pool was closed while we were there, but you have a couple of others to choose from! Also note, it’s a good 5–7 min walk to the main pool and beach access and a bit of a hike back, but so worth it! We had one issue of the lock not opening for us, but the rental company had someone look at it while we were on an all-day excursion and was able to get into as soon as we got back! I would come back here 100xs over!

The studio was well represented by the photos provided. It was tastefully and adequately furnished. The A/C intermittently blew warm air rather than cold but the ceiling fans were adequate most of the time. There are no grab bars in the shower. The only seating for dining is stools at the kitchen bar and a bistro style table on patio. No options but sofa or bed for short/disabled guests to sit to eat. Quiet pool area near unit was a treat. Lack of patio lounger a disappointment. Having stayed in many units at Ekahi and Elua, I probably would rank this as my least favorite rental but that is not to say it wouldn’t be a great choice for someone else.

This place is the cutest! The unit is clean, updated and has exactly what you need and what you didn’t realize you did (e.g. beach chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, ziplocks, etc.) The property is absolutely stunning and a perfect location to walk to neighboring beaches and explore the several pools. I hate to give anything less than 5 stars, but the condo’s AC unit does not work. The team advised the unit must stay at 72 setting — which put our room at nearly 85 degrees internally. I would love to stay in the future, but hope this gets replaced first as the maintenance tech who visited said he couldn’t fix it. If you can verify this has been replaced, this place is an easy homerun! We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The only callout I would make is that it is extremely muggy and I don’t think that the air conditioning unit works properly. The room was extremely hot for sleeping in and wouldn’t cool off despite both fans and the air conditioner unit being on. Otherwise, good location, great beach supplies provided and perfect for 2!

Peaceful location and quiet neighbors. There's a beautiful beach walking distance, which is good for swimming and beach walks. The bed was very comfortable! There's a large deck and beach supplies are available. Only issue would be the refrigerator making a loud noise in the middle of the night, but that is easily fixed.

We stayed in studio 48-D. First let me say that we have never seen a rental so very, very clean and organized. We were impressed. Whoever is the cleaner for this unit should get a lot of praise. It's a nice setup. Quiet, easy parking, close to beach and pool. Our only concern was the AC was loud and didn't cool our unit. Luckily weather was nice so we turned off a/c and kept sliding door open at night. Perfect.

Villa needs paint job & new carpet - scuffed & stained. Cleaning job was only far. No map or directions or instructions for entire complex - had to figure out on our own. More about protecting property, & less about accommodating guests who pay top dollar. VRBO was exagerted - way in north end of complex, opposite of main pool, Bach & clubhouse. Seek unit in 20 numbered buildings. Overall nice complex though & nice area.

We stayed in 48D. Had partial ocean view which was awesome as we could watch whales through our binoculars on our lanai. Our condo had air conditioning which was much needed. We originally had a bit of a walk to the beach as we couldn’t figure out how to get there but once we figured out the route, the walk wasn’t long. The beach is nice place to go and watch the sunsets.
