Maui Sunset #B222 is a lovely condo with a beautiful ocean and sunset view. Situated near the pool.and hot tub as well. Condo was clean and functional and nicely met our needs (Family of six). Enjoyed time on the lanai morning and evening. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We are glad we found this rental, it met our needs accommodating 5 adults. We loved the large lanai and view. My brother and SIL had the twin beds and they were not comfortable. The sofa sleeper and king bed were great. The property manager addressed a few issues asap. Very nice complex and nice people there. If you want five star this is not that but it is a good value and quite comfortable.

This property worked out great for us. Location is great, the pool was nice and easy access to the beach. Each night we enjoyed an amazing sunset from the beach. Short distance to shops and restaurants. Only negative was cleanliness of the kitchen counters and the table. We took care of it and a great time.

This was a wonderful place to stay, close to the beach. My children and family loved everything about it. We would stay here again. I would also recommend this location to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and also have access to the pool and many games and fun things to do on location.

Out of all the vrbo properties we've stayed at this one is our favorite. From the location to the size of the condo to the amenities to the view it just doesn't get better than this. The lanai is enormous and we had plenty of room to enjoy the view in the evening or our coffee in the morning. There were plenty of beach supplies in the front closet including sand toys, beach towels, chairs, snorkel equipment and boogie boards just to name a few. The pool (and hot tub) was just a few steps away and it was incredibly refreshing and well kept. The beach had many sea turtles popping their heads up out of the water as we watched the sunset or went on our morning stroll. Each bedroom had an a/c unit as well as a ceiling fan which made the nights very comfortable. We traveled with our 13 and 11 year old daughters so the second bathroom made getting ready so much faster. The beds were comfortable and there was ample bedding in case an extra blanket was needed. There are grocery stores, restaurants, food trucks and other beaches just minutes away. We found this to be a great location to drive to the Road to Hana, Haleakala for sunrise and the west side for snorkeling. It was perfectly located on the island so all of our adventures were doable. It is just steps away from the beach and we never had any trouble parking in the parking lot. We would love to come back to this property again! The owners are great to communicate with as well. Awesome property!

The room was the perfect size for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). Plenty of space, great location in Kihie, and beautiful grounds. The kitchen was stocked with essentials that we needed and there were even noodles, boogie board, and beach chairs. It was great to be able to do laundry as well.

The only downside to our trip was they were doing construction in the condo next to ours that was very loud during the day, lots of saws and drills. We really enjoyed our stay here at the property and the conveniences that it offered. There are multiple shopping centers and dining areas within walking distance or even 2 to 3 miles. About 25 minutes to the airport in one direction and 25 minutes the other direction to Lahaina. The beach is literally one minute walk from the room with amazing views. The communication was great and the condo was very clean and thoughtfully planned. I loved the cushy carpet...There are multiple immenities and leftover products from previous guests that make staying here feel like home and also reduce the cost of extra expenses. A good amount of space for multiple people.
The reason for the 4 star experience was more related to the upkeep of the outside of the property. Once we arrived the actual outside of the property is pretty dated and could use a coat of paint. Also there is a rodent and roach issue with multiple droppings in front of doorways and down hallways. This is very concerning!
Also the 2 single beds were very uncomfortable. The main bed and the pull out couch were perfect.

While not the most up to date property, for the price and location, we are very happy to have stayed here. The carpet and furniture are dated, but in good shape. This space was perfect for our family of 5 and could have accommodated a couple more kids if needed. We didn't spend much time in the condo except while sleeping because we were out and about all the time. Kids enjoyed the sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, and shade umbrellas. They also loved the pool and hot tub.
The grounds are great, extremely well maintained, and while the beach in front of the resort was a bit rocky, the kids loved playing there on our first morning.
The apartment had pretty much everything we needed as far as dishes and such went, we really didn't have to go buy anything else that was needed except food.
For the price and location we would 100% stay here again, and if we are lucky enough to visit Maui again, we will be looking to stay here again.

My family of 5 loved our August stay at this property.
Kitchen:The kitchen was well stocked with quality gear. We cooked most breakfasts and lunches and never wanted for any cookware or be tableware.
Baths: The bathrooms were a bit small, but that's to be expected, and still sufficient for our needs. The lack of bathtub was never a problem, even for our 6 year old.
Living room: The living room was huge and the large mirrors made the space feel even bigger. Wifi worked great, most of the time, and when it didn't, we were able to get it fixed with minimal trouble. Good selection of books, including fiction and Maui guidebooks.
Dining: between the 2-seater bar, four seater table inside and 4 seater table on the lanai we had plenty of space to eat.
Beds: Bedrooms were on the small side, but sufficient. My 6 year old slept in the living room on one of the pads provided in the master closet usuad of the sofa sleeper, and there was no lack of space.
AC: the 3 AC units (both bedrooms and the living room) cooled the space efficiently, and the many be fans provided helped spread the cool air around even faster. We turned the AC off during the day, as requested, and had no in problem cooling the unit off when we returned in the heat of the day.
Pool: my kids loved this pool! Enough shade between the umbrellas and palm trees, and tons of sun! They light torches after sunset and the pool is open until 10. The hot tub is kept quite hot. There is a closet at the pool with shuffle board gear, which my kids loved, a bocce ball set, and several other outdoor games/equipment.
Gear in the unit that we used: 2 beach umbrellas, beach towels, small coolers with ice packs, sand toys, 2 boogie boards (although one was missing the strap), pool noodles, beach chairs, pfds for the kids, and a big, sparkly innertube. Oh and a big container of Aloe!
Beach: there are much better beaches for swimming and snorkeling, and we spent our beach days there. However this beach was great for walking along and getting your feet wet while looking for coral bits that wash up along the shore. (There is a foot wash near the pool area).
Sunsets: absolutely amazing! The view of the sun setting over the tip of west Maui was perfect right from the condo lanai. I never valued a good view from my room until I stayed here.
Responsiveness: we had a plumbing back up while we were there, and called the house keeper, and had a plumber out and it was resolved in less than 7 hours. Excellent!

We did encounter an issue with an AC unit not working properly. I reached out to the owner, Terry and he attempted to rectify the issue as soon as possible. Although the issue couldn’t be resolved until after we departed, I am extremely satisfied with the inconvenience reimbursement that has already been submitted. Terry was very professional and friendly throughout the whole process.
If you’re looking for a beautiful condo with gorgeous grounds and a great pool, this is the unit for you!

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. The location was gorgeous with the huge lawn and ocean right in front. Loved the hot tub for body aches at the end of the day. Close to restaurants & shops & food trucks. We drove to Makena and sat Oceanside for a few hours, amazing!
We were unsure if we needed to empty the garbage and we did start the dishwasher.

We rented this condo for 6 adults. Plenty of room for what we needed, 2 adults slept in each bedroom and 2 adults on the pull out couch in the living room(which was actually quite comfortable). Enjoying time on the lanai daily with views of the ocean was great too.
