We loved everything about our stay. The view from this unit is incredible and sunrises are magical. It's a quick walk to a wonderful swimming beach and we were thrilled to find a fully-stocked locker with boogie boards, snorkel sets, and beach chairs. The unit is overall very well-equipped (for cooking, outdoor activities, etc) and we especially appreciated the personal touches like the welcome bag of Kauai treats. We found the location of Kaha Lani to be ideal, given that we could easily access Kapa'a (which has a ton of shops and restaurants) and also reach the other parts of the island in under 30 minutes. Remax provided great service from start to finish, which made the process easy and smooth. They also connected us with an on-island concierge who helped us book activities. We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay, everything is as advertised. The property and pool area is very well maintained, the grounds staff were there daily. The complex is very quiet and the area in general is very quiet compared to north and south shores. Beautiful morning sunrises and beach strolls. The unit had everything we needed to cook basics and pack picnic lunches. The bed was comfortable and the washer/dryer worked well. Only complaint from the teenager is the roosters waking her up (they are everywhere 24hrs a day). The lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem, except we had a rainy stretch and the humidity was very high and everything felt damp all the time. I'd highly recommend this property.

Overall the condo was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, 2 of the boogie boards were broken, but I notified the staff and they will be replaced. The condo was very nicely stocked with beach towels, newer snorkels, and an umbrella. We will definitely stay here again!

The condo was perfect for us. The view was amazing. We walked to the park and learned more about our favorite island. The location enabled us to explore all parts of Kauai, including Hanapepe, Poipu, Hanalei and secluded beaches in between! We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying here, everything was beautiful, and clean, and the view and noise from the ocean was just as we hoped it would be and the bed was extremely comfortable!
The lack of an air conditioner was noticeable, but we kept the windows open to enjoy the trade winds and it was great to have the moist ocean breeze the whole day and night to cool us.

We absolutely loved staying here, everything was beautiful, and clean, and the view and noise from the ocean was just as we hoped it would be and the bed was extremely comfortable!

The condo is equipped with everything that is needed for a beach vacation. It is located with direct access to the beach and a great pool on the premises. Loved listening to the sound of the ocean at night and watching the sunrise every morning. Although there is no AC in the unit, there is a good air draft as you open all the windows and temperature is pleasant.

Roomy unit with comfy beds. We spent 5 nights here and found everything we needed! Unit provided laundry pods, dishwasher pods, coffee, a few cookies, even beach towels and a great cold fridge. Great condo,with beautiful ocean front view.
Grounds were beautiful with blooming flora everywhere.
The surf was omnipresent to hear and wonderful to watch. The interior furnishings were fairly new and all appliances were very new. Well supplied kitchen and at least 3 gas grills around the property which we used twice for cooking dinner. Four nice beach chairs and four boogie boards were appreciated.
Condo was impeccably clean and came with a nice selection of welcome snacks and even a gift card. Remax-Angela, was very responsive to one issue we had.
Be prepared for the roosters crowing at 5 AM as they are everywhere and are even louder than the surf. Aloha.

This unit was all that we could ask for and more. The location is ideal for experiencing all parts of Kauai, an hour drive to anyplace on the island. The actual unit faces the ocean, with cool ocean breezes and the sound of crashing waves when windows are open. And we kept them open the whole time! All windows are screened. There is no A/C, but fortunately we didn’t need it in early August. Second floor unit so very private and safe. The unit is beautifully updated, has a fully stocked kitchen, and even has beach chairs and snorkel equipment available to use. There is a paved walking path just steps away, as well as the beach which is good for walking on at low tide. The town of Kapaa is very close by with our favorite shave ice place Wailua Shave Ice, and our favorite place for fish tacos Tony’s Catch. Our family of 4 loved staying at this unit!

The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and feel at home. It was wonderful to have chairs, umbrella, and a cooler available for us so we didn't have to go buy any of that stuff! Our only adjustment was the lack of A/C. Southern people love their A/C. BUT...we adjusted and would definitely stay here again, if given the opportunity.

The home was a perfect place for our family during a week long vacation! It was clean and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking many of our meals. There is no ac so we left the sliding doors and windows open at night for the sound of the waves and a pleasant breeze kept us cool. The view from the deck was spectacular and so relaxing! The location was perfect for a short walk down the beach path to Lydgate Beach which the kids loved. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and didn’t want to leave!

This unit is located in the Kaha Lani resort less than five miles north of the airport. This is a good location for shopping and exploring the island as Lihue and Kapa'a are nearby. Our 2-bedroom unit was on the second floor with an excellent view of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals although a bit small for more than one person to work at a time. There is a well maintained walking path along the shore.If you don't mind slogging through a 10-page rental agreement, this is a wonderful choice for your visit to The Garden Island.

Location, Location, Location!! Kaha Lani Resort is truly situated in an ideal location between Wailua Golfcourse & Lydgate Beach Park centered between the towns of Lihue and Wailua/Kapa'a. Unit 202 has stunning oceanfront views, 2 Decks, c/w Raised Table 4 chairs, and additional lounge furniture. The unit was ideal for us being 4 adults w 2 bedrooms, we joined the 2 twin beds together in the second bedroom to accomodate our needs. The unit is well equipped, and the Kaha lani Resort is beautifully maintained, swimming pool, plenty of parking and more.
Watch the beautiful sunrise, walk miles of sandy beach just outside our door. RE/MAX took care of any concerns. We truly can't wait to book fior next year.

The location was great but the property needs a serious uplift and the cleaning needs to be significantly improved. There are no locks to the 2 balcony doors. Only way to secure them is with wooden sticks. The mosquito netting on the balcony windows is torn. Furniture is rusting on the main balcony. Bedding and linen were not cleaned properly. There was still hair left from previous residents. The other note (which is not the property’s fault) is, this property is old so there were repairs in another unit downstairs and we did not have water for a day in one of the restrooms. The property management company did not even know. We had to inform them.

The location and view from the Condo was amazing!! We own a Condo in Kauai Beach Resort, but needed a kitchen this trip so we chose this Condo. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the beds, not very comfortable to sleep on. Otherwise it was fantastic!!

I love this property and you can't beat the location. Kaha Lani is right on the beach as advertised, and perfect for a 4-mile walk (round trip) on the most secluded beach on Kauai every morning.
Beautiful lanais from the living area and the primary bedroom. Nicely furnished.
The traffic on Kauai and through Kapa'a has never been great - just relax - remember you are on vacation.
Things we did - Body surfing at Hanalei Bay, lunch at Duke's (so-so), breakfast at Passion Bakery & Café - very good. Dinner at Hukilau Lanai - very nice - excellent service and great food.
The unit has nice furnishings and we watched the sunrise every morning on the lanai.

Our stay was so delightful , relaxing , waking up to incredible sunrises each morning, sitting on the balcony enjoying coffee and watching the sun rise over the ocean was so magical! The condo is very comfortable , well maintained and stocked with everything you need, and extras ! The location is perfect in the kappa area , central on the island, allows for ease in any directions , for your island adventures. The walking path and bike bath , made daytime or evening rides to the Market place for dinner in the cafes so enjoyable .The near by Lydgate park was a great beach area and playgrounds for our family , and the pool with pool side grills for barbeques , made evening gatherings perfect !WE will return !!

Tired in areas, fly screens not fitting right and all doors have to be locked with a wooden bar kindly provided by the property owner as the actual door locks are not operable. We travelled in October and thought the ocean front location would compensate for the lack of AC, sadly not, the accommodation was 30 plus even during nighttime with 3 fans running. but is advertised as no Ac.bed was comfy, sofa comfy and the chickens a pleasure at 3am but this is a major Hawaii problem! All in all wouldn't stay at this accommodation

Very nicely set up condo with all the basic amenities, well supplied kitchen (cooked many meals), nice pool, beautiful ocean views from the lanais, etc. very conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, multiple parks, walkable beach and trails on-site, playgrounds, etc. Concierge (Derek) was super helpful and significantly improved our stay.
One word of caution: there is no A/C at this resort. That actually was pretty OK (75-85 F during our stay) with the nice and pretty steady ocean breezes. However, the chickens start making noise as early as 3am, and with all the windows open they are very loud. We managed OK, but I’d recommend ear plugs if you have any concerns. Still 5 stars experience.

Our stay was so delightful , relaxing , waking up to incredible sunrises each morning, sitting on the balcony enjoying coffee and watching the sun rise over the ocean was so magical! The condo is very comfortable , well maintained and stocked with everything you need, and extras ! The location is perfect in the kappa area , central on the island, allows for ease in any directions , for your island adventures. The walking path and bike bath , made daytime or evening rides to the Market place for dinner in the cafes so enjoyable .The near by Lydgate park was a great beach area and playgrounds for our family , and the pool with pool side grills for barbeques , made evening gatherings perfect !WE will return !!

Was a great well equipped condo, have stayed at more than 10 different units at this resort. Stayed multiple times in same unit for past 20 years. Very nice and comfortable. A few things to make this unit shine. Have either a hideabed or even better a Murphy bed, or even a queen size blow up bed. Nothing better than sleeping in the living room listening to the waves all night long. Only complaint is the turning on of the TV had trouble getting it to start up, this went on for the whole two weeks we were there. Luckily I was able to get it to somehow work. 4.5 stars

Overall stay was excellent. Condo was exactly what we were looking for with our family of 4, kids had their own room and bathroom. View was awesome and only 100 yards from beach. Fairly equal distant from north and south shore so convenient day trips both ways. Definitely would recommend.

The condo is as described. Clean and well equipped. The built in washer/drier is very handy.
Location is fantastic. You can walk along the beach and get to Lyndgate Beach in 4 minutes. This is a protected cove ideal for little swimmers that still has fish and snorkeling options.
Recommend this place without hesitation.

1000 steps to Lydgate protected swim area. Quite shallow at low tide, much deeper and wild at high tide. Loved swimming twice a day, regardless of ocean currents.
Unit has a fabulous view of the ocean and sunrise.

+ very close to beach that is usually empty. We enjoyed morning walks with hardly anyone.

Bad:
- no beach chairs
- no high table/chairs in balcony
- no picnic cooler
- multiple and conflicting check in and checkout instructions
- washer in unit is broken
- no A/C
- 1st bathroom shower is tiny
- 2nd bathroom not in good shape! Water is slow to drain from tub
- we were not told we were supposed to put a parking permit in car until we received tow notice from resort.

Great location - very convenient whether going up north or down south. Beautifully maintained grounds. Proximity to Lyndgate Park was an added bonus. Shout out to Steve (Security) who helped us with the BBQ grill.

My only stipulation was that I wanted to wake up every morning and watch the sun rise from my patio. This place delivered just that and more! It was the perfect spot for an affordable getaway. Just 10 minutes from the airport and a Safeway tucked away in a beautiful community. We’d been to the island before and wanted something a bit more centrally located so we could easily drive up to Princeville or down to Poipu. We had our two small children with us and the twin beds were perfect for them and the master bed was SO comfortable, something I always worry about. The community pool is small and the shallowest part is 4 ft so keep that in mind if you’re bringing small kids. The waves are also intense on the east shore so swimming isn’t an option at the beach but we knew that going in…we just wanted the view! We spent most of our days on excursions and at the beach in Poipu. Also, I’m sure there’s laundry on site (we never needed it) but there isn’t any in the condo. Lastly, if you didn’t know…roosters and chickens run wild on the island (google why…isn’t interesting!) and this property is no exception. If you’re sensitive to a 5am wake up call from a rooster bring a sound machine. There are wonderful fans provided in each bedroom that add some noise but my husband whose extremely grumpy in the morning needed something a but louder.

Loved the location - central to everything on the island. Condo was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Could use a bit of updating, but overall was a great stay. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The view from the lanai was spectacular and the walking path was so nice. Would definitely stay again!
