The place was very nice and very clean. The beds were comfy and it was close to a lot of activities. They communicated well and quickly. They left beach stuff (chairs, towels, goggles,etc) that was a super nice bonus! Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. The sunrise view over the jungle was gorgeous, the water pressure was great, the amenities were perfect. The bed was firm but really nice. The owner was quick and responsive.

Our stay at this studio was great! It was perfect for my spouse and I. It was very clean, comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to enjoy our coffee with the view. The kitchenette was also very practical as we were able to prepare lunches etc. Would stay again!

Really enjoyed my stay at this condo over in Princeville. The location was pretty prime, walking distance to the Makai golf course, Hideaway Beach, and 1Hotel. Also was a very short drive into Hanalei which made getting around a breeze.
The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with AC that made some of the warmer evenings more bearable. The lanai was beautiful and I often enjoyed breakfast or coffee out there on a nice morning. This would be a great unit for anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay up in Princeville and positions you close to some of the best attractions up there. Would definitely recommend to friends or family!
Couple small areas of improvement:
- The beach gear felt pretty outdated (aside from chairs). The umbrella had definitely seen better days and the snorkels were both broken in certain areas which was disappointing.
- Parking was a tad bit confusing at first not realizing that I was in the studio and not the loft unit. Wound up figuring it out and worked out fine but the spaces do fill up in the evenings so just plan accordingly.

This property was the perfect studio in Princeville. Positioned next to many restaurants and beaches it is the perfect place to stay if you are checking out the North Shore. Checkin and Checkout process was seamless, plenty of parking and the hosts were very easy to communicate with! There were also beach chairs and towels waiting for us when we arrived! Would recommend this property to anyone!

Nicely decorated and nice location within walking distance of 2 beaches and sunset overlook just down the street. Nice to have sand chairs, boogie board, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment so we didn’t have to rent. Place was sufficient. Lanai in sun, so not used. Parking is an issue. Challenging if you get in after 8ish.

We absolutely loved John’s studio in Princeville! The location is wonderful, Princeville is a beautiful and walkable area, we were able to walk to a pretty beach and Queen’s Bath. Beautiful view from the balcony. Very quiet and peaceful. Spacious with a comfy bed and everything we needed including beach stuff. We were able to cook breakfast with the hot plate and toaster oven and microwave. The cooler backpack came in handy as did the a/c for sleeping. The north end of Kauai is magical, don’t miss Tunnels Beach. And parking was great, got parking right in the lot by the condo every night (we did return by 9 every night). Our only regret is not staying two weeks, we are now on the south end of Kauai and it doesn’t begin to compare.

Google maps put us right at the door after an extremely long trip to the island from the mainland. Condo has everything we needed and more. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler came in handy. Water pressure is fantastic . Walking distance to the best beaches on the island. Great grocery store, restaurants and shop 5 minutes from the condo. I could go on and on. We'll be back as soon as we can and rent this condo.

Our 6th time to Kauai & this studio was perfect for our 3rd week (post grandkids...). A wonderful location (our favorite part of Princeville) - easy walk to 2 awesome beaches (swimming & snorkelling), scenic overlooks, & albatross dancing & nesting nearby on the golf course. A wonderful private balcony with ever changing views of Bali Hai & mountains from sunrise to sunset. Quiet, clean, & comfortable! Well equipped & supplied for basic cooking. Nearby cocktails/dining - our favorites Happy Talk Lounge & Tiki Iniki. A short drive to boogie board at Hanalei or a sunset drive to Tunnels. John was a wonderful host. Hope to stay here again.

Overall great stay. Parking can be an issue, but the manager/owner did a good job to mitigate problems.
It did take a little to find as we arrived in the dark.
Good value accommodation and if you are planning on touring the north of the island it is very central.

John’s communication was very helpful along the way and the place was cozy and nice! We loved having the AC as an option and being able to use the BBQ grill in the evenings. The neighbors are very quiet and respectable. We always got a peaceful nights sleep and woke up every morning to birds chirping and a beautiful view. Overall a wonderful stay!

John's handout, including the discounts at the supermarket were fantastic. He went above and beyond what we've experienced from owners in the past. It was a marvelous experience for us. The views were unbelievable, the TV and all the channels were fanastic, the bed was comfortable, everything was spotless, the location, (if you like the North Shore, which we do) was amazing. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed John's unit. It was our home away from home.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip and it was better than it looks online! The host had the “kitchen” fully stocked with condiments, spices, pots and pans. You can definitely still cook in this space. The host communicated well and thought of every detail for our stay. He even had snorkeling gear, chairs and a cooler backpack for the beach! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!
