This place is right above the coastline and you hear the waves crashing as you fall asleep at night. The beds are super comfortable too. The pool has great view and the waves occasionally splash up on the deck of the pool which we thought was awesome to see and hear also. We saw turtles everyday from the balcony. The location was great with easy parking, and was within walking distance of the beach, boogie boarding and a few restaurants and shops. The sunsets were great to watch from the balcony every evening.

This property is truly all about its location. I think it had one of the best views within the condo complex. Right on the water, we watched the sea turtles ALL THE TIME. Beautiful sunrises in the morning , the moon on the water at night and watching the turtles in between, I simply couldn’t ask for anything more. Nice kitchen, comfy beds, ocean sounds while we slept. All perfect.
There is some room for improvement however. The couch is tiny and not very comfortable. It is a two bedroom after all but no way can 4 adults stay there, maybe a child or 2 but that’s it.It also would have been nice to have a tv in at least one of the bedrooms. Again, it is a two bedroom with only one television in the whole place. And sometimes it’s nice to lie in bed and watch something. Plenty of mirrors all around, no need for one on the dresser too.
The thing that truly bothered us was the fact that there were renovations going on in the condo above us. Very loud renovations. And although we understand that this is a necessity it would have been nice to be given a heads up about it. And if the owner / manager wasn’t aware either then he should have addressed the issue when I emailed him about it. No one answered me. An apology and some sort of acknowledgment of the disturbance with a discount or a gift of some sort would have been greatly appreciated.
All in all honestly no regrets, I would book it again if we ever return.

Had a great stay at Poipu Shores. The views are stunning, the pool is great, and the location is perfect for a short walk to the beach. Seeing turtles everyday was a highlight :)

The condo was exactly as expected. The pictures are a good representation and the unit was very clean. The only negative is that the living room sliding door does not lock however there is a stick in the door to keep it secure. The view is amazing!

The main benefit is the striking location literally over crashing waves. You can sit on the large balcony at night and ponder eternity as the stars meet the ocean. Both bedrooms are spacious but the one shared bathroom is tiny with no space for toiletries.The pool is ok and the beaches are within walking distance. Would repeat

This is a very unique property and that it has two ocean front bedrooms. The property manager was fantastic. The air conditioner had to be fixed two times, and both times it was taken care of the same day. We would definitely stay here again. My wife loved watching the turtles from the balcony. This is a good unit for a couple.

The view is gorgeous! Beyond the view and location it wasn't what we expected. I understand when you stay that close to the ocean the salt water does damage to anything outside on the lanai and creates more dust, but the amount of salty dust everywhere in the condo made me feel dirty. The bathroom is the biggest disappointment to the unit. It is the size of my 1/2 bath at home and the sink does not have room to even put a hairbrush on the side of it. Anything you need to use at the sink or in front of the mirror will have to be layed onto the closed toilet seat. Not fun. The shower had a continual loud drip (small stream). I noticed others had put this in their review so for some reason they are choosing not to fix it which is causing a huge amount of mold and mildew buildup in the shower. The drip is so bad that the bar of soap hanging from the soap holder completely melted from the dripping faucet. Needs to be fixed! We had a very bad experience with getting a parking pass, due to the fact our flight arrived on a Friday night and the office on premises is closed until Monday. When we tried to discuss this on their arrival on Monday, they were very hateful and not willing to help or listen to the complaint that we had been given a reminder on our vehicle, even though they were closed. This is not the same company that is renting out this unit, but they are who you have to work with in person, on premises. We will not be back to this location because of this experience.

This condo has excellent marketing - but sadly our expectations weren't met. The view is outstanding, the location is great and the property amenities were wonderful. However this unit was wildly outdated and had several issues. The shower was impossible to turn out without getting soaked, it leaked/dripped when off and the shower curtain had mold. The floors were so dirty that our feet quickly turned black on the bottom. The AC units are old, rattled and loud. They threw out debris on the deck and all over the lounge chairs making so you couldn't use them. The kitchen didn't have the basics- especially anything we could use for door storage such as foil, plastic wrap or Tupperware. The fridge opened in the wrong direction which sounds silly but made it quite challenging to get in and out of.
We paid a lot of money and we're quite disappointed in the quality of this condo.

We enjoyed the views and sounds of the surf. We saw many green turtles down below the pool near the rocks too! We also saw some migrating whales in the distance, about 1/2 mile from shore. Very cool! Restaurants and stores were convenient too.
