The building is aging but the apartment has been uodated with all necessary conveniences. Fantastic view and sunsets, well equipped kitchen. The managers for this apartment are excellent to deal with.

The condo was decorated beautifully with a beautiful view of the harbor. Location is perfect for getting anywhere. The one tiny thing they could improve upon is the bed. It's pretty hard and a memory foam mattress cover would really make it a great bed. I highly recommend this unit. The staff are responsive.

Our family stayed in Big Island for 7 days then went to Oahu for 5 nights. Our condo at Big Island was dated and not very clean. Not what the photos showed. So when we went to Honolulu and opened the door to this condo, we were all blown away at the modernness and cleanliness of the condo. The view was spectacular! The photos did not do the view justice. The photo only showed the marina but the ocean and the lagoon beach to the south was clearly visible.
The pullout sofabed was as comfortable as pullouts get. The owner was thoughtful in providing hand soap in the washroom. Unlike other condos we have stayed in where they barely provided cups , dishes and utensils , the owner here provided more than enough kitchenware. The coffee maker was steel and in clean, working condition.
The only critique I would have is that the property manager was a bit confusing. I emailed and inquired as to what we were responsible for before we left and he said put the dishes and utensils etc where we found them - meaning clean the dishes , dry and put them away.
In the binder in the condo, it says leave the dishes and the cleaning service would look after that. The morning of check out, we did not want to be charged extra so my wife and I ended up cleaning the the dishes , wiping down the counters more than necessary etc because of the misalignment of the binder and the property manager’s email instructions
But not a big deal. In the end, the condo was fantastic and we would go again!

The apartment is in in a perfect location with a a great view of the marina and the ocean. The apartment was super clean. The balcony allows two people to sit and enjoy this view.We were able to prepare our meals and have them at the dining table. For out needs the apartment was great.

We stayed for 9 nights. We loved having the Chart House restaurant the 1st floor. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner twice and happy hour 4 times. The condo is perfect for 2 people. 4 would be a crowd in this size of unit.
The view is Great! Your so high up on the 17th floor you don’t hear any traffic noise, even with the balcony door open all night. I only have two minor issues with the condo. I feel at this level, the cook wear should be up to date. They are old and stick pretty bad. A Costco trip could fix that for $200. The pans are old and in need of replacement. If you eat out every night, no worries. Also, I don't feel you should have to buy basics like salt and pepper when on vacation, such an easy thing to provide and cheap, but an inconvenience when on vacation.
These are pretty minor issues I would say.
More than likely we will be either back to this unit, or another unit in this building. There are many units in this building on VRBO. My wife uses a scooter when we are going a distance. If you park on the top level, there are disabled parking spaces that are close to the elevator and under cover, with NO steps. So these units really are Hanidcap accessible if you know this trick. Also if you go out on the first floor through the parking garage, there are NO steps. It's easy once you understand this. Go have fun! Aloha

We enjoy staying at the Ilikai Marina Condos due to its location. This is the first time in this unit but the amenities are similar to another unit we have rented. A plus this year was being able to watch the fireworks for the start of the Honolulu Marathon from our balcony. We’d stay here again.

This was our second stay at this property. It's so so clean, minimally and beautifully decorated and works well for our family. It's convenient to so much and our daughter attends UH which makes it easy to see her. We really like that it's not just tourists staying here and that half the property is made up of local residents. We missed our flight home and had to stay another night and had no problems at all extending our stay at the last minute. I was very grateful for the ability to stay another night.

There was only one soap, one roll of toilet paper and one set of sheets for both beds, and no laundry detergent. So be ready to have to stock everything yourselves and to do laundry if you’re there more than a week (as we were). Other than that - great place! I’d stay again for sure!

Amazing view clean comfortable. Parking in the same building and was lower cost than the resorts down the beach. If you’re looking for a lower cost option without all the resort fees with access to the same beaches this is it.

I loved staying at the condo. It was immaculate, tastefully done, a moveable door separated the bedroom and living room so you could arrange the space according to your mood, close to so many things to do and it had a breathtaking view. Breathtaking! The condo is half residents and half tourists so it never had that frenetic and busy Waikiki feel. I don't like that zany (too much of everything) Waikiki energy but my daughter attends UH and we wanted to be close to the campus. The building was always quiet and peaceful to come home to. There is no front desk and no restaurants/shops on-site which I really loved because the hustle and bustle of Waikiki was never in the building. It felt like more of a residence which is what I wanted. Nevertheless, there were things to do and see right outside the building. It's an excellent location close to restaurants, ABC Store across the street, etc. The laundry room was so clean and has an amazing app that lets you know exactly how long each cycle takes which was so convenient. I loved watching the action outside from our balcony in the beauty and calmness of the space. I was concerned that the property managers do not work on the weekends, so my questions on the weekends were not answered quickly nor immediately. I was concerned about this lack of communication at first, but the instructions for the condo were so clearly outlined and the condo was in such excellent shape that it didn't really impact our stay. Each time I communicated with the property manager I always had my questions answered clearly (during the week) and very professionally. My only other gripe would be that there were not enough large garbage bags provided for a 10-day stay (nor any Ziploc bags), however, I'll simply bring my own bags when we visit again in a few months. Those few issues were not a deal breaker at all. Overall, I loved staying in the condo and look forward to being there again soon. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a calm, beautiful, tasteful and peaceful place to stay.

Loved it here. The bedroom is sectioned off so if you wanna sleep in just close the wall and go undisturbed. Not in the busy wakiki area but an easy walk to that and ala moana mall.

We had a great time. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and although it’s a lively neighborhood the condo is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!
