It was a great place for two families with adult children in their twenties. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own privacy. Each of us had our own room key. The younger generation could do their thing etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Anyway, the rooms are spacious and very satisfying. Even in expensive Hawaii, you can enjoy take-out meals in your room. There is also a washing machine, so you don't have to worry even if you are staying for a long time.However, the Wi-Fi is fatally unavailable. You can't connect in the bedroom, and the connection disconnects quickly in the dining room. It would be difficult to even check SNS in the room.The kitchen equipment is old and lacks a lot of things, but it is acceptable. During our stay, the drain pipe in the kitchen was clogged, but it was repaired immediately.Also, the power supply in the bathroom did not work, so I could not use the hairdryer.As mentioned above, I had a lot of complaints, but the size of the room and the location make it all bearable.However, I would ask for improvements to the Wi-Fi.

We loved the views and watching the sunrise It was very spacious and perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed the speakeasy restaurant in the hotel and it was nice to have the store for snacks/water. We were only there 2 nights, so didn’t really use much in the kitchen other than coffee pot and mugs.
The location worked well for morning walks at the park/beach.

This place was amazing!! From the spacious rooms and huge bathrooms, to the fully stocked kitchen to the 5 balconies each with a gorgeous, unique view of its own! We truly enjoyed our stay! It was so comfortable, it felt like home away from home! The furniture is absolutely beautiful! Great location near the Ala Moana shopping mall and beach in walking distance. Unit has AC in each room with awesome views. Will definitely consider staying here for future family stays.

Staying at the Ala Moana Hotel is very convenient, lots of choices for shopping and eating. Plus avoids the crowds and traffic of Waikiki. Unit is extremely large, but getting a bit "dated and worn" - no major issues but some wear and tear on furniture, carpet, fixtures, etc. Would definitely stay again...

This property was very spacious, clean, and luxurious. There were 5 lanais you could sit on with 3 different views, including a view of the harbor/ocean and a view of the mountainside. It was perfect for our needs, but did not have any extra amenities such as hair dryers or beach towels/accessories.

The property is as advertised. It was a great respite after our daily excursions. The hotel is popular, so it's lobby & meeting rooms were usually busy. This didn't affect pool or residential areas. Btw, the fitness room and pool deck are awesome. The adjacent Ala Manoa Centre has every entertainment or shopping resource you will need. If you rent a car, save money and park there.
The property management staff was quick to respond to issues or questions. Check-In & check out procedures were seamless.

Beautiful view The condo is niceDo not use their towels they will charge you for them if clean up people state stains do not come out. The picture they showed me look like towels that was never washed. So I wish I would have washed everything myself and put it backI do not feel like the people they pay does a good job in cleaning. There was stains on walls and carpet.The dish washer did not work.The beds slept descent. The pictures are just like the condo.I would stay again but I would not use any other towels and I would take pictures of everything the first day you get there and the last day you get there. The mall is connected to hotel just cross over on 2nd floor.Parking is $35 a night. The garage stink.You park at mall free during operating hours. The rental company takes a little over 48 hours to respond to messages. Print rental agreement you cannot pull it back up on Vrbo after agreeing. You check in at front desk. The rental company was nice enough to mail me Apple Watch back and took the money from my deposit.”

Very clean, spacious room with beautiful views of the mountains and ocean. Bedrooms are master suites and the living and dining areas provide the perfect place to relax and dine in. Large full kitchen with full sized refrigerator. The kitchen was well stocked with ample cooking instruments ( although the knives couldnt cut butter). Three full baths made is easy for everyone to bathe. The only issue we had was the trim on the microhood kept falling off. This room is great for big families who would like to stay in and prepare their own meals.

The property was clean and the photos definitely looked like what was presented via pictures. I also appreciated that the location was really close to a lot of places so we had the option of walking to our destinations.
We waited in line for an hour to check in. While checking in, we were also charged a check in and key fee + parking fee per day. We were surprised that we were charged another check in fee when we were already charged it when booking VRBO. We contacted the VRBO host and apparently we weren’t supposed to get charged that fee. There should be better communication between the host and hotel regarding this fee. I had to go to the front desk multiple times to get it refunded.
Lastly, we were accused of breaking a dining room chair and had our deposit taken from us. We were hardly at the VRBO and spent most of our days out and came back to shower and sleep. We barely even used the dining table and didn’t even noticed that one of the legs on the chair was broken. After checking out, we got an email saying that we broke their dining room chair. This was an all girls trip and I don’t even know how any of us would have broken this chair, even if we wanted to. It was just very upsetting that we were accused of it and also charged a fee when I know that we didn’t. I attempted to email the host regarding this situation and got no response.
Moral of the story, check to make sure nothing is broken before staying at this VRBO otherwise you could get blamed for it & if they charge you another check in fee, don’t pay it because you were already charged it when booking on VRBO.

Big place that perfectly met the needs of our group. Minutes to Ala Moana mall which was very convenient. Place was clean for most part but we still did our wipe down of the common areas that are touched. Lots of balconies but due to construction was not able to go out but great views of the city. Our only issue was one night our room keys stopped working even after resetting in lobby. Hotel staff said host will need to fix and hotel are not responsible. Host could not be reached. Left messages with answering service whom said will send message to host and mark as urgent but never responded that night. Luckily, wife eventually woke up and saw our missed calls to come open door for us. Imagine if she didn’t we would have slept in hallway. This place is nice but needs to have way of contacting host outside of office hours.

The listing mentions construction, but fails to make it very clear that every single balcony is unavailable. Very disappointing.
Our toilet was broken and it took me days to hear word from the owner before getting an insignificant refund of 6%.

It was a nice place to stay. Would have been real nice to use the sliding doors and sit or stand outside. Perhaps could have offered a discount while under construction. That was one of the selling points when I was looking for a place to stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and time in Hawaii.

This is a great setup for us, since we travel to Hawaii with my wife's parents. They get one bedroom and we get the other. We have used this suite twice and the one upstairs on the 34th floor once. We love the convenience of being next to the Ala Moana Center.

You have access to everything you need for daily life within 10 mins from restaurants, department stores to grocery stores! Love it! Per night, our visit was a HUGE value for our family's vacation. We got so much more for just a little more money. Beautiful property with exceptional views, very comfortable, and extremely convenient to everything! The full kitchen saved us tons of money we didn't have to pay for restaurants, too.
The only things I'd change are to replace the child-sized toilet in one of the bathrooms with an adult-sized one, and update the shower heads to include integrated handheld units.

Great property that fit our needs perfectly. Traveling with my daughter and 3 grandchildren. The location was ideal, and we did not rent a car for our stay. Kitchen had all the necessary amenities to allow us to eat in for most of our meals. Target was only a block way which was very convenient. The beaches near property were close and much quieter than Waikiki yet that beach was still accessible with a slightly longer walk.

Loved this property! It was huge with 6 balconies!!!! The location felt pretty close to everything. I literally have nothing bad to say except just need more cups/dinnerware or bring your own! There were 6 of us in the house and only 2 cups, such a small concern though! Overall highly recommended this place!

Great unit in a great location. The unit was large with plenty of room for a family of five to spread out. Good bargain for the price you are paying vs the amount of space you are getting. Very quiet even though its in a busy neighborhood.

This was by far an amazing find. It is excellent f9r families. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The living room was great to sit and converse in the morning and evening. The 2.5 bathrooms meant no one had to wait. The full kitchen and washer and dryer were also nice touches. Access to all of the hotel amenities was also a nice touch. Parking was additional, but secured.
