Packing for your Kahana Sunset stay is easy, as we provide our guests: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, hotel-quality towels and linens, beach towels, and a starter supply including paper products, trash bags, laundry and dish detergents, soaps, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
Kahana Sunset charges a $65.00 plus tax resort fee that we collect and pass on the resort on your behalf. You will find that Kahana Sunset is ideally situated as you are only a short drive to all of West Maui's beautiful beaches, Dining, Shopping, and Entertainment in Kapalua, Ka'anapali and Lahaina.

I Highly recommend this condo. Spacious, clean and comfortable interior with all the amenities you’ll need for your stay. The grounds at Kahana Sunset are lovely, safe, quiet and guests and staff are all very friendly and respectful. There is a pool and small beach area that is perfect for swimming. The neighborhood is really nice too, shopping mall nearby with grocery store, restaurants and cute shops. Highly recommend going to the farmer’s market nearby on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We got the freshest island produce there, and especially the fruits were amazing. A great place to support the local makers if you’re looking to buy souvenirs. We visited other areas nearby but by far, our condo and neighborhood were the nicest.

This was a perfect spot to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The unit was very clean, and updated. I was able to work with iTrips (Leanna) to have a little surprise set up for my Husband. She was able to accommodate my request and made our Anniversary night very romantic. The property Manager (Carol) was super friendly and informative.
We enjoyed our stay and Would love to return and stay in the same unit. We had a straight view to the beach and the Sunsets that were phenomenal!

As always we enjoyed a great vacation here. the condo was very nice. When we arrived it was spotless. We did have a minor issue with the hot water, but the issue was addressed and fixed . We have been coming here for over 30 years and still enjoy it as much as the first year. Grounds are beautiful and well kept uo.

We visit the Kahana Sunset every year and have stayed in over a dozen different units. We will prioritize getting into this unit in the future.
The Pros: The Kahana Sunset grounds are lovely, the guests tend to be friendly and respectful, and the attached beach is frequented nearly exclusively by Kahana Sunset guests. This unit is tastefully updated (not all Kahana Sunset units are similarly updated). The kitchen supplies are exhaustive. The bed is comfortable and soft. The AC unit works great (we’ve stayed in both AC and non-AC units; our preference is definitely AC for most of the year). The view is lovely (a straight view of the gardens and water).
The Neutrals: The Kahana Sunset beach is eroding, so each year, there is less available beach. There’s still a solid section for suntanning and playing in the sand, though. As normal, March weather is variable—we had a mix of sunny, rainy, and windy weather.
The (Potential) Cons: This unit is located right next to a grass strip where kids like to play. We didn’t mind, but the one-bedroom D-units aren’t as private as, say, the E, C, or B units. The Kahana Sunset is an older complex. As stated, this unit is beautifully updated, though.
Comments for iTrip management team: The toilet runs and needs a new flapper valve. We appreciated the late checkout—thanks! Thanks for prioritizing a comfortable bed. This is a simple update that makes a BIG difference to the guest experience.

Despite key code not working upon checking in, issue was quickly remedied with super pleasant staff and timely response. Sunsets were amazing and other families staying near by were extremely friendly. All around great experience. Would definitely stay here again!
