Limited restaurants in area, but we cooked at home a lot anyways. Excellent stock of the condo- plenty of beach toys, chairs, snorkels etc, as well as ice chest and any kitchen item /spices etc that you would need. We are already planning a return!

The place was smaller than the other places we had stayed in before at Mauna Lani Golf Villas. Did loved that the place was ground level. For the price the property needed to be updated to be considered a luxury property. The fan in the BBQ needed to be repaired or replaced the fan didn’t work. The AC ducts needed to be clean full of heavy dust. The place is fine for four adults or just one family of two adults and two children.
We have friends that lived there in the Mauna Lani Golf Villas that is very important to us. Our family had a wonderful time on the Big Island. We are coming back to Golf Villas but are staying at a larger place at the same price.

Other amazing wonder Beaches were like a 15 or 20 minute
drive. Our area is usually sunny.

We enjoyed this property very much. Clean, quiet, nicely furnished, good floor plan, close to the beautiful pool. We used the pass for the beach club nearly everyday. Perfect beach for a toddler.

Wonderful location and very nice condo. Condo was clean, had everything you’d need for a nice stay. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning with coffee. The pool in the community is also really lovely and well maintained. I worked from the condo doing video meetings and never had any issues with connectivity.

Very mich enjoyed this property. It was roomy, clean, and the views were fantastic.
Golf course view with a clear view of Mauna Kea behind ot made for amazing sunrises and sunsets.
This unit is close to pool, beach club, Mauna Lani hotel and the market.
We really enjoyed our stay.

The condo was beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and we cooked a lot. We also appreciated the boogey boards, beach chairs and umbrellas for days at the beach. The pool was nice but smaller than it looks in the photos. Other guests we met on the property were friendly so it had a nice vibe. The unit looks out onto the green golf course which is really pretty. Access to the private beach is a nice perk. There were a few minor things that could be improved which is more beach towels, extra essentials like trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent and 2-ply toilet paper. The garage could also use some cleaning. The property manager Violet was helpful and responsive to the few things we needed. We would stay here again and rent the same unit.

This property really has it all if you are willing to forego a view of the ocean for a view of a beautiful golf course surrounded by lava and fabulous tropical flowers with birds singing as you wake up! This townhouse has everything you need and more. The furnishings are lovely, up-to-date, and comfortable. The decor has a tropical feel without going overboard. They are exactly as the pictures show. Having been a vacation rental owner myself, I do not know how they are able to keep the furnishings and decor in such good condition. Vacation tenants can be rough on your property, but this townhouse and everything in it look like new. While we were here, a couple came to clean the grill and that gave us a clue. They cleaned the grill with a power washer. Took the whole thing out of its counter on the lanai and cleaned it all til it shone. That grill was a great part of our stay as our friend grilled fresh fish that was better than what we had at restaurants. The garage is stocked with a variety of beach toys, coolers, and beach mats. The kitchen has quality appliances by Cuisinart, Samsung, knives by Henckel, cooking ware by Calphalon that made cooking and clean up much easier. Our stay was so carefree that I canceled the hotel we had reserved for our second week to stay here for another full week. That was where we hit the only glitch. I received a message saying that VRBO no longer managed the property. So I called Castle Resorts, the company that had sent us the check-in process info after we had not heard further from VRBO. They insisted they did not have a property at the Golf Villas. Insisted. Luckily, I was determined. I then tried a number I had from our first day when we couldn't figure out how to get on the internet. The info in the "Aloha" book for tenants was not working. Anyway, that person took my info and we were able to stay another week. I'm writing this at the end of that week. We've had a vacation full of wonderful memories here in paradise. If we ever come back, we''ll definitely try to stay here.
